“Excellent experience all the way around. I started with just MI in December to get my initial macros and then joined Nutritional Coaching on Feb 1st. I had a very good understanding of what I needed to do but just needed the fine tuning and support to get there. “I joined the Macros Inc. Facebook page about 10 weeks ago. After spending a week or two reading posts and seeing the support, I decided to take a chance with coaching. I answered some questions and was quickly paired with my coach, Sharon. We set up a video call and spent about an hour together. She was so easy, to be honest with about my struggles with losing weight and giving up on every trendy diet or exercise program out there. I told her I HATED exercising. She acknowledged that and asked that I at least give it a try. I'm learning the importance of protein, although I still struggle some days. I'm learning the importance of movement. “As I sit here reflecting on the last two years of my experience with Macros Inc. coaching, having been coached by two amazing coaches (Tahz and Jen) and several others during holidays, I have not enough words to explain how this has changed my life. I cannot say that it gave me my life back because that would be so inaccurate! It didn't give me my ''old'' self back, no! It gave me a whole new self with a much better life that has a sense of purpose, is healthy, and includes self-respect and self-love.

I may have only worked with Catherine for 3 months but what I learned from her in that time I will carry for life. “My main reason for getting coaching was to switch off my executive function for a while. I tend to overthink and change things at the slightest setback, and having external oversight helps get me on track even after coaching. The coach gives me the number, and I just dial them in, no thought required. And I must say this worked well with Macros.inc. I lost around 9kg and about 6cm from my waist.
With regards to the before and after photos posted, the lighting is very different which can't be helped, and the posture in the after photo is more dynamic, but I think the difference in waist size can be seen.”

“I’ve tried Noom.com, my fitness pal, a gym nutritionist and just doing it on my own, but with Micros I’ve truly learned. I’ve had issues with eating too much eating too little and not having a good relationship with food in general. I’d over eat with my highs and lows in emotions, I’d under eat with guilt the next day. This not only results in little progress in weight loss, but also no mental growth. With Micros Coach I’ve learned how to manage my calories in a way that I now know when I’m eating and triggered by emotions, when I’m ok to enjoy a meal with my boyfriend and when it’s ok to say no. Before Micros I didn’t say no because I now know I lean into pleasing others instead of taking care of my goals and staying on track. With micros I no longer feel guilt if I say no to fast food, or a drink at the bar. I stick to my goals and have lost 11 lbs.
