“The pattern & colour are good & it’s finished around the edges really well. It was very well packaged. Delivery as expected. 4 not 5 stars because it’s not that heavy/thick.”

“I have given 4 stars because the rug is good quality and very heavy. However I had expected a brown shade and received a practically white shade. Customer service were very kind and explained it was their perception of the colour but I do think that perhaps they should provide samples as the website colour does look brown. However that said I kept the rug and put it in my bedroom and ordered a brown rug from elsewhere for I must say less than half of what |I'd paid for this rug.”

“Our experience of Modern Rugs got better. The sisal runner we ordered was sent but was the wrong smaller size. They responded on a Sunday, despite being officially closed, and gathered the necessary information from us. In a few days the exchange was made satisfactorily and we like the runner we ordered. It is well made and robust - we had feared a thinner rug - and it has a non slip back. This wasn't clear from the web as I recall. All in all the process needs a small review but the product was better than expected. They nearly made a 'very good'.”

“Rugs were as described. Only minor problem was, we the customer, had to phone after a long period of time to find out when we would be receiving our goods. Eventually when we were told arrived promptly.”

“Our initial attempt to buy rugs was a disaster with lots of time wasting and us getting a refund out of the blue. So we did not get what we wanted. However our second attempt which also was a made to measure size went absolutely perfectly. The rugs are absolutely fine. Very soft, and nice to walk on. Delivery time was good and had this been our only attempt to purchase we would have had no cause to criticise. So after a bad start we were successful and happy in the end.”
