I'm only giving the service 3 stars because I was able to contact them via the chat function on the website (which was handled quickly) and I could schedule my pick up window online. However, be warned the time you schedule will very likely NOT be the time they come to pick up. I scheduled mine for the morning, 8-noon, and received the email confirmation. But then Sat, 2 days before pick up, I received a voice mail from the subcontracted company who would be picking up that said I was confirmed for the afternoon, 12:30 - 4:30. Um, no. That's not what I booked and I found it very presumptuous on their part to assume I would be available then. There's a reason I booked the time window that I did, obviously. Called them back but only got voice mail and never heard back form them. Pathetically, the day before my pick up, I received another email from Mattress Disposal Plus confirming my window was 8-noon. SO, here's MD+ confirming with me my original booking, yet the company who would come for the pick up had me scheduled for the afternoon -- which I never requested. I was able to change my plans since, yes, they came after 2:00 to pick my items up. If this was a free service, then I would absolutely understand being flexible with the scheduling, but I paid quite a bit for this service and I find it entirely unprofessional of the contracted provider (MR+) to have no control or concern that their 3P partners completely disregard customer bookings. If you don't care when your pick up is and have all day to sit around and wait, then great, no worries in using this service. But if you have a tight schedule and think you'll get what you booked, forget it, use someone else.

I had a mattress delivered via UPS (as many of the new mattress companies do these days), and of course with that you don't get the free haul-away you would normally. I also live in an apartment, so it would have been difficult to schedule a bulky-waste pick-up *and* my car is way too small to haul a mattress to one of the local disposal sites. With all of that in mind, Mattress Disposal + was the obvious choice. I booked online and got an early-morning appointment (with a four-hour window) the very next day. The guys showed up right in the middle of the four-hour window, and called me about 10 minutes before they arrived so everything was ready. They were polite and super quick in-and-out. Hopefully won't need this service again for awhile, but highly recommend it for convenience and price.

Great experience. Picked up mattresses and box springs at door. Cost more than the dump, but we didn't have to transport and everything gets recycled instead of ending up in the landfill.

I placed an online request for pick up with a time between 4 - 8 pm. I received a call the evening before before the pick up changing the time to between 2:30 and 6:30 pm. This required me to cancel appoints at my cost that were pre-scheduled. which is why I requested the 4-8 time slot. The following morning, day of pick up, I received a call for a 1:30 pm pick up. This was very upsetting as I was not going to be home by 1:30 pm from an early morning appointment that I could not change. The driver service that actually did the pick up understood and very accommodating. I said I would do my best to be back by 1:30 but I might be a bit after that. We stayed in touch by phone and arrived about the same time to my apartment. So the mattress was pick up. Because of the guys that worked with me on the pick I have given the service a 4 star rating. Over wise I would not have. In my opinion if you have time slots for people to choose from then stand by them or change your web site to reflect what actually happens. Thank you, Carin Snodgrass

My appointment was supposed to be from 12 - 4 p.m., but the guys came close to 8 p.m.! They were helpful once they're there. Also, I left special instructions during booking about where to part, but apparently that didn't get to the guys.

No one showed up during my 4 hour window, which was frustrating having to sit and wait for that. I called and was told that they'd reach out to the local manager and they would call me, so I waited for another 3.5 hours with no calls or anything. I then called again and was told I would receive a call from the local manager again, but received nothing. Later that night I sent an email asking for either a refund or any information at all regarding my booking, because I was moving in two days, and finally received a phone call saying they would be by the next day. When they actually showed up the process was incredibly quick and painless. It's a shame that individuals are charged $70.00 for being a "no show," but the company is not held to the same standard. I would rate less, based on my unpleasant experience, but the fact that the issue was eventually resolved and the men who helped move my furniture did a good job leaves me with a 3 star.

Hi! I had two mattresses and a box spring that I needed to get rid of and I found you through a search online. Booking was super easy and I got a confirmation e-mail response very quickly. The two reasons for my three star rating are because: 1. I had to pay before services had been completed and 2. my booking was rescheduled two different times because of mechanical issues with the driver's truck. I am completely understanding of mechanical issues, that is by no means anyone's fault, it happens. My family and I were just frustrated because of scheduling conflicts with it being rescheduled two different times. I ended up just cancelling and asked for a full refund, which I got very quickly. Customer service was understanding and amazing about the situation. I truly appreciated them.

Was told you'd be by around 4p-8p. Got a call saying they were on their way to the property at 11a. Normally changing schedule on such short notice is kind of difficult and sometimes annoying. However, this appointment was made last minute, and y'all were able to accommodate the service the next day, which was awesome in itself. So, the last minute earlier pickup was even better. The guys who retrieved the mattresses were funny and personable. We are glad we were able to get these items recycled, rather than tossed in the dump.
