Received an email advising our holiday was cancelled due to covid , 48 hours prior to departing. After 8pm so couldn’t contact until the following morning. Got through on live chat to be informed our hotel was shut because of covid. What they wasn’t aware of we had contacted the hotel directly prior to live chat and knew The hotel was OPEN and was in fact full! They still had our reservation and because we had booked our flights separately, we once again secured our room. We informed live chat of this and they were adamant that the hotel was shut. We argued the point and in the end the operative said...oh yes sorry our mistake! You can go ahead with your holiday, enjoy . We checked in fine but the following morning had a note from reception advising we contact them immediately. Love holidays cancelled our room! We had to pay the full amount again. Because we were now on holiday we were able to speak on the telephone with a love holidays advisor...eventually after a further 24 hours they paid the bill and we got our refund. Now, you would think the story would end there but no. We had a party of 9 people coming to join us 4 days later...guess what? Yes, they had exactly the same problem even though they all contacted love holidays prior to departure informing them of our plight so it didn’t happen to them. I would never use this company again, they caused undue stress for several days of our holiday and our friends. My question is this...how many holidays have they cancelled and blamed covid? When there actually isn’t a problem at all. Not all people would check and they would assume the information is correct, they would then be issued a credit note which is not worth the paper it’s written on, allowing love holidays to keep their hard earned money!! Absolutely disgusting!!

Was due to go away in May, the holiday was cancelled the day after they took the final payment, been trying to get a refund from them ever since, they told me that I had to claim directly from Ryanair even though they knew they had paid them and Ryanair wouldn't talk to me, they then said they were waiting for a refund from Ryanair, Ryanair gave me evidence that they had paid the refund to them 5 weeks previously, they still denied it, launched a small claims court and hey presto a week later they pay up, just waiting for the refund of the court fees and interest but I will never book through them again.

Worst organization and refund department I have ever dealt with on holiday booking. 5 hours online hold for chat, no money returned or refunded and work independent of airline and hotel which supposedly they 'booked for us' it is a shambles and comedy of errors. never again!

Avoid do not use this company booked to go to majorica in may they cancelled due to covid got a credit note for hotel and managed to get money back for flights but then when used part of credit note for a weekend away they used the whole of the 800 voucher for 200 weekend away refusing to issue new voucher. Plus to add to stress when went on weekend hotel had not been paid and were expecting us to pay luckily they worked it out with love holidays before we left so didn't have to pay again but not happy that they are refusing to refund our 600 pounds stating now that my holiday wasn't a package though I booked all together.

Never again will we book with them again. Our holiday was cancelled due to covid in March. We paid all our money to this company so as far as. we are concerned our contract is with them. Still 7 months later we have not had our flight refund. They won't give us our refund and are saying they can't till Ryanair give it to them. As far as we know they had all our money and they booked the flight. Now all that time gone we have not had a refund from either Ryanair or love holiday. We cannot trust love holiday again and can't book with them till we get all our money back. Very disappointed

Hi have not received my flight refund from June and airline says they have refunded love holidays have been in contact several times and they still have not refunded me each time I get in contact I am told something different customer service terrible. I had used them before and they were fine but during COVID terrible

Live chat not available closed my e mails with them without checking o was happy tell me to raise a ticket for refund not available. Live chat not available robbers don't book

Hi everyone, I booked a holiday with them. Payed in advance. When we arrived at the destination we've been informed that the collaboration with the agency is cancelled because the agency haven't payed them. After long hours I managed to contact them and they offered to fix the problems. The hotel told me that the problems are fixed and they offered me 2 rooms coz the apartment I've booked was already booked by someone else. After 2 months I received an invoice to pay 2000 for amending the booking. It wasn't me who decided, so is not my problem. I will try to get some legal advice and I will ask for compensatios. This company is a fraud.

This company are frauds. They will take your money and not give it back. Please do not book with them. I have lost my money from the flights as they cancelled a holiday where the flights were still running so easyjet have refused to refund me. Love holidays even kept the taxes from the flight even though they should have refunded them to me.

I have been trying to get our flight refunded from love holidays since march as we had our holiday cancelled due to covid .I was told at first to contact the airline for the refund ,which I did ,they said love holidays airline agents will have to call them because it's a third party booking having told love holidays this I am still waiting . I have chatted with them five times and spoke to iceland air who have told me it's there to be refunded ,so I know it's there. As I write this my partner is reading reveiws with many people being told the same flannel as me by love holidays so come on love holidays man up and give the hard working people there money back which is theirs not yours and stop hiding behind the supposedly inefficiency of the airlines I'm behind Brian Curtis and his reveiw let's collectively take this company to court in this case more is stronger

In the begin of April my trip was cancelled due to Covid-19 issue and Loveholidays said money refund will be happened in two weeks time, 21 April 2020 .. However I did not yet receive my money (today is 15 October) In summary I have been having daily contacts with Loveholidays support team and each time it is a different answer and at the end nobody are helping or working in my refund. I am able to say that because after finish a call or chat, the loveholidays employee said everyone was requested and do not worries... when I called again, the next time .. I asked how is my refund process and the answer is " Did not yet start, I am doing now for you" .. Ridiculous and unbelievable. I am very disappointed with Loveholidays, not because refund it self (money), because how this company has been doing with me, without any support. Everyone had minimum one issue due to Covid-19, I had more the ten, however all companies were honesty and friendly with me, sending the true history and had a commitment date to provide my refund. In can image, after 180 days (6 months) I just finish now the chat and I do not have any idea of date when I will receive the refund. I asked to speak with the leadership and the support answer was "Loveholidays leadership is not able to speak with customer". Based on that, Loveholidays NEVER more and I really not recommend this company for anyone person in this planet.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If I could have selected zero stars I would have. Love Holidays are one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with in my life. The customer service I have received while trying to secure a refund for flights has been dreadful and I've been made out to be a liar, despite providing more than sufficient evidence from both the airline and Love Holidays themselves, that I had requested a refund. Anyone thinking of using this lot, please go elsewhere.

Have been trying to get my dep't back from L/Holls But its like getting blood out of a stone. I have left them 10 messages to them but they have not had the decency to reply. Our Flights have been cancelled 4 weeks ago. With VY1261. L/Holls are saying that they have no record of this. And the final payment will be taken soon. I have just found out that the hotel that they book us will not be open until march 20/21 What a shambles. Looks like I will have to take them to small clams court. I was on chat yesterday fore over 2 hrs when I got on there She told me that because she was training she must pass me to some one with more Esperance. And she did this and it said you are the 28 in the Q. I just could not believe this is happening to us. Love Holidays should not be trading. Warning to all. Stay away from them. Take them to court get your money back and don't give up. I have also put proof of the cancelation with photos. In case l/holls is there Looking at this massage my b/ref is LOV2049667U. Mr R. Beniest

Terrible company, truly. 5 month after we were meant to travel, still not refund. Staff is rude and extremely difficult to reach. Any notion of remorse from the company is false and performative. Take your money elsewhere.

Do not deal with Loveholidays.com! I had to cancel my booking for France due to the Belgian government. I was not allowed to travel due to COVID-19. I contacted Loveholidays and they told me I don’t get a refund nor a voucher. When I asked to undo the cancel it wasn’t possible and I had to rebook, again. They don’t deserve a good review because all bookings are automated transactions. They show there true colors when there’s a situation, like COVID-19 and they fail to solve it. This is how you see that there business is only for the money! So don’t waste your time by booking at this site. So, i followed the feedback of "Stuart" and got nowhere. No mail adres exist and via live chat I got 0 answer nor solution. I booked in the 1st COVID-19 situation with Zenhotels and they refunded me 100% whitout questions asked. If they can do it then Loveholidays should also be capable to provide this service

After 3 months of pursuing a refund, I was told on 'live chat' today that it was up to me to get refund from airline and hotel! Apparently, LH, in their own words, are just an online agent and the contract is between us and the hotel/flight companies, so we need to apply for these refunds ourselves. They have slso withdrawn from ABTA so retrospective cases are now dropped!!Absolute disgrace!!! £3k out of pocket. One of their online agents clearly lied to me a couple of weeks ago to get rid of me by telling me it was being processed and we'd receive the money very shortly. Now, they don't have a record of that chat! I've screenshot all conversations and now going the legal route!!! They're still bloody trading!!😡 THIS IS THEIR REPLY AFTER CLEARLY STATING I HAD JUST BEEN ON LIVE CHAT!!!
