Loveholidays are thieves. Do not book a holiday with this fraudulent company. They do no pay refunds and make up excuses to avoid paying even though they are legally obligated. I would advise any potential customer to shop for a holiday elsewhere.

I booked a holiday to madeira with love… I booked a holiday to madeira with love holidays when i booked the price of the were cheaper after five days with no contact or booking confirmation i finally got in touch on there live chat only to be told the price had changed and that i could cancel or pay the difference they did agree to pay some of the price so i agreed to pay the rest which i was ok with no on the Saturday afternoon before we were due to fly on the Monday we received an email telling us to fill in relevant forms for covid which was fine until i read further to see that we would need proof of a negative covid test although we did phone about we were unable to do so i canceled the holiday on there web site unable to communicate with anyone they emailed me on the Sunday to say that i would not be getting a refund when i eventually get in touch with them i was asked what i want i said i would like be refunded they said no i would not recommend this company to anyone so i say just be careful who you use at this moment in time

First booking paid for luggage but was not appearing on booking or airline....spoke to online chat, told me it was fine. Still worried so went back online chat to be told this time it wasn't right...so 3 hours later and 3 advisors later told they would sort it. 2 days later still not heard, due to fly in 2 days at this point, chased up again and finally got luggage added to booking. Second booking I made to Turkey, BEWARE!! If you book a transfer with love holidays (in this case our transfer shuttle was with hotel beds slu-shit company!!) then your flight ends up being late or in our case a 2 hour queue at passport control, they take no responsibility if you are out of your time slot for your shuttle/transfer and you are expected to wait for another shuttle (if available) or pay for your own! We arrived for transfer to be eventually greeted by a very rude man accusing us of being late. He said the shuttle had gone as we were late and the next one was for the customers due in at 1am and we were to wait for that ( another 3 hours away potentially if that flight also had to get baggage and queue at passport control!!) he was very rude and argumentative and had more interest in the customers that weren't here yet than the ones stood in front of us! We paid for a taxi in the end thinking love holidays would refund for the original transfer....No they did not, said it is not their problem if we ate late for transfer even if circumstances out of our control and we would not be refunded! Appalling customer service, pay for a service expect to get it and not be treated like that!!! Avoid!!!

This company is a good company untill you want a refund!! The customer service is shocking. everytime I go on live chat I get fobbed off with excuses. I really cant see this company being around for long the way they treat there customers.

Avoid this company. Booked an overnight stopover at hotel at Luton Airport back in February for a September holiday. Flights cancelled due to COVID. Loveholidays refused to refund as travel to London was still possible! Had to cancel quite a few bookings this year. This is the first time I have encountered such poor corporate behaviour. Booking.com and others have went above and beyond. Not this company. Would never use them and recommend others not to either.

Never again. Holiday in June was cancelled in May. Still no flight refund Had to set a chargeback through my bank. As of now we are supposedly flying in a weeks time. Hotel is closed. Tried multiple times to change this. Like nailing custard to the ceiling

They have cancelled their membership with ABTA, the UK is leaving the EU on the 31/12 /2020, and they had real power over these U.K. online travel companies. Love Holidays are successfully operating in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium and many other EU counties. They won’t have to pay a penny to U.K. customers as they are officially leaving the EU in 14 weeks. The U.K. is such a mess with Covid that no one is bothered, and France and Spain are practically no go areas.

I booked to go to Portugal in May i got a credit note for the hotel and had to sort out the refund for my airfare with Ryanair this was sent to loveholidays on the 5th September but loveholidays say they haven't got it even though my credit with Ryanair is now nil. You cannot contact them or get a response for love nor money. Do not believe all these reviews popping up on other sites giving them 5 stars saying that they dealt or spoke to this person or that person they don't exist they have just resigned from ABTA that says it all. I don't think I'll ever see my money again !

Company is inadequate, poor customer service. Does not allow phone calls, no response to live chat or online messages/emails. I have been attempting to get a refund since mid March due to Covid-19 cancellation without a single response to my requests. How convenient!

We confirmed with Love Holidays on the 25th August, that we still planned to travel to Majorca as planned, on the 31st August. We arrived at our hotel in a taxi at 5pm to find the hotel closed. We were advised by local residents that the hotel had been closed for some time. I called the emergency helpline and was advised that a representative would call me back within the hour. The representative called over an hour later, I explained that we were on the seafront with our cases, and that one of the travellers was disabled, and distressed by the situation, by this point it was 6.30pm. The rep asked if I could go and find a hotel and he would try to book it. I pointed out that it was Loveholidays responsibility to find us accommodation, and I was in disbelief that had even suggested that we should be walking around with our cases looking for a hotel at this time of the evening. He said he didn’t know which hotels were open in the area. Due to the fact that it was 7pm at this point, and my son was stressed, I gave the rep the name of a hotel that was in view, and was open, which he eventually booked us into. He offered me £30 compensation for the inconvenience, which I refused. When I got home the £30 had been paid into my account in spite of my refusing the offer. I haven’t bothered contacting Loveholidays, as I’m doubtful, given my previous contact with them, that a satisfactory outcome would’ve been achieved. My first and last holiday with this company! Be very wary, other holidaymakers have since told me about similar experiences with this company,

I had to contact love holidays to tell them my hotel was closed then they put me in another hotel then 2 days later that hotel puts on Facebook its closing the day before I arrive its now only 5 days before I travel and I still haven't been told what hotel I've been moved to very unprofessional and very stressful... the live chat don't get you anywhere just being told lie after lie very disappointed

charged me an extra £250 to change my holiday dates because Easyjet canceled our flights,the when we arrived in Antalya airport Turkey Loveholiday put the wrong hotel on the 724 transfer list had to pay £16.88 to put it right then had to pay 724 transfer anther £16.00 to return to the airport after our holday,have tried to Contact loveholidays throu livechat,phone to no avail been on holiday with loveholidays many times over the years no problem before,WILL NOT BE BOOKING WITHEM AGAIN 😡😡😡

I had booked a holiday to malta from the 2nd to 9th of July gave a full week trying to get in contact with someone at love holidays to no avail cancelled my holiday on the 30th of june and then loveholidays subsequently cancelled the holiday on the 1st of July lost €1200 first and last time booking a holiday with love holidays horrendous service during a pandemic not our choice not to go on holidays we were taking advice from our government

I have been dealing with Loveholidays over the last 6 weeks. Since their lines are down, you can only speak to them through LiveChat. I advised them prior 2 weeks to the holiday that I could not attend the holiday due to quarantine measures and that I would like to know my options. They claimed they would send a SMS which was sent and that would be it. They did send the message, I replied NO as you see via the image and they claim I can either have a cash refund or credit note etc and that they would email me within 4 days of that message. They never emailed. I have had another 7 conversations with them after until now on LiveChat as they don't have any other way of communication. I cant save the conversations but today they said they have all the recorded conversations so they can show you if needed. The thing that has happened here is that they have lied on many occasions to try and keep the money and have said different things in order to suit them which is what you will see in the messages. So the first thing was that they said they never received the SMS, clearly you can see prior to the message that there was an SMS so I had to send in proof on the 27th August so that they would get back to me. They didn't. What happened with the next 2 conversations is they say someone will get back to me. Nothing happened. So this time which was on the 9th September on Live chat, they said that I could get a refund and they can see a message in my inbox claiming that if I reply I will get my money within 2 weeks of the holiday. So I looked on my inbox, nothing was there. Another lie. So then they said OK I will get the technical team to be in touch. Guess what, no technical team replied. So now I have gone back which is the 15th September and they now say I cant get a refund. I said do you want me to resend proof of the image and also what conversations have been said, you must have them recorded as it is a data protection policy , they said yes they have everything and that you can write a post on your booking order. Well another lie, I went on my booking and there was no option and then as a final suggestion they said to write to you. Countless lies which I believe is actually fraud on their part. I also have the ATOL protection certificate also if needed. I did not even give me the shuttle bus money. Worst company, will keep your money and lie whenever possible.
