“I had a wonderful holiday in Zante booked through loveholidays. The booking process was simple, and everything was well organised from start to finish. Our flights and hotel arrangements went smoothly, and Zante itself is a beautiful island with stunning beaches, crystal-clear water, and a relaxed atmosphere. We stayed at Diana Palace, where the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the all-inclusive package offered a good variety of food and drinks. The only downside was that our return flight was delayed, which caused us to miss our booked bus and pay extra for train tickets home. That part of the journey was frustrating. However, despite the delay, we had a fantastic holiday overall and made some wonderful memories. I would happily book another holiday through loveholidays and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great holiday at a good price.”

“I have just returned from a 7-night all inclusive stay at this hotel, and I can honestly say it is the worst holiday experience I have ever had. I have never left a negative review before to anything, but I feel it is important to make others aware of the issues we experienced throughout our stay. The first thing to mention is that the hotel is extremely misleading compared to the photos advertised on Love Holidays. The images make the hotel appear modern, clean and well-maintained, but the reality is completely different. This is not a 4-star hotel in my opinion - I would rate it no higher than a 2-star. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was one of the biggest concerns. It was simply unacceptable. During our stay, there were leaks in our bathroom, the bedroom ceiling was cracked and noticeably dipping, which was worrying in itself. One day, whilst walking to the toilets by the pool near the guest rooms, we passed an open room where maintenance work was taking place. The ceiling had completely collapsed onto the floor, which did not inspire any confidence in the safety or upkeep of the hotel. The food was, without question, the biggest disappointment. Every single meal throughout the week was served cold. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were consistently freezing, to the point where we had to use the microwave every day just to make our food edible. Had the microwave not been available, we genuinely don’t know how we would have managed. We weren’t the only guests complaining either - on one occasion alone we overheard at least five other families and couples making exactly the same comments about the food temperature. To make matters worse, the restaurants were never ready to open at their advertised times. Every single day breakfast, lunch and dinner started late because staff were still setting everything up. We regularly had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes while drinks machines were switched on, panini presses and pancake grills heated up, plates, bowls and glasses were put out, and cling film was removed from cereal and other food items. This should all have been completed before guests were allowed into the restaurant. Stock levels were another ongoing issue. Basic items constantly ran out and weren’t replenished promptly. We regularly found there were no cutlery, glasses, bowls, milk, cereal, juice, fruit or items from the bakery section. It felt as though nobody was monitoring or managing the restaurant properly. One of the most shocking experiences happened when I used one of the all-inclusive drinks machines. As I placed my cup underneath the dispenser, around 20-30 ants came pouring out into my drink. It was absolutely disgusting and completely unhygienic. After that, I refused to use the drinks machines for the rest of the holiday and ended up spending my own money every day buying two or three cans of soft drinks because I had no confidence that the machines were being cleaned or maintained correctly. The pool bar was also poorly managed. On four of the seven days it didn’t open until around 10:40am despite the advertised opening time being 10:00am. Each morning there were piles of dirty plastic cups still left on the bar from the previous evening, showing they hadn’t even been cleared away overnight. Unfortunately, the service matched the poor standards elsewhere in the hotel. While a handful of staff were pleasant, many came across as uninterested or rude. There was no sense of urgency anywhere in the hotel. Service was incredibly slow, and it often took asking four or five different members of staff before someone would actually help or answer a simple question. Housekeeping was equally disappointing. On several occasions they removed our used towels but failed to replace them with clean ones, leaving us with no towels at all. This happened around four or five times during the week, meaning we repeatedly had to visit reception to request fresh towels. The beds were not consistently made or changed properly, and toilet rolls were frequently forgotten, resulting in more trips to reception just to receive basic essentials that should have been replenished automatically. Overall, this hotel fell well below the standards expected of a 4-star property. The poor cleanliness, misleading advertising, cold food, lack of organisation, hygiene concerns, maintenance issues, poor housekeeping and inconsistent customer service completely ruined what should have been a relaxing holiday. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I certainly would not return. I hope the management take these comments seriously because significant improvements are needed in almost every area before this hotel can justify its current rating.”
