Still awaiting a refund from a flight cancelled in early April, even though the airline have refunded the money to Love Holidays in early August. Excuses, lies, and incompetence are all you ever get from the online chat, which is now the only way to contact them. When I asked how to complain, I was asked what I wanted to complain about. When I explained, I was told that there is no complaint facility. A quick Google search revealed the amount of truth in that statement, i.e. absolutely none. The guidance explaining the complaints procedure is incorrect and points you to a non-existent section of the 'Manage my Booking' page. The only other option is to complain via postal mail. This is just one example of the ridiculous journey we have been on in our attempt to get our refund. I should add that not once have we actually demanded the money in an unreasonable manner. We have only asked for more information on when we would receive it, and what could possibly cause a business transaction delay of over two months (their latest explanation for the delayed payment). COVID is no longer an excuse. Awful experience, untrustworthy company. In future I will book directly with the airline, by credit card, in order to better protect my hard earned money rather than squander it on charlatans who are only interested in saving their own hides!

Absolutely useless. Been waiting for a refund for over 5 months. Every time I talk to someone on live chat, the situation changes. They always try to push me back to Ryanair but Ryanair have already confirmed they have paid the flight money back to LH. LH are just holiday my money without telling me and doing everything they can to not pay me back. Refunds Process on here should be rated 'Criminal'.

They are thieths, I have been waiting for 2000£ refund for 6 months and they have passed the blame on to anyone they can, 2 seperate company's on 2 seperate occasions. I have asked to see documentation that they can not provide 2 of the representative blamed a company that they did not even realise that loveholidays managed. So infact blamed themselves. Absolutely disgraceful

Okay. We know Covid is causing mahem but....2 days before we were due to fly to Fuerteventura to a hotel we specifically wanted because of it's facilities and location, we received an email stating that 'an insignificant change' to our booking had been made - the accommodation was changed to an apartment with no pool, 2 miles away, at the top of the hill with a hideous number of steps to climb, without the sea view and no afternoon or evening sun (insignificant?). We also found that we now needed to hire a car (even though there was no parking) to get to where we would only have had to walk 80 meters from the preferred hotel. We had no real option to cancel as the flights are booked separately and there's no way on God's green earth we would have got a refund from Ryanair (bear in mind, even when booking flights through LoveHolidays they only act as your agent now which means you are on your own there). This would not be so bad if I had not contacted LH just a few weeks earlier to discuss cancelling and being fobbed off. Our next holiday is already booked through LH and I've been told that it cannot be cancelled without a £75 penalty and total loss of the cost of transfers on top (I'd like to keep the transfers but apparently you cancel all or nothing but cancelling flights is still down to you - I guess they've had enough of dealing with budget airlines on behalf of their customers). Buyer beware! Use this outfit at your own peril.

Flights cancelled Ryanair have refunded Love Holidays they say they have not received it 2 months later they are still saying no money received even though I have sent proof of refund and gave them the last 4 digits of credit card money was refunded to as they did a charge back with Ryanair - total waste of time these people should not be allowed to sell holidays - total bunch of imbecile. Customer service not 1 single response to any emails sent to them through their Manage My Booking - they couldn’t care less if they tried

Terrible, I've still not been refunded for my cancelled holiday in May, Received Many Texts and Emails blaming Ryan air until I uploaded confirmation that the airline had refunded them (sept 10), Now the texts have stopped but still no refund. They also tricked into accepting a voucher I didn't want for the Hotel / transfer part of the booking on the lie it can be converted to a cash refund.

I booked my vacation to Corfu with Love Holidays one year ago. I have been waiting all year for this trip. On the last day before the trip I found out that my hotel is closed and Love Holidays didn't even bother to let me know about it. How did I find out about it? And I inadvertently found myself reading other people's reviews of the company. What people flying to another country and finding a locked hotels doors. I also tried to contact my hotel and found out that my hotel was closed. So be very careful when you booking your vacation with this company. I tried to contact them but all phone numbers do not exist and cannot be found with email is well.

Still waiting for my refund for flights which were canx over 18 weeks ago. You can get hold of customer services as they have turned thee phones off. If you are lucky you can get hold of them via chat, but they only talk to a certain amount of people a day. I waited for 5 hours online to speak to them only to be told i would have to wait for them to contact me. don't every use this company unless you want to kiss your money goodbye

Very dissapointed! Booked a 10 dayholiday in Turkey for some well needed relaxation. On arrival at the hotel we were forced to pay 250 euro extra for a room that we booked for already through Love Holidays! We paid for a room with a balcony and a jacuzzi bath, on arrival the hotel gave us a below basic room with two single beds, a tiny shower and two small little windows. The shower were full of mould, window handle broken and the electric cables with hanging out of equipment... They advised that Love Holiday only paid them for a basic room even though our confirmation stated balcony and jacuzzi bath. Lie one - the hotel didn't even had balconies! Lie two - the only rooms with jacuzzi baths is in the suites! Lie three - the hotel didn't even had a restaurant or bar facilities, we had to walk three hundered meters to a complete different hotel to eat and get our drinks. We had to pay the 250 euro exra to have the comfort we paid for! What a JOKE! And worst we weren't the only ones that got sold a package that didn't exist! I had to make god knows how many calls and send loads of emails while I were suppposed to be relaxing!! Relaxing that never happened! SUPER SUPER DISSAPOINTED! Not even compencation for all the drama!

Please do not use this rip off company. Messaged me to say my hotel would not be open this year but they will sort alternative accommodation. A week before I was due to fly they messaged me to say my holiday was cancelled and offered me a refund al.ost £400 less than what I paid for the holiday as they said the flights were still going ahead. After numerous emails and live chat no joy whatsoever . They will never get another penny of mine

If I could leave 0 stars I would! We booked a holiday through loveholidays, only for it to be cancelled a day after paying for it, 2 days before departure. We were told the Ryan Air flight we were booked on was cancelled and that we should request a refund directly from them. Loveholidays were UNABLE TO PROVIDE PROOF of this correspondence. On contacting Ryan Air we were told the flight was NOT cancelled and we were still booked on it and as such we wouldn't receive a refund. Having gone to the trouble of booking time of work/getting dog sitter etc, we decided to take the flight anyway, however after 4 HOURS of loveholidays "live chat" service and them REPEATEDLY LYING about the booking details and cancellation, and refusal to escalate to management or provide a phone number to call, love holidays REFUSED TO GIVE US THE EMAIL ADDRESS USED TO MAKE OUR FLIGHT BOOKING and as such we couldn't take the flight, even though we'd paid for it and were booked onto it. In the end we re-booked the outbound flight and managed to obtain the email address used to make the booking from Ryan Air once we got to the airport (not our email address as loveholidays repeatedly claimed, but one RANDOMLY GENERATED by them). We ended up booking the (same) hotel directly at the airport, and taking the holiday love holidays had failed to provide us. They have left us out of pocket and meant that our relaxing holiday started with a whole host of unnecessary stress. We have no idea why loveholidays would have cancelled the holiday. The only thing I can come up with is that they wanted our money in their bank account (they tried to offer us vouchers for the hotel refund). I understand that travel companies are struggling at this time, but so are the rest of us. We had gone to great lengths to organise a safe holiday in a stressful time. There is no excuse for taking advantage of us for their own gain.

I have a package holiday booked to Mexico for 23rd Oct 20 and have been advised by the flight provider of changes to flight times. On looking at the changes we realised that the connection flight departed before the first flight arrived and therefore made the journey impossible. We contacted the flight provider who informed us that there were no alternate flights available but would only refund costs via Love Holidays. We have been trying to contact Love Holidays since July to discuss alternatives but they have been uncontactable until today where we have been informed that although the flights do not connect we will still be charged and if we choose not to take the flights and cancel the flight charges will not be refunded. We are at a loss about how we can talk to someone/ anyone and get a common sense solution as the impossible flights will cost us in excess of £2000. Useless company with a useless website and impossible call service.

A terrible company !!.... If I could give minus stars I would. Firstly, They will sell you a holiday that you probably cant go on. In my case, they cancelled me a day after i paid the full balance, I am still waiting for thousands back 3 months later. Secondly, You will find it impossible to speak to anyone for resolution. They have stopped their phone lines and the only way you can contact them is via online chat, which either keeps you on hold for an average of 16 hours, or you cant get on it in the first place. Lastly, they have now taken themselves off the ABTA membership, which essentially makes it more difficult for customers to get their refunds back. Make no bones about it, thats a despicable way to treat customers and to be in business. I could go on for pages and pages of how downright terrible these people are but but it stresses me out, as it already has done over the last 12 weeks. Unfortunately, foreign travel over the next year or so will be dodgy at best, so keep hold of your money until its right. Hopefully this horrible company will be no longer, but keep an eye out for what name they restart with and avoid

Terrible!!! Sold us a “package” holiday to Turkey in October 2020. Once the UK travel advice changed to against all but essential travel, Love Holidays informed us that we potentially could cancel, but recovering flight cost (c. 750) is our problem. After that they had a nerve to say that their admin fees are non refundable. Lesson learned. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Scam scam scammers ... Do NOT book with them ... It is a scam, you will loose your money. I made a reservation in August 2020, and the trip is scheduled for November 28, 2020 ... Out of curiosity I looked for the reviews after I booked obviously and they were bad, I knew something was wrong. Then I decided to cancel the reservation on September 30, 2020 ... Now they say that my trip is in less than 28 days ( Is a Lie, is in 2 months) and the message say that they will not refund the money ... When I call, is the same recorder message, nobody ever answers, when I send messages through the page they DO NOT respond and when you use the Chat the message is the always the same ... DO NOT use this website ... It's a fake.

As already described by others, LoveHolidays have been entirely wanting in connection with cancelled holidays, but in particular the flight refunds. They currently maintain at least in my case that they are waiting on my refund from Ryanair first - but Ryanair refunded them nearly 3 weeks ago. I know this because linked to my booking were some additional seat change fees that I paid for separately. I noted the refund of these several weeks ago and received an email from Ryanair advising the refund had now been repaid. Ryanair was able to provide me with the references used for the entire booking upon request and this confirmed two separate payments were recorded (one for the original seats and another for the seat changes). One of the credit card details matched a card in my possession so I've got a clear link between refund and payment card, but interestingly the second reference was not to the one that I originally booked with but to a completely different card number that I did not recognise. I was confused by this but after reviewing the earnest pleas from Ryanair in relation to this it seems LH probably took my original payment directly but then paid Ryanair with a different card - so despite their protestations to the contrary, my contract for services was most definitely with LH and is not negated by them advising me they just act as a go-between, who need to recoup their payment upon my behalf first. It’s one contradiction after another on the chat service. I’ve sought transcipts of conversations but they never materialise and I've even experienced one agent telling me the other is simply wrong. Whatever is going on here seems incredulous and wholly unethical. Initially, like many, I had listened to LH protestations about non payment from Ryanair, but to be honest I’m now of the opinion this is an exercise in trying to deflect legitimate responsibility. They are a package organiser – or online travel (OTA) despite what they may now be claiming (at least they certainly were when I booked) but continue to shirk their duties and responsibilities here. From the outset they have delayed processes, waited for customers to pay before then cancelling holidays almost immediately, illegitimately blamed others for the problems, and now highlight the credibility of their own staff who seem to be turning on each other. If LH do read this please start to act ehtically and morally - you owe it to your customers but also your own staff. You are a business, but many individuals are struggling with financial issues that you could help alleviate.
