I worked at Lowes about five years ago and I started at Lowes on College Park Drive, Conroe, TX. I needed a part time job and I previously enjoyed working there. Boy has it changed. First you are treated and talked to like you are crap. I was running late one day and I called in and spoke with a Head Cashier who said it was all right. I got to the store and saw another Head Cashier and she said you were supposed to be here... The head cashier I has already spoke to interrupted and said He called in. She then told me she (the other head cashier) was about to let you have it. So there is no communication. Another time I was sent to the garden center where at times it is extremely hot (later I found out this is where they send cashiers they don't want to be bothered with) I relieved a young lady for lunch who had been out there all morning. She asked me to let the head cashiers know she had been out there all day. When I told the head cashier that she said "She don't run nothing she's going back out there. So that shows how they treat their subordinates. So you would think they would have their stuff together NOT!!. One manager left to go to another store. I came in several times and commented to the head cashier that we were low on bags. It eventually got to where they had to go to Office Depot to purchase bags... I know this because that is my other part time job and I rang up the order. This was two months after the manager left, two months and no one took it upon themselves to check into getting some bags. I have to add this also when a cashier needs help they are told to call a number to get a head cashier. I have called the number several times with no answer, so I walk up to the customer service area to get help and then I get yelled at for leaving my register. The head cashier that was getting ready to tear me a new one was in a cashier meeting sitting on the floor wrapped up in a blanket sleeping. Someone really to look up to. At this point if I had a choice of going back to Lowes or living in a cardboard box I would choose the cardboard box. Rating would have been a zero if I could have left that rating.

If only ZERO stars were an option! Do not go to Lowes for windows! I ordered my 29 windows in Sept 2021 - installation to ge completed by late November. Finally 26 out of 29 windows installed week of Christmas however due to an order mishap, the last 3 were installed in April. AND Here we are 3rd week of May 2022 and I’m still waiting for 14 windows to be wrapped. I’ve spoken to several Lowes installation reps who make empty promises … I’ve had friends build new homes quicker. Lowes is a joke!!!

I ordered a fridge, not knowing lowes used a sketchy third party delivery company. They guys coming to my home looked a mess and were very unprofessional. My request for them to wear a mask has led me to still not having a fridge. this is day 3 now of my families suffering. I asked them to mask up before entering my home, they asked why and told me they didnt have mask on there truck. I told them store was right up the street they could get some there. I told them COVID and Flu is out here and I didn't want to risk my family getting sick because we have an upcoming vacation and I needed to protect my home. They called their manage and she called me telling me covid is non existent and she doesn't require them to wear mask at all. I explained to her I have to protect my family and wether or not it is required by there company it my home and my preference its required by me. She then contacted Lowes and told them I said my family had covid and they will not deliver the fridge. Day 2 I was told my fridge would come today, and before deliery Tim W. with Lowes called me and told me that they will not eliver because they werre told my family has covid. I explained to him what happened and that was not the case he then had me contact Amy Long (belleville east Lowes) I talked to her and explained what the situation was. She was very inconsiderate of the fact that my family and I are still without a fridge, and basically said there was nothing they could do I need to call the third party company. Why do I need to contact them I purchased a fridge with Loew not the third party company. I paid lowes not the third party company. I asked her how would she feel if all she was doing was trying to protect her family and was treated this way all because I requested them to wear a mask before entering my home. Her reply was I can give you your refund there's no need to come up here for it. Are you serious!!!! the is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company and I was a loyal customer of lowes until now. How could you all even have dealings with a third party company that does not respect people preferences. This says a lot about the cooporation and who is running things. And we still have no fridge all because I asked the sketchy delivery men to mask up before entering my home.

If I could give zero stars, I would. We signed a contract in September 2021 for the purchase and installation of windows and sliding glass doors. The estimated date of delivery was January 2022. When January arrived, the date was perpetually pushed back. Some of the product was delivered mid-March and the installation process began March 30. The subcontractors installed 2 sliding glass doors improperly (they have failed inspection) and left 3 inch gaps in our stucco surrounding the sliders. The subcontractors also installed a large bay window which they either cracked the frame of while installing or installed a damaged product. Because Lowe's is the permit runner, Lowe's is responsible for contacting the inspector to do a partial inspection in order to move forward with finishing this project--Lowe's never did. I was told repeatedly that because of the way the permit is written, they could not have a partial inspection completed. Finally, after a month of exposed stucco and improperly installed product, I spoke with my municipality personally. The inspector was at our home in less than 24 hours. Lowe's NEVER even tried to help with this part of the process and LIED over the phone. Following the inspection, I was the one left responsible for getting the inspection report to the subcontractors because apparently Lowe's doesn't care at all about their customers. Now the subcontractors are dragging their feet to come fix the damages and failed items. This is not a supply issue now, this is negligence. Lowe's cannot tell us when the rest of our product will arrive or when we will have the damages repaired. We are looking into any and all legal options at this point to remedy the situation. DO NOT HIRE LOWE'S FOR WINDOW AND DOOR INSTALLATION.

Was getting home repairs and upgrades done. Handyman preferred using lowes. Bad mistake on my part. They usually dont have a good promotion going but this time the store manager in abilene at ridgemont drive said sure you can get promotion up to 24 months. So great all set. Well come to find out they only allow 6 months no interest. Man was just too hard for the damn manager to tell me I would be charged 8% interest beyond the 6 months. Wont ever buy from lowes if i need a promotional period. They could care less about their customers who need to pay out and cant afford extra interest. I will stay with home depot from now on. I have charged items and been able to use the 18 month promotion without extra interest. Goes to show who cares about their customers. Plus the poor new employee at customer service couldnt get any help from the damn manager. He kept going to ask her how to do the computer task. She obviously doesn't care either about me or the guy just trying to learn his job. Home depot here I come for life. Wont buy so much as a light bulb from dumb ass lowes

there customer service lies to you, they dont follow up and they will not return your calls. i ordered fencing back in March, they first sent the wrong order to the installer, when he notified them they never got back to them, when they got that straightened out they promised delivery three times and it never showed up, so today i call them again and they left me on hold for 15 minutes just so i would drop off. Home Depot here i come.......

I bought a refrigerator and in the delivery they scracht the marble floor. They said that i fix it and the will send me the check. Almost 3 month and never pay. You can talk with nobody. Dont buy never in Lowes the worst company

I have a craftsman pressure washer used it 2 times and on the 3rd time it worked ruffle for 30 minutes and lost pressure and shots water out the detergent reservoir. Lowes said it’s a manufacturer warranty to call craftsman to get it fixed. Everyone craftsman sent me to refused to fix it!!! Lowes should back up what they sell. I am done with lowes

I paid cash in the amount of $4000 for and LG refrigerator from Lowes. After six months the ice maker has quit and I can't get LG or Lowes to honor any contracts for the purchase or to fix my refrigerator. When they did give a toll free number to contact LG, it routed me to a person in the Philippines. Lowes customer service is worse than horrible. And don't try to talk to management about a problem they know nothing. Oh, after a month and half of calling Lowes they offered me $427.00 to pay back my warranty.

I signed a contract with Lowes three months ago to have my house sided. Since that time, I have heard nothing from Lowes in Saugus, MA. I have called and emailed the salesperson and gone to the Saugus, MA store multiple times to no avail. The customer service is terrible. I am cancelling my contract with Lowes. Don't bother trying to get any installation services with this company - they are terrible.

Lowe's in thomaston Maine is the most scumbag as place to go they kept homeless people off that property for helping old people load their car they sure feel real good about themselves that's how you take care of your people in the neighborhood kick them off for being nice if I was you I would go to that lows go the one in Augusta they have no respect for people in need that is having it rough instead of kick them off

I am currently involved in the worst service I have ever been involved in. Lowe's seems incapable of getting anything right. We ordered storm windows over a year ago and they are still not installed properly. They have given me the run around that entire time. The store says call installation and vice versa. We ordered blinds 4 mos ago. We waited two months for them to come in then they sat on our porch for weeks before they came out to install. 5 min after the installer left the blinds fell! When I called the store and spoke to Justin, the assistant manager, he told me that if we installed them ourselves he could offer an upgrade or some help but since we paid them to do it there was nothing he could do. They supposedly reordered them the next day but it was another 2 mos before we were told they were in. The guy showed up to install yesterday but didn't have the blinds. The store said they didn't have them. The installer said he would find them and call me back. He said that he could come back today to install but surprise surprise no call. Today, after several phone calls, the store says they have them but the installer is closed. Meanwhile, we are living in a fishbowl with no blinds and windows that don't open and close correctly. The store is in Indian Harbour Beach and I will NEVER shop there ever again!!!!!!

Flooring not measure right flooring order not 👍 installer comes out flooring not right again leaves product in driveway for 2 weeks no installers for weeks. Don't recommend paying for their installs they won't come or install for a month or more AFTER your product is delivered

Lowes carpet installer’s showed up today and we got two hard working guys that installed the pad and carpet in about 2 hour. Turned out great and we are very happy. Thank you Lowes ❣️

Weeks ago i went to east Asheville Lowes with a simple drawing of a kitchen with no windows. Only one person working but took my drawing and said he would send me a drawing. Several phone calls and weeks later someone finally answers phone. Never heard of me, no surprise there . I called numerous times and left messages,either didn't answer or return any calls. Someone else will get my business.

I bought a whole house generator in April, 2021 & was told that I would have it installed by June/July 2021. In June I was contacted & told the date of installation would be August. In August, Lowes called to say it would be November. One day in August a truck showed up with my generator. They did not even call to let me know. Fortunately, I was home but not prepared to put it anywhere. I finally had them put it where it would be installed. I asked the installation would happen & they said November. I kept calling the installer & Lowes and nobody knew what was going on. I got so many excuses from both sides. Here it is Almost a year & it is still not completely installed. I have been lied to by the electrical company & Lowes. I was also supposed ti receive a small generator for installing the 22Kw generator but I’m told that the date has expired for that offer. I’ll never use Lowes for any installation ever again! I’m wondering if I’ll ever get my generator installed.
