Tried to book online at advertised holiday price, only to get message that I'd need to phone to complete transaction. Did that and spoke to Doris, only to be told the issue was that the advertised holiday was not available at that price, but I'd need to pay more. Agreed reluctantly, they took my money but got a call next day from Doris again to say that the room had been sold before they could secure it, but guess what, there were more available, but at an increased cost! Asked to Cancel transaction, (still have pending payment in my account though) Seem like a bunch of charlatans on the make to me. Will never use again.

They only get 1 Star because I can't leave zero! Appalling experience with this provider, who "hide" behind the various intermediaries that they deal with to DODGE issues when they arise. I've used them once, and that will be all, for sure! Raised the problem with them while I was at the Hotel in question, and since then ALL they have done is to attempt to defend their position and fail to see that THEIR systems are full of flaws and fail to resolve anything at all. Lame excuses, poor systems - oh yes..... That'll be LOVEHOLIDAYS.COM

Actually all the reviews I have read since the holiday and those before were ultimately spot on. Badly advertised on the hotel point of view. Incorrect information and bad communication with transfer. Flights with vueling AWFUL. The only saving grace was the beach but the chaps charging for sunbeds so rude and I was not allowed a sunbed of choice because I was on my own. The entire holiday as others have said really bad and would definitely not use loveholidays again. The lady I first spoke to to enquire was massively rude and they are 'not allowed to give you any information' you have to call airline and hotel direct (thought that was the point of an agent). I have made a complaint regarding several bad things on this holiday and loveholidays won't help at all. I would not recommend using loveholidays at all. Incredibly bad experience

Appauling customer service. Even managers cant help you to do something as simple as add a person to your hotel. Today is one of many calls. I spoke to customer service then ammendments then sales, then Anna in customer services snd then a manager cslled Alistair who was also useless. I cancelled in the end and went with a better company. I would never use them again.

Fuming!! Not quite sure why you fail to deliver customer service ! I paid of a transfer FROM THE AIRPORT TO THE HOTEL as stated on the transfer voucher and like wise FROM THE HOTEL TO THE AIRPORT no where on the sent information does it state dump in a town and say ‘I don’t know where the hotel is but this is where I’m leaving you!’ I googled it and tried to explain that the hotel was a 50 min walk or a 10 minute taxi !! I showed him and he said I don’t know where the hotel is but I’m leaving !! You kidding me then I’ve had to pay for an extra €15 euros for a taxi to take us to the hotel !! Then when I ring up you’re apologising telling me that that’s no acceptable and transfer company should of informed me and that it was a drop off point and not a direct transfer, I would be refunded the €15 euros (still waiting on that!) And the quality customer service I received was ‘ I can cancel the transfer and get a refund and figured it out myself or I can PAY more for a smaller private shuttle!! ARE YOU MAD !! YOU SHOULD BE TELLING BE THAT AS A MISTAKE HAS BEEN MADE ON YOURS AND THE TRANSFER COMPANYS SIDE THAT YOU WILL BE PROVIDING A SUITABLE SHUTTLE TO COLLECT US FROM THE HOTEL BACK TO THE AIRPORT If that was the message I’d received I would be fine and not have to rant !! I’m on holiday to relax and chill out and should t have to be sending emails and calls to deal with something that quite frankly is NOT MY FRIGGING FAULT !!! The easiest solution to rectify the mistake is the above! Your services are a JOKE!

Seems to common theme with miss selling holidays and hotels. Arrived at our hotel only to find their were no rooms. Was put in a house with damp smelling rooms with unclean crusty bathrooms It was like a hostel. Only to be told their was no other rooms at the inn. Stay away from love holidays and the hotel pin do sol in Portugal.

Not clear and transport with terms and conditions. Got hit with an 85 euro bill at the end of the holiday ( which was hidden in smallprint) . Hotel I went with was mis advertised as Best Western still on website as best Western when not one for over a year. When I rang up ton complain very unhelpful and not interested in improving said I had to put everything in writing. If I had listed a hotel incorrectly I would want to put it right myself and would be concerned not relying on only investigating if customer complains. Tor Vergatta Hotel needs replacing rating as definitely not 4 star. Room are tired and tatty as is the whole hotel. Pool is falling apart and dirty. The area is very poor and dangerous to walk through, and you have to walk through it twice a day minimum, as nothing near hotel. Very dirty area loads of full bins which smell rancid. Loads of rubbish everywhere. Polystyrene cups in room for hot drinks not changed daily, no milk provided at all. Sign on top of building doesn't work. Finish inside is poor as door to bathroom didn't close double bed was two singles pushed together. Bathroom needed redecorating. Where they have attempted to redecorate there is over splashing, which is just sloppy. Has balcony but no furniture on it. Don't clean restaurant floor daily clearly stained from previous days. A glass was dropped on the evening and there were still remnants next morning, which is unacceptable standard. Curtain in room was dirty. It was advertised as a Best Western and still is on website, but manager confirmed to me in person it has not been a best Western for over a year.company wasn't even that concerned about that, they simply don't care. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN THEY ARE CHEAP FOR A REASON.

Not booked with this company however I thought I'd make people aware of the misleading and dishonest nature of the website. By this, I mean after every page you click into, the price "magically" increases. For example, at the start a hotel was advertised at €570 for flights and hotel per person. By the very last page (not changing any dates, rooms, etc.) it ended up at €898 pp. Upon checking if this was correct, the price went down to something like €880 pp. Prices seem to be plucked out of thin air.

So I originally booked to go on holiday for XMAS 2018 through loveholidays. (A friend of mine did make me aware of their scam but I thought it was too far fetched UNTIL IT HAPPEND!!!) When you book a holiday with loveholidays the price online is £XXXX, but then you will receive a phone call within 24 hours of your payment being taken advising that the price will be increased by £XXX per person or your holiday will be cancelled by them. If you refuse to pay the price hike they will then try to force cancellation charges upon you. Even after speaking with their team and receiving written confirmation that you WONT be charged ANYTHING at all, the best is yet to come. By this time you will probably think that it was just a bad experience and think nothing more of it but if it was only that simple. 6-7 months later you will receive a CCJ advising you that the cancellation fees NOW do stand and do disregard their previous written confirmation. How this company continues to trade with be so well known for their price increases after the booking is beyond me. The worst part of the experience, is that I did believe that after my complaint was originally resolved, maybe I was just unlucky and it was a coincidence that this happen in both mine and my friend's case. However a work colleague has also received the same experience very recently.

Booked a room through the company only to receive an email after I had paid to say that the room I booked had increased in price by $3500. The only reason I booked my holiday to the destination was because of such a great price. Not a good way to do business.

Do not book with love holidays. On booking my holiday in February 2019 I had access to all the facilities of the hotel I booked to stay in. Through changes made since I do not now have access to the facilities I originally booked for. Infinity pool bar areas etc love holidays have basically said it’s my problem not there’s they are unwilling to give me access to these areas and are demanding I pay for it as an upgrade bare in mind I have payed for the whole holiday and originally had access to everything !Staff are un educated in what they tell you. Very unhelpful nor bothered about ruining a family holiday “just book another hotel” was the first customer service advisors suggestion !! Avoid avoid avoid

AVOID! We booked a holiday online at a fixed price, only to be telephoned hours later by a man threatening to cancel our booking unless we paid £150 more, as the holiday had for some reason gone up. We agreed but days later the holiday is still advertised for the same price. Love Holidays stated it’s our own fault for agreeing and that now we have to pay more. WARNING, your booking is not booked and they will pester you on the phone for more money. LOVE HOLIDAYS = SCAM!

We haven't actually travelled yet so this may be updated but as it stands it's not been the best experience so far. We're a family of 5, picked the holiday we wanted and booked. A couple of days later I called as we'd had no confirmation of the holiday and was told they'd be booking it that day. I then got confirmation through for 3 of us directly from RyanAir followed almost immediately by a phone call from this agent to say they could only book 3 of us at the original price and there was an increase of around £60 quid if we wanted to book the other 2 seats. Price increase aside, this has meant we have 2 separate bookings, itineraries etc. which is causing confusion when booking other things like parking etc and making it difficult to manage the trip. As someone who normally books flights/hotels etc myself rather than via an agent I'm left wondering what exactly they have done for us? The answer is very little. We have had to book any extras etc ourselves including reserved seats to ensure we are sat beside our children. My advice would be to use a credit card so you are protected and book your holiday yourself. Booking through Loveholidays has just made a normally straightforward process more confusing and more expensive!

Nightmare holiday . I booked my holiday to turkey through loveholiday. 12th in till 19th of June . After 6 dayside my holiday On the 18th of June , we was coming back from the beach to the hotel and was stopped my extremely rude member of hotel reception staff to be told that we need to give the key room back and remove our luggage ASAP then leave , as the check out time it’s already gone , not to mention that on the booking we had flight date untill 19th of June , we wasn’t given option to extend the room just ,, give the keys take the luggage and leave ,, Eventually we paid £100 for an extra night when previously we paid £40 per night .... we then called love holidays complain line to explained situation , gave them booking reference number and was told to send an email to explain situation in writing .. and that was around 10 pm . The next day after airport arrival we faced even the worst nightmare ,we was simply told that that the flight is already gone and it was 1 . 55 am not pm . I then ended up paying additional £275 to Thomas cook for booking next available flight .thats mean we have spend £375 in total extra fir this nightmare trip ! To clarify all we booked staying in and flight untill 19th , but want aware that leave time is at night on 19th as on confirmation wasn’t specified time am and pm , so love holidays blame us for it . As we should have checked . It’s not my forest time traveling with travel agent , neither flying, in the past I was always receiving reminders about flight check in , or hotel check out but in this case I have not received any . It all very confusing if you do not check every single details on your booking then you are going to be conned just as we was !!! What a scam and unfair sale , they just want to make more money by using every single trick !!! Stay away from them if you want to have peaceful holidays
