“Good quality unit, delivered promptly. Only problem was one of the fittings wasn't flush to wall so wouldn't hang properly so required some adjustment to get it right.”

“Tall free standing bathroom cabinet is extremely good quality and nice looking. There was an error in delivery owing to the cabinet going to the wrong warehouse for delivery but John the advisor telephoned me to inform me that it would not be delivered on the correct day but arranged for it to be delivered the next day Saturday and it arrived at 8.30 am. Beacause the deivery was outside the promised 3 to 5 days for delivery they refunded me the delivery charge. Couldn't have asked for better service and have no hesitation in recommending them. Diane”

Hi Lucinda, Thank you for your feedback. First of all, may we apologise profusely for the failed collection that you’ve experienced. On investigating this issue further, our logistics team have clarified that a collection was booked in by ourselves on the date that you originally specified but unfortunately this was not received with the couriers due to a technical issue. This is not the level of service that we normally provide Lucinda and we really can’t apologise enough for this. We acted as a matter of urgency and manually booked your collection in for you. As confirmed by myself today, your collection is due to take place tomorrow between the hours of 9am and 6pm. We are currently working to rectify our logistics to resolve any collection issues and to ensure that situations such as this are not repeated in future. “We ordered a pillar tap for a bedroom unit which we had searched for in local plumbers merchants and on the web. We could only find two sites on the web which in stock that which was suitable for our requirement. Matalan Direct was the best priced of these and we ordered it from them on Friday 19 June 2015 and received 'Order Confirmation' from them at 22:01 hrs. On Monday 22 June 2015 we received a text message at 11:27 hrs to advise us that our order had been despatched by them and that DHL would deliver within two days. DHL sent us a text message at 9:17 hrs stating they would deliver a parcel to us between 11:50 hrs and 12:50 hrs. We received the delivery at 12:15 hrs. Excellent service from all concerned. We will use again!”

“WRONG IMFORMATION SUPPLIED BY MATALAN DIRECT REP THAT THE SHOWER KIT I PURCHASED WOULD FIT ORIGINAL HOLES IN TILES,HAD TO FILL THEM AND DRILL FRESH HOLES TO FIT ITEM.”

Hi John, Thank you for your feedback. We’re really sorry to hear that you’ve experienced some trouble with your order. We always aim to provide the most accurate information regarding each of our products. On investigating this further, we can see that you emailed us on Sunday 21st of June and asked for confirmation that the item you ordered would fit between the original drilled holes. Unfortunately, we can see that this was not confirmed by any of our customer services agents at any time, therefore it seems that there has been a miss-communication error here. Our email correspondence shows that you also made a delivery enquiry which was answered swiftly and the delivery date specified was met. Due to the nature of bathrooms installations, we do advise that no work is attempted before the product is received and checked. If a product arrives and it is not suitable, we would always advise that the customer contacts us so that we can arrange a suitable replacement and take the appropriate steps to resolve the issue as a matter of urgency.
