Booked online with this co. Website didn't accept my payment, hence I booked with another company. Guess what - payment went through and now I have two bookings for the same place. Explained situation to them and guess what - no help at all. Expensive lesson learnt Keep away from this site.

Absolutely unacceptable Co. Made a booking paid deposit only to find 1 hour later that the Hotel was fully booked, Love Holidays contacted me within 3 hours, re-booked my partner and I into another room, only to find 10 minutes later that the room was fully booked! No apology no kiss my back side nothing AVOID THIS HOLIDAY CO. LIKE THE PLAGUE

14 % discount to be applied to hotel booking. These clowns ran around in circles for 15days. Never applied discount and I paid in full. Now I have to chase these for a refund of €353. I've been listening to absolute nonsense from them for quite some time now. Used them regularly before. This will be last time. Regards Karl Gunnery

It’s so sad to find out that such a popular app does this kind of nonsense. They do not even take into account your personal circumstances even when u explain...all u get is “sorry but you still need to pay charges for cancellation” pretty much summed up. My deposit was £50 and they want me to pay £200 on top of that when my flight is in September! Nonsense. Wish i had read reviews before booking

I booked a holiday a few weeks ago, I recently lost my dad to cancer 3 days ago. I tried to cancel the holiday and they told me to pay half the price of the holiday. I explained my situation and all they could say was “sorry for your loss but you still need to pay the money” please DONT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!! it’s seriously not worth the drama

I wouldnt even give 1 star, honestly APPALLING company... was an obvious error once I had made the booking and spoken to our hotel directly. Hotel advised they refused to allow Love Holidays to use them and I discussed with Love Holidays only to be told there was a mistake and that all would be fine etc. A few months pass by and less than 4 weeks before we are due to leave we are informed theres been an mix up with the booking number and the hotel cant accommodate us... oh bl00dy really, how convenient! They wanted to put us in a hotel with a lower rating, lower class/ smaller room, miles away from the beach when our original hotel was literally overlooking the beach! I raised a complaint with LH and suddenly they could reimburse our original hotel, but not our original room. So they wanted us to have a room a 3rd of the size for the same amount of money!!!! A room that costs a lot less per night! Now for us to cancel they will not reimburse our flights or transfers!!!!! Honestly disgusting company and they are now completely ignoring all our correspondence and not even refunded our hotel!!!! Tried live chat, email and phone and got no where!!

LOV1012728PT cancelation at 7 days a go... And haven't seen my money back. . The worst company for booking hollidays that I tried... No one answer the emails... And probably i have to pay a phone call for england... Use booking.com or another one... Not loveholidays! I canceled because they gave me a voucher with a phone number that doesn't work... I tried for several times to contact all emails from lovehollidays and none of them gave any kind of feedback

Do not use this company! I have just returned from a trip to Barcelona booked with them. They charged me for a return transfer which they failed to do. They made no attempt to arrange a transfer once I arrived and left me to get myself back and forth . They did eventually repay my expense and refund my payment but this was less than satisfactory ss they didn't care how I was to get to and from the airport at all.

I had a booking for me and my partner for our anniversary I was really looking forward to it, but now I have been beyond stressed and have been looking for a last minute holiday. I spent £2100 for this booking which I thought was reasonable for a 9 night stay. I made an amendment online to upgrade my room from a junior suite to a privilege room, as I made the booking on Manage account on my phone I did not notice that the system had automatically set a default of my original board basis which was all inclusive to bed and breakfast, it was only when I received the email confirmation 5 minutes after the booking that I had noticed that it had changed my original board basis. At this point love holiday had charged me an additional £110 per person for this amendment. Now to change my board basis with the new room to all inclusive which is what it should have been in the first place it costed me £550. At this point my booking had gone from a total of £2100 to £2900. This is not little money, this is a huge amount. I called and called and spoke to numerous advisers that were simply unhelpful. I don't even think they are looking into ensuring that when a customer is changing their room type that they are also changing their board basis. I have spoken since to many different holiday companies who all agrees with my confusion of this incident. Love holiday has ruined an enjoyable holiday for me, they are money grabbers to confuse customers to spend more money, They did not offer any discounts or anything for this incident. The manager and supervisor showed little remorse. Please if you are reading this do not book any holidays on this website, any mistakes that are made in your booking you will get charged almost double. It's crazy to me that a change I made in 5 minutes there was absolutely nothing the company could do. NOTHING. But expect me to go on holiday and enjoy it? Ridiculous. DO NOT BOOK FROM THIS SITE, will be posting this on all my social media and blogs.

Do not use this absolute rip off company. They are almost impossible to talk to and they simply ignore you when you eventually get through to them. I booked a holiday with them for myself and my wife, all inclusive to The Dominican Republic. After we had booked a single friend of ours wished to join us, so we went on to the website and added the third person in what we thought was their own room. When we received the confirmation we noticed they had put three of us in the same room, we asked for another room to be added and they said nothing was available. We contacted the resort direct and rooms were available so we booked our friend a separate room direct with the hotel. The resort told us to get back to Love Holidays and to get a refund for the third person as they had paid fully all inclusive. Love Holidays told us we could not have a refund unless we cancelled the flight and the room altogether. This was impossible to do, and why should we have to cancel our friends flight, all we wanted was a refund of the all inclusive catering costs, which the hotel had confirmed to us was refunded to Love Holidays. The hotel told us we were entitled to £520+ refund, Love Holidays refused to give us a single Penney back, saying it was against IATA and ABTA rules. At this stage I asked for proof of this, and Love Holidays completely blanked me and closed the messages page available to me on their website, they actually marked it as CLOSED. I came on to this review site and found other people had put an e-mail address on to contact them, so I sent them three e-mails and they ignored them all. This company will blank you if you have an issue, they are unethical and are just downright rude, unprofessional and a rip off. We had no help from Love Holidays at all, they were a disgrace and lied to us about rooms not being available. The hotel said they had several problems with Love Holidays and were taking them off of their approved agents list, and it seems this is common practice for these cowboys. Please think twice before using this unscrupulous company, the amount of complaints about them tells the true story, I wish I had read these review sites before using them.

Booked a hotel room only and selected the small deposit option not the non refundable option. This was just in case I needed to cancel it. I was not informed that I’d be liable to pay the full amount and that the booking was non refundable until I’d made the small deposit and received the confirmation email. So I called them and told them that their site is misleading and that I would not be paying a penny more. After being put on hold for up 30 minutes the guy I spoke to came back and agreed with me! However the finance department still keep sending me invoices so I’ve also called ABTA. This company is not an honourable business and should also be reported to Trading Standards!

Bunch of rogues! Clients beware! I cancelled my holiday at the start of February 12 weeks prior to going. I used there online service . I was prepared to lose my deposit and put a line under the matter. I was astonished when the company then tried to take the full balance . I contacted the company imediatley and explained the situation and they alnoledged my cancellation . I asked for all correspondence to be forwarded and told them not to attemp taking another payment . To date they have sent no information, do not reply to emails and have tried to access my account 36 times . This company are complete crooks . Please do not get involved with this rogue outfit . Matter now in the hand of ABTA

DO NOT USE LOVEHOLIDAYS IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A NICE HOLIDAY! My husband and I booked our NYC trip with loveholidays a month ago. We gave them a call to enquire about the rate we saw online, and happy with the total amount we were given, we booked our holiday with them on the phone. When we received our receipt through email, we found a hidden clause in their terms and conditions which was not disclosed to us before we booked, that we are to pay the compulsory facilities fee of $35/person per night at the hotel. With our 6 day holiday, this meant that we were supposed to pay another $420 EXTRA, on top of what we already paid which is a substantial amount!!! We have looked at other sites like booking.com and they clearly state if there will be an additional fee to be paid at the hotel. We called back loveholidays to complain that this additional substantial cost was not disclosed to us before we made the booking on the phone but the rude lady on the phone ended the call abruptly and said it is not her problem. To add insult to injury, we were also mis-sold the breakfast, because we specifically asked if it would be a buffet breakfast rather than a grab and go croissant & coffee breakfast, and they confirmed that it would be buffet. But when we got to the hotel, the reception said they only offer grab and go. BEWARE of LOVEHOLIDAYS. Their information is misleading, the staff are rude and sneaky, and you might end up paying a lot more than you intended which is what exactly happened to us.

Misleading Pricing on their Website!!! I made a booking for April 2020 and upon receiving their confirmation. There was a Price Query against their website. I attempted within 30 minutes to contact them for a explanation and was told to call Customer Service the following day. I contacted Customer Service as advised and was told that if I cancelled the booking I would loose my £1753 Intial Deposit & incurr a further £300 Cancellation Fee. She advised me to send a copy of the screen dump to their Price Match Dept for consideration. They replied promptly that their Price Match Policy would not be applied. After several further phone calls to ther Customer Service Dept, I now have to wait 25 days for a partial refund. I do not understand why I should be paying a card payment fee which is now illegal and private transfer fee for a service that was not to be provided until April, 2020. My next step is contacting ABTA to highlight their poor practice.
