“Assistant at the til was pleasant and observant, noticing that I had chosen one bottle of wine on offer and one bottle that looked very similar but twice the price. She checked if that was correct and was happy to exchange the bottle for another of the offer wine.”

“Visited Your Marks and Spencer Shop In Barrow in furness on the 11/4/2019 just on the off chance that you had any ladies sandals that i liked. “Attended M and S wine tasting event at Sprucefield Lisburn on the 7/03/19. It was excellent,informative and enjoyable. Learnt a lot about wines,loved the pink champagne,visited the wine shop afterwards and probably spent too much! Looking forward to the next event.”

“In terms of clothing, this place used to be very good but recently they have dropped the quality on some items and started to go after the youth market. Let me tell you something: the youth market has no money and they will never buy clothes from you. Stick to the 35+ market and put the quality back to where it was and you will go back to the 'go to' place for Middle England, which is what you should be, and there is a lot of money in that market.”

“I have received one 3 seaters and one 2 seaters of Berkeley sofas today. I must said, M&S has an excellent delivery team, I have bought furniture from many other popular shops and some of them are very good but must say M&S delivery experts are outstanding, very polite, friendly, well handling of all the furnitures , and tidy everything before the leave your home. Must give a thumb up to all these people. Anyway, The reason I write about this sofas is because they are not as bad as other customers’ review. I have tried them in the shop and they met my requirements, reasonable price, good support; may be required cushion for extra comfort. I took the advice from the Salesman of the durable material, and they look great my living room. The cushions do puckered a bit, but this is normal as they are well packed and need to “rest” for few days before the shapes are back to normal, so we have to be a bit patient to these foam sofa, just like roll up memory foam Mattresses. They do smell a little bit, as I said, they are new, the foam need to air out for a certain time. Again we have to wait for a while before we get use to them. Don’t be put off by one or two reviews, give yourself a chance to try them out. Give a chance to M&S, it has established in UK and worldwide for many years, and there are many shops closed down on the high street, we certainly don’t want this to happen to M&S as it grows up with us in many generations. * I am not M&S staff or related to this shop , but just to express my comments in regards to all those negative reviews.”

“Tonbridge ,kent. I collected my large christmas food order yesterday. I was furious that the 2 turkeys i ordered were not included due to some mix up. Very angry and some what panicky i escalated to the section manager, yvonne and the store manager, gareth. They assured me that they would be able to rectify this by thd folloeing day. Well i am delighted to say they did! They contacted a larger local store with surplus stock and arranged that the 2 birds be collected and ready for me by 9.30am the following day. I appreciate things do go wrong. M&S being such a popular choice for so many shoppers what was great is that it was sorted promptly. Thanks all !”

“I ordered online for delivery in store. They gave me a text to tell me when to collect, it was on time and the person at the counter found it easily! My only gripe was that there were 3 items and each was in it's own sealed bag. The items inside were then in their own little bags (those clear ones). M&S have a real opportunity to make a difference with waste and this just felt a bit lazy of them. Anyway, after taking them home I realised I got the wrong size so returned them to the store. The lady was lovely and tried to re-order on their internal system but she was being let down by loads of technical issues and it wouldn't put the order through, so I came home and re-ordered. It's not a massive deal and the products are good and came on time. The refund was prompt too. I just feel like M&S could get it together with the waste a bit better.”
