“I contacted M&S live chat regarding a pair of faulty Sophia Jeans. I explained that I was shielding and could not return the jeans. I was then given further contact details with the assurance that it was not a problem and I would receive a new pair by post and could return the faulty ones in the delivery packaging. I contacted their customer service, waited days for a reply. I then received an email which I promptly replied to and sent photos of the condition of the jeans. These brand new jeans are disgraceful ( inferior dye problems and fraying edges). They actually looked more like second hand. The emails went back and forth for a few weeks and then finally I was told that I would have to return them to store. I explained, AGAIN, that I have heart and kidney issues and could not do that. I was basically ‘fobbed off’ Then - no further response. Even though I tried to contact them again, my emails were simply ignored. I was led to believe the quality of these jeans were a ‘one off’, but have noticed that many others have also complained about the fabric quality. As a Marks and Spencer’s customer for many years I suddenly realised that customer loyalty no longer matters as far as Marks and Spencer’s are concerned, so...... sadly I will have to purchase both my husband’s and my clothing elsewhere. I have had to rate this one star because there was not an option for a ZERO.”

“Mark’s & Spencer at Imperial Park (Bristol) needs a serious look into from a area/regional manager!... surely when a store opens its doors for business, the shelves should be stacked ready for the customers and not have 10+ staff running around with stocking crates getting in one another’s way!?... it’s literally chaos, not to mention the health & safety negligent!, plus the 2mtr social distance rule is blown out of the water because everybody is bumping into each other trying to manoeuvre around all these crates?!?... it’s literally everyday this happens and it’s an absolute nightmare!!!... just split shift the staff and get the shelves stacked before you open... it’s not hard?!?”

“Have just had your valentine 2021 meal prawn cocktail beef bourginon followed by chorizo with chocolate Plus heart shape chocs and prosecco..want to say well done m&s really good food and what a bargain at 20 pounds worth every penny .absolutely delicious.”

“Got to be honest the m and s dine in meal was not up to its normal standard. The beef love parcel was more like dog meat than what I expected and the prawn cocktail was tiny with no lettuce. Totally disappointed!”

“I received a pair of straight leg jeans £27.65 last November, too big. Returned them through click and collect the following week and the refund has still not appeared on my m &s credit card. Very difficult to talk to anyone at m & s so will be shopping elsewhere and giving up my credit card if not refunded soon.”

“Had to return several items of my wife's lingerie clothing and a pair of my cord trousers. Their clothing quality is not so go these days and sizes seem to vary. Product designs and colours are often drab and best suited for town dwellers. Food quality is however high although a little pricey”

“Ordered goods from M&S free of charge. All arrived earlier than expected. Unfortunately I had to return a couple of items which was very easy and again free through Hermes. Good my refund through CC very quickly. Overall very happy and have placed a new order.”

“It's been 3 months and I have not received a refund on my gift card. So I bought some stuff from M&S using a gift card. the order number is: 301-0016594-1748586 M&S confirmed via email that a refund should be available back on my existing gift card. So it been three months have not received either a new gift card with the balance or a refund in an existing gift card. Poor service from M&S. Regards,”

“Bought a box of M&S Rope grown Scottish Mussels. On the box front states serves 2. Half pack provides 1.73g of salt. Turn over the box and it says 500g = (2 x 250g). The confusing issue here is it works out that half of each 250g pack has 1.73g of salt so the total overall is a whopping 6.92g of salt in this 'Healthy' meal. Beware, blood pressure.”

“My friend and I were at m&s at Newtownabbey, Belfast today, we just wanted to say how nice and helpful the staff were. We would like to give a special mention to Robert who was at the main entrance as we went in and couldn’t have done enough for us and also Andrea who helped us out as well, there were other members off staff as well but we didn’t get all there names, it was a pleasure to shop there , all because off these staff members, we will certainly be back”

“I live in the Isle of Wight which has an M & S store but because it is small, they never have a huge range of products. However, I wanted to buy a pair of their high waisted WIDE legged jeans. I ordered them online. Unfortunately there were only black available at the time. I ordered size 12 in long. They arrived and they fit perfectly although they could be a tad longer because I am 6' tall. Nonetheless, I am a wizard at coaxing another 1" by making a false hem. I would like now to buy a pair in the blue denim colour. For months now they have been out of stock. Unbelievably, there has been a huge reduction in the prices of the blue and the black WIDE legged jeans - which makes them even more attractive to buy. The question is why tantalise would be buyers with a super price offer if ALL the jeans in question i.e. every size and length and colour are OUT OF STOCK?? Some companies offer 'Back in Stock' alert if you supply them with an email address. Is this something M & S could offer? So.. in a nutshell, what made me happy? Answer, getting the black pair of WIDE legged jeans when I did - as I can see that they are nowpretty much like gold-dust for the majority of would be buyers. Incidentally, it has taken me a lot of trawling through the internet to find out an answer to my question "How can I post a review on M & S website"”
