“Bought some trousers from Birmingham High Street store a couple of weeks ago, which was made easy as was able to pay for them in the changing room as I had paid by card. Really pleased with these trousers. Today I received an email from M&S recommending what would go well with these trousers and it was a straw bag. Clicked on to view this bag and it was saying no-longer available, what is the point?”

“Very quick and easy to use the click and collect function for homeware. Collection area in store was easy to find and the whole process was quick. I was also kept well informed via email on the progress of the arrival of my delivery to the store.”

“I shop for food and clothing especially school uniform at M&S and for the most part would give everything 5*. However, I want to know why, when you purchase something for home delivery, they have to deliver so early! We received 3 gifts over the past few months for big birthdays, celebrations etc. They were all delivered on the day before 8am! I've just sent some flowers to someone that is receiving treatment for illness, I got a text around 6am to be told it would be delivered before 8am and could change, however, I was still asleep! I was horrified that my friend would be woken up so early!”

“I live in the Isle of Wight which has an M & S store but because it is small, they never have a huge range of products. However, I wanted to buy a pair of their high waisted WIDE legged jeans. I ordered them online. Unfortunately there were only black available at the time. I ordered size 12 in long. They arrived and they fit perfectly although they could be a tad longer because I am 6' tall. Nonetheless, I am a wizard at coaxing another 1" by making a false hem. I would like now to buy a pair in the blue denim colour. For months now they have been out of stock. Unbelievably, there has been a huge reduction in the prices of the blue and the black WIDE legged jeans - which makes them even more attractive to buy. The question is why tantalise would be buyers with a super price offer if ALL the jeans in question i.e. every size and length and colour are OUT OF STOCK?? Some companies offer 'Back in Stock' alert if you supply them with an email address. Is this something M & S could offer? So.. in a nutshell, what made me happy? Answer, getting the black pair of WIDE legged jeans when I did - as I can see that they are nowpretty much like gold-dust for the majority of would be buyers. Incidentally, it has taken me a lot of trawling through the internet to find out an answer to my question "How can I post a review on M & S website"”

“Staff usually well informed regarding directions to the goods required. However I find the quality of the clothing is not as good as in previous years. Too much imported from Bangladesh and other Eastern countries.”

“New Gastropub moussaka - flavour was ok but the whole thing was just sloppy on the plate, like soup. Moussaka should have some integrity and hold together. Aubergines were nice and there were no courgettes for cheapness as in the old moussaka but the potato slices were hard and undercooked. Sorry but won't buy this again:(”
