We booked at holiday in jan 2020 to take our 3 yr old grandson away to Majorca, then the coronavirus pandemic hit. We fully understood that we would not be going by March as our holiday was 1st April. Everywhere was on lockdown and rightly so. I tried to contact Love holidays many many times to no effect, all I got was fobbed off by email or live chat. I requested a refund but was refused, offered vouchers was the best they could do. I want a refund, legally I was entitled to a refund but was always denied. I booked my holiday on my credit card and had to a charge back under section 75 and finally got a refund from the bank. I will never use this company again, they don’t play by the rules, legally or morally, they’re a disgrace. Russ Knowles

Booked a holiday with them to Tenerife. The Flights were cancelled by Tui Airlines due to coronavirus. It took love holidays over a month to finally cancel our holiday. In the meantime, they removed all forms of contact to the company. They weren’t available on telephone, you’d get stock responses via social media (if they bothered to respond at all) and never replied to any of my emails. Finally got a message via their Facebook wall that informed me that I had to contact Tui directly for them to refund my money even though my contract was with love holidays!. Managed to get through to Tui who confirmed that my flights had been refunded to love holidays that day. It took love holidays another 3 weeks to refund the flights but I’m still waiting for the final £800 for my accommodation. Finally got an email today to ask me to ring an automated telephone number to confirm that I want a refund. Rang the number to be informed it could take another 8 weeks for my refund to be processed!!!! Arghhh, what an absolute joke. I know times are hard for these multinational companies but we’re all struggling at the moment. Will never use them again.

They are still holding £3k of my money from a holiday cancelled in April. After 2 months of getting nowhere I eventually spoke to someone on 1st June who said they were not a package operator (WTF?) and that I had to sort airline refund with easyjet. He read me some script about the payment of the balance of the refund full of caveats and then said they would process refund. The next say i had email saying they would refund my card within 5 days. Needless to say that hasnt happened. Since then I havent been able to contact them. Absolutely corrupt and I assume they are kicking the can down the road hoping ATOL will bail them out. Disgrace.

love holidays worst company that i have ever dealt with owes me 2k never received a penny back from our joke of a holiday cancelled flight hotel on lockdown bunch of liars and dishonest crooks,

Booked a package holiday with love holidays. Cancelled due to covid 19 was due to travel 15th April holiday cancelled in March. 3 months later no refund received. Been passed from pillar to post and received endless emails all of which either useless or obstructive. No sign of when I’m gonna get my money. Customer service appalling will never book with this company again

Having used them several times before I was happy booking with them early this year. They are refusing to refund my cancelled flights for 10 months as that is the terms they have with the airline, and they say that are only an intermediary.

bankruptcy delay tactics....... Like every other honest bad review on this site I am still having trouble getting my refund from this failing company. I have been advised so many times that someone would be in touch within 3 days that I have stopped counting. My mystery email which was due to arrive 30 days after requesting a refund obviously did not arrive. Can anyone at LH tell me why I need this email containing a number to contact the refunds team to tell them what I told them in the first place I WANT A FULL CASH REFUND...its not difficult. I understand from others who have got the magic number that nobody actually answers it so whats the point. I keep getting told I can have my flight refund, which they have requested from airline, when they receive it and will then have to wait up to another 28 days. I keep telling them I have actually received it direct from the airline ...they don't seem to understand this ...they are wasting their time I have to wait til they get my money back from hotel chain........who actually have not been paid for my booking yet!! I have to wait in a refund queue by departure date but they have no idea what date they are up to in the chain. We are all aware that this company do not have the funds available to give everyone their money back but they continue to use delaying tactics pending some sort of financial miracle No doubt, as before ,I will receive a copy and paste response from someone paid to mitigate all these abysmal reviews when their time could be better spent pressing a few refund buttons. If the company ceases to trade due to customer dissatisfaction then they will not get their wages either.!!

The hotel I booked are offering free cancellations. Love holidays are refusing to return the money. I contacted the hotel and they said the refund must go through Love Holidays. Warning you can not contact this company. Their chat line does not exist. I would never use this company again. I feel I am being ignored and robbed by them. This is a warning to every holiday maker.

Jet2 have cancelled my flights booked through Loveholidays with whom I have booked hotel etc. Jet2 have confirmed they have processed the refund to Loveholidays and despite leaving three messages on their manage my booking process I have not had any contact. Our holiday was due to start in less than 2 weeks. I fully appreciate that this is a difficult time, however, Loveholidays are not helping themselves or their customers by not talking to them. I'd be happy to discuss options rather than just demand a refund but only if I can speak to someone. I suspect they will go bust if they continue to ignore their customers! Shambles, avoid.

I really did not want to leave a review at this time as we have used LoveHolidays several times in the past and their customer service has been nothing short of excellent, that and considering the huge problems they must be facing with regard to Covid19. However I don't like to be lied to and I don't like the non communication which I feel sure could have been avoided with some proper planning earlier on ... As it is I have LoveHolidays telling me one thing and Tui telling me the complete opposite being that as LoveHolidays took my money for a package deal then they should reimburse me in full ... Surely as I understand the law this must be so ... TUI told me that LoveHolidays pay for the TUI flight element with their company credit card and as such TUI would need to refund LoveHolidays and not me ... Makes perfect sense to me so why do they tell me to sort out the refund myself with TUI ... Only to stall the process I would say but I will also say this ... I will get my money back in full by hook or by court ! ... Please sort it LoveHolidays and at least keep your customers informed ... Its better than winding everyone up into a frenzy because they/we don't know what's going on and you have their/my hard earned cash !!

Avoid this company at all costs. Even in these difficult times they are unhelpful and belligerent. I have a £2600 Holiday to attend a wedding in Cyprus who are not letting Brits in. They will not change the dates or cancel with refund. Bunch of thieves. Elena on their chat was rude and officious. Totally couldn't care less. Avoid like the plague.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE .. ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY YOU REALLY ARE ON YOUR OWN... DUE TO THE COVID 19 ALL PHONE LINES DOWN & ALL EMAILS IGNORED.. £3000 GONE...

Paid in full for a package holiday early July flights were cancelled by airline weeks ago no response to my emails or messages what a sham company using my bank now to recover the £3000
