Can I leave 0 stars? They advertised a 4 star hotel with spa, fitness suite, sauna, tennis courts, table tennis, pool table, 3 swimming pools, top quality food, transfers to and from the airport. ALL LIES AND DECEPTION. The hotel resembled a bomb site broken steps, broken tiles, peeling wallpaper, cracking plaster, cigarette burns in the carpet. That’s not all - our room stank of cigarettes, the patio door broken and hanging off. Mould in the fridge, bare wires hanging out of electrical sockets, excrement on sheets and towels, the bed crawling with bed bugs. Two hours trying to contact the emergency number. We needed to be moved to another hotel. The response? Nothing to do with us, we can’t afford reps in resort so sort it yourself. No mechanism for complaints until you return home. After sending photos several times because they keep losing them they offered compensation ———————£36. Well, not offered, just tried to pay into my bank account and force me to accept. CON MEN, CROOKS AND SCAMMERS. No wonder ABTA won’t deal with them now.

It would probably be easier to say what went right than list everything that went wrong! I have used loveholidays multiple times in the past years, however it seems you don’t realise the true customer services support until you have a problem. Which we did! It has now been over 40 days since I submitted a formal complaint to Loveholidays, which included detailed bullet points and photographic evidence. Unfortunately, their customer service has been inconsistent and unproductive. I don't believe I've spoken to the same representative twice, and I've found myself repeatedly explaining my situation. During our stay at the resort, I encountered a serious issue when I called the emergency line due to the presence of black mould in the pool, which posed a significant risk to my health, given my lung disease. To my horror, I was informed that there was nothing they could do to assist me or move me. Additionally, it took 40 days for me to receive a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR). Loveholidays has also been unable to provide any reports or dates related to their last visit to the resort where we stayed. This is likely because, during our time there, we were informed that Loveholidays hadn't visited in what seemed like a long time, if ever. While Loveholidays appears to be placing the blame on the hotel, I hold them accountable as the sales representative for the package holiday, and the entity to whom we entrusted our payment.

Holiday in Turkey in December 2024 My father had asked me to buy a Holiday, so we can travel to Turkey in December 2024.  However Community Matron from London Borough of Redbridge had advised my father and myself, (after I have already bought the Holiday Package) that my father is not capable to travel anywhere, as my father is dependent of constant Oxygen Supply. I was advised by Travel Agency - "Love Holiday" Customer Advisor, that if I will not pay the Full Cancellation Fee, the Legal Team from "Love Holiday" will sue me.  So I have paid £407.78 to settle the cancellation process. Also I have paid Wizz Air £215 (39kg excess luggage fee) and £48 (sitting together at the plane with my father). These money (£215+£48) were not refunded to me by Wizz Air. Love Holidays advised me to contact Wizz Air regarding (£215+£48). Wizz Air advised me to contact Love Holidays regarding (£215+£48). So in total I have lost £407.78+£215+£48=£670.78 for the Holiday, which was booked in December 2024. The Holiday was booked for 16.12.2024 till 31.12.2024. I just wanted to get my money back as per Consumer Rights Act 2015. I am British Citizen and I pay my taxes in full every year. Kind Regards Aleksandr Targanov

Wrong times advertised. Wrong baggage stated; so pay more, when you book in with airline. Wrong rooms when you arrive ( at stupid o'clock, so you can't do anything until the morning. Can only chat with a bot. The list is endless! Second time with these, thought I would have learnt!

We booked a holiday at the Hollywood mirage in Tenerife and on the 2nd night of our stay our hotel room was broken into and we were robbed This was a very distressing and disturbing event as we were in bed (duplex room ) What is more concerning is it is a common problem at this hotel and the rooms are very easy to break into Even more concerning is the total disregard for guest safety and total lack of customer service from the hotel management and love holidays

I’ve always used Love Holidays and never had any issues—until recently. Two weeks ago, I made a new booking, but due to an error with my iPhone, my surname was incomplete on the booking. I noticed it immediately and contacted the agency for help. Their response was extremely disappointing. I was told I needed to pay £307 to amend the name, which included £282 as an airline fee and £25 as an agency fee. Curious, I reached out to the airline directly, and they informed me that they don’t charge for name corrections. However, because I purchased the ticket through Love Holidays, the agency had its own fees. This really shook my trust in the company. What frustrated me the most was the complete lack of understanding or flexibility from the agency. They didn’t show any empathy or attempt to make the process easier. When I asked if I could pay the fee in installments, I was told no—everything had to be paid upfront. I’m deeply disappointed with how this was handled. If you want to avoid these kinds of issues, I suggest booking directly with the airline or finding another agency. The airline doesn’t charge for minor corrections, despite what Love Holidays claimed. The £282 “airline fee” for adding a surname is absolutely ridiculous.

We recently went on a city break to Prague with private transfer but we had to share with another couple squashed 3 across the back seat of a small car. Not a big issue but asked for a partial refund to reflect this was not a private transfer. I provided the mobile number if the driver but just stone walled and said the company told them it was not shared. Presumably they are continuing to use a company that do not admit the truth!

I’ve used Love Holidays a number of times without issue, but my recent experience has been an absolute nightmare. I booked a holiday quickly based on a marketing “payday deal” and later realized that the hotel had very poor reviews. Within 3 hours, I attempted to change the hotel, only to find that the price shown on the website was £300 cheaper than what I was quoted in their portal. When I asked about this, I was told that new customers get a cheaper rate, and there was nothing they could do about it—I would have to pay an extra £600 if I wanted to change the hotel. Frustrated, I decided to cancel the holiday just 18 hours after booking, which was 11.5 months before the travel date. Despite this, Love Holidays wanted to charge me £380 in non-refundable fees. This is even more outrageous considering I had cancelled the flight directly and secured a full refund for them. The customer service team was polite but robotic, offering no real solutions. They kept pointing to obscure and ambiguous terms and conditions. When I asked to speak to the cancellations team by phone, they instead sent an email, giving me a 24-hour deadline to respond or else my cancellation request would be cancelled and I would be liable for the full cost of the holiday. I feel completely scammed and let down by Love Holidays. I had to cancel my bank card just to ensure they couldn’t take any unauthorised payments. What should have been a simple booking has turned into a stressful ordeal. I won’t be using them again.

We booked a two week self catering holiday, with bars and restaurants in the complex only to be told all amenities except the pool closed for the season two days after arriving. Hardly anyone else there. There was nothing in the info warning of this. 3km walk to nearest shop / restaurant / life. Too dark dangerous to walk at back at night. There is so much more to add but as we got no help when we contacted love holidays what is the point. However we will be taking this further

Picked out holiday. Paid up front. No email confirmation. When we phoned this company to ask whereour confirmation was we were told to wait 72 hours which we wasn’t happy about. Then told our holiday wasn’t available anymore! They wanted to offer us another. As it was less than24 hours after booking said we was going to get onto our bank. We phoned bank and our total amount was paid back in . Thank goodness! This company is so unprofessional. Please DO NOT use them.

No customer care, the hotel did not match the description of the hotel, my sister and myself are in our 60s so my sister daughter phoned love holidays to complain and ask for us to be moved, nobody came to see us or check out the place we were staying in, the food was appalling and to top that we spotted a cockroach crawling over the food, when we complained to management we was told we were scamming them, again her daughter tried to talk to love holidays to get us moved and nothing not even a phone call. Absolute disgraceful way to treat customers and will be taking this further, love holidays and the hotel both let us down.

You are not a cheap Travel Firm, by the time us travellers add on Hold Luggage, Transfers it would be cheaper to fly with Jet2 All Inclusive. And the Hotel booked through you should be down graded to 1 Star. The food was so disgusting and of poor choice, no wonder you have no Agents staying there. This is the worst Holiday I have ever been on, I would of had better food camping. El Mouradi club selima in Tunisia, my children and I could not stomach the food, or could the rest of the group I travelled with.

The issue that I have experienced was: We got to Enfidha Airport on flight (K7G2SDV) today the 26th of September 2024. On Getting to the airport and walking to the HoppaGo Transfer desk, we were told that our transfer that we had paid Love Holiday for as part of our package with transfer booking ref: R1978363 was cancelled by Love holidays. We contacted the emergency contact on our booking that says we should contact transfer firm in case of emergency (216 36 369 000) which we did, and we were told that Love holidays cancelled our transfer to our hotel Iberostar Averroes and that we should contact love holidays. We were left stranded in a strange country without any email or contact from love holidays to inform us about this cancellation ahead of time. Please note that the holiday was fully paid for. We had no cash on us. Having looked at the booking package, which says to contact love holidays on +44 1233 800490. This call cost us £4.21/min. We spoke to the customer service at love holidays for 17 mins who was unable to help us and basically told us to find our own way despite owning that there was miscommunication between them and Emira travels. His solution was that we find money to pay our transfer fees ourselves. He said we should send an email for call logs and taxi transfer invoices despite the fact that they love holiday already agreed that the mess they left us in was their fault we ended up paying £110 for a cab ride after spending 4 hours at the airport stranded.

We have just returned from Venice and had the worst experience imaginable due to Love Holidays lies and incompetence. We were due to stay from Saturday 21st to Tuesday 24th September. We had booked two rooms at the hotel Tintoretto: one for me and my fiance and one for my dad. When we arrived to check in, the hotel only had a booking for my dad's room. We showed the receptionist our booking confirmation email from Love Holidays, which clearly showed that we had booked two rooms. The hotel were adamant that they only received a booking for one room. The hotel was fully booked so there was no available room for me and my fiance. We phoned Love Holidays straight away and were told to give them two hours for their emergency team to find alternative accommodation. Two hours passed and we had heard nothing so called them again. We were told yet again that their emergency team were still trying to find alternative accommodation and to be patient. They assured us they would call us back within 90 minutes. They never did. Phoned them back again and once more, were told that they were dealing with things. By this time, we had spent our first afternoon in Venice on and off the phone, feeling very anxious about the potential of having nowhere to stay. This totally ruined the first day of our holiday and caused a lot of upset to my elderly dad. We phoned again to find out the office was closed for the weekend and we had nowhere to stay. After several hours searching for alternative accommodation, we managed to find a room for the night at a cost of £790. On the same day, we also found out that our flights home 3 days later were cancelled due to strikes at Marco Polo airport. There were no flights home with Ryanair, who our flights were originally with through Love Holidays, until the end of the week, so we had to book flights home a day early with Jet2, another expense of over £900. My dad then had to pay for a room at his hotel for the second night for me and my fiance. All in all we spent only two days in Venice, spent £2000 that we shouldn't have had to spend and feel a total lack of confidence that Love Holidays will refund us the full amount of the holiday, plus reimburse us for the two hotel rooms we had to book and pay for and the extra flights we had to arrange. Communication with Love Holidays has been frustratingly difficult and to top it all off, they have conveniently deleted our booking from their app.

Please don't use this company! I don't know how is this company still running! We bought hotel+flight package deal and paid full amount. Then one of us can't make it so we found another friend to replace me, because not only the flight, the hotel is also not non-refundable. Then the nightmare started! It took more than 2 weeks for them to "change the lead passenger and replace the 2nd passenger with a new passenger" - which basically only need a new flight ticket. And for all the time they tried to increase for the PAID hotel! Till the end I had to give them an example that "if you already purchased an item and next day you go back to the same shop and this item's price gone up, can the staff ask you for more money? No! Because you already bought it!!" and they just kept saying "prices are subject to change as per the availability", perhaps they think everyone is an idiot or sth? For the cancelled flight, I have to phone the supplier myself, then the airport tax and fees if any will be refund to loveholidays, then I have to contact loveholidays again to check the amount and ask them to refund the money to my account. What a joke! And any change you do, they charge you service charge on top of Supplier's charge. Honestly, please, everyone, don't choose this company, it is expensive, it is time consuming, it kills your holiday mood, and they aren't able to provide any professional and useful information, and they are not supportive or helpful! Oh, by the way, it's been over 2 weeks since I contacted them for refund, and my friends already came back from this holiday, but I still haven't received my refund.

DO NOT PURCHASE INSURANCE THROUGH LOVE HOLIDAYS AS IT WON'T BE VALID. I'm writing to make a form complaint and request a refund, as I need medical treatment and was unable to use Rush insurance, which I purchased through Love Holidays. I was given a referance number given from my first phone call with a nice lady, and I was told to call back with the treatment price. When i rang back with the price, a man at Rush Insurance said they dony support Love Holidays and that our insurance wasn't valid!!!!! I purchased Rush Insurance through Love Holidays website! Can't wait to touch down in the UK tomorrow, and I'll be straight to urgent care. Regards Amy
