The hotel I booked are offering free cancellations. Love holidays are refusing to return the money. I contacted the hotel and they said the refund must go through Love Holidays. Warning you can not contact this company. Their chat line does not exist. I would never use this company again. I feel I am being ignored and robbed by them. This is a warning to every holiday maker.

Jet2 have cancelled my flights booked through Loveholidays with whom I have booked hotel etc. Jet2 have confirmed they have processed the refund to Loveholidays and despite leaving three messages on their manage my booking process I have not had any contact. Our holiday was due to start in less than 2 weeks. I fully appreciate that this is a difficult time, however, Loveholidays are not helping themselves or their customers by not talking to them. I'd be happy to discuss options rather than just demand a refund but only if I can speak to someone. I suspect they will go bust if they continue to ignore their customers! Shambles, avoid.

I really did not want to leave a review at this time as we have used LoveHolidays several times in the past and their customer service has been nothing short of excellent, that and considering the huge problems they must be facing with regard to Covid19. However I don't like to be lied to and I don't like the non communication which I feel sure could have been avoided with some proper planning earlier on ... As it is I have LoveHolidays telling me one thing and Tui telling me the complete opposite being that as LoveHolidays took my money for a package deal then they should reimburse me in full ... Surely as I understand the law this must be so ... TUI told me that LoveHolidays pay for the TUI flight element with their company credit card and as such TUI would need to refund LoveHolidays and not me ... Makes perfect sense to me so why do they tell me to sort out the refund myself with TUI ... Only to stall the process I would say but I will also say this ... I will get my money back in full by hook or by court ! ... Please sort it LoveHolidays and at least keep your customers informed ... Its better than winding everyone up into a frenzy because they/we don't know what's going on and you have their/my hard earned cash !!

Avoid this company at all costs. Even in these difficult times they are unhelpful and belligerent. I have a £2600 Holiday to attend a wedding in Cyprus who are not letting Brits in. They will not change the dates or cancel with refund. Bunch of thieves. Elena on their chat was rude and officious. Totally couldn't care less. Avoid like the plague.

Will not refund money after 3 months. I advise everyone to go directly for charge back or small claims court. Diabolical company.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE .. ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY YOU REALLY ARE ON YOUR OWN... DUE TO THE COVID 19 ALL PHONE LINES DOWN & ALL EMAILS IGNORED.. £3000 GONE...

Paid in full for a package holiday early July flights were cancelled by airline weeks ago no response to my emails or messages what a sham company using my bank now to recover the £3000

Can not get refund for hotel booked and was canceled by Love holiday due to Covid 19. I’ll Never use Love holiday again, ever!

I appreciate what you’re both saying but I’m a genuine customer and applied my holiday booking number to my name so to say it’s spam or not genuine would amaze me if it was taken down or got band but thank you for the comments, from a genuine customer trying to help.

STEPHEN: Loveholidays gets Trustpilot to get you banned if you post negative reviews - Trustpilot is not independent nor authentic- see the fake 5 star reviews they allow to be posted. The main thing that no-one in the media seems to be addressing is that even though you booked 3 elements through LH and paid one price and they booked the flights, when you want a refund they might refund hotel and transfers but won't refund flights as the holiday was "not a package". Oh yes it was, in the definition of a package under the 2018 regulations. They say "go to airline", airline won't refund as LH booked the flights on their own credit card, so Catch 22. I think the best way forward with this specific issue if anyone is experiencing it is to bombard current consumer programmes like "Your Money and your life" , "The Martin Lewis Money Programme" and "Watchdog" with the details (email addresses are easily found on line) and then if they get enough of the same issue from loads of people they might take action.And it would warn future holidaymakers never to book with LH. (Oh, and ABTA are useless too - they do not protect your holiday in the way they advertise, they are in league with the travel companies and protect THEM not you....)

STEPHEN: when i left negative reviews of this awful company on Trustpilot, LH reported them and Trustpilot said I was "spamming" (I'd left several negative reviews over a longish period in order to document the ongoing problems i had been having.) A chap called Dave (I think that was his name) did a very funny spoof interview with the CEO and he got banned by LH too. I think he has left it on this site now - hilarious. I do not believe Trustpilot is an independent and reputable review site. This one is better and does not have the fake 5 star reviews that TP has allowed. The main issue that no-one seems to have addressed so far in the media is that of LH saying their holidays are not "package holidays" (even when you've booked 3 elements through them and paid one price to LH who booked the flights, thus fulfilling the criteria for a package holiday under the 2018 regulations). They will EVENTUALLY refund accommodation and transfers if you persist, but they tell you to get the flight refund from the airline. The airline won't refund as LH booked the flight, so Catch 22. I think we ought to bombard "Your Money and your Life" and "The Martin Lewis Money Show" with this issue so that it is investigated. (Oh, and ABTA are useless too, they keep sending you back to LH even though LH won't refund flights and are acting illegally.) The "protection" we thought ABTA offered is in fact an illusion and they support their members not the customer

GO ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR HOLIDAYS & AVOID THE HEARTACHE OF THESE CROOKS! If you are serious thinking of booking a holiday with these con artists then i would seriously think again! I've now had to report them to Atol as they are scamming ALL their customers by turning all telephone lines off & blatantly ignoring emails! To think I've used this company for the last 6 yrs, 3 times a year sickens me to the bottom of my stomach. Absolutely Disgusting & Totally Untrustworthy crooks

Appalling customer service. Booked a holiday pre-COVID. Cancelled and offered a voucher. Declined voucher to request refund in line with legal rights under EU Regulation 261/2004. Communication only via impossible to reach message service. When finally reached unable to resolve anything and declined to discuss further when advised of passenger legal rights. I do not recommend this company.

what are the staff doing at love holidays ? getting friends family and staff to post good reviews a hour ago ? ,,,, the phones are down they are not taking calls so id like to know what number there calling. THIS COMPANY NEEDS INVESTIGATING and FAST ! The only people there kidding is them selfs with posting FAKE reviews, so please don't be taken in by them.go on twitter you'll see the truth. CUSTOMERS are STRUGGLING in every way to get a REPLY/UPDATE or REFUND and what are the staff getting paid to do ? as they are not taking call. no online chat and being selective on who they reply to. still waiting for conformation on refund but reading others reviews not looking promising.

holiday to turkey cancelled due to covid best part of £1200 and not had a penny back yet or even an email, easyjet have refunded me £20 for seats together and refunded love holidays but they are not refunding me for anything flights,hotel or transfers..uk government sort it out.will never book with them again
