“Me parent are isolating due to their age and had a delivery today. As they hadn’t managed to get a slot for 2 weeks and can’t get another one they had a shop of £150. The order delivered only came to £48 with virtually everything out of stock. Absolutely disgusted that you have nothing in stock. Now my elderly dad has to put himself at risk by going to Tesco’s as unfortunately I am not local to him! I’m sure if I went to Morrison’s there would be plenty on the shelves. You didn’t even offer substitutions. Will never shop with you again.”
“Bought 2 x £35 food boxes to be delivered to elderly vulnerable relatives , aged 89 & 90.
Both boxes delivered to their respective addresses OK and first impressions were ok ... However once the contents were unpacked , we were horrified to discover that the fresh Beef Mince, Chicken Breasts and Bacon ALL went out of date the DAY AFTER DELIVERY ... as did the bread and the cabbage. so all had to be thrown away, absolutely appalled at this , complete waste of money... won't buy again and would prefer a refund for this one”
“Wish I could rate this -100 stars!
Appalling customer experience.
I am currently self isolating and placed an online order over two weeks ago, this was due to arrive this evening.
It got to over an hour past the end of the expected delivery time and still no sign of the order, so I called customer services to enquire as to where my order was.
I waited for 30 mins only to be told that the order was not even on the system.
I queried this as I’d received confirmation emails and even amended my order several days ago & received confirmation of this.
I explained that I’m having to self isolate but the answer which I received was simply that there are “technical issues” and that orders are not being processed and it’s having an impact on thousands of customers.
I asked if there was anything the call handler could do, straight no was the answer. I asked to speak with a manager but none were available.
I appreciate that these are challenging times for all but I am disgusted how vulnerable and all customers are being let down.
I will be taking this further not just for myself but for all of the other people who have been let down in their time of need.”
“I’ve always been a Morrisons shopper! But since COVID19 I can see our Cwmbran store providing tight restrictions outside in the queuing area. But that’s where it stops. As soon as you get inside store it’s a “free for all” social distancing is something you only see on the TV because it certainly isn’t happening at Morrisons Cwmbran. The security guards just stood looking at their mobile phones & not interested. What a joke and let down. Please someone tighten restrictions in store and not just outside. Lives are at stake here. When approaching the staff there reply was to contact someone online & complain! I don’t want to complain but when you see 12 people in an aisle! Makes you really anxious”
“pretences
Went on there delivery site. Checked that they delivered in my area. Was told they did. Bought a years pass at £65. Went to book a delivery and told they don’t deliver to my address. Emailed and phoned for a refund but still no reply after 10 days.”
“It is the same in their Dover store!! People keeping a safe distance outside but once inside they all forget it and are up close and personal to all around. No staff members are enforcing the correct distance inside store apart from at the checkouts. Morrisons do not monitor this site. It is likely though that if you email them and explain what happens, under the present circumstances they may act.”
“Hi I was queuing outside Banbury store yesterday at 2 metres apart which was all ok once in the store far to many people in there at one time also 75% of the people are not keeping the distance there suppose to I’m shopping for my elderly parents one who has copd so can’t go out so i shop for them it’s time to limit how many people in the store and they must keep the acquired distance do these people think there invincible or just plain stupid we are all at risk so I would appreciate if there is any thing Morrison’s can do to sort this situation out many thanks j”
“On delivery the Morrison Driver in Milton Keynes told that you have loads of items missing and we won't be charged and disappeared. We had a refund for some items but other missing items were not refunded. I had to spend hours on the phone at least 5 times and each time I had to explain everything. The driver probably stole some items. Appalling service overall.”
“Secured a click and collect slot (shopping for elderly neighbours) at morrisons ,Grays. Kept waiting for 3 hours then told to wait for text and vome bavk at 8am. Got text just after midnight to say order was picked (with some cross offs) Got to store, to be told an hour later there was no order picked. They couldn't do refunds, but didn't know if I'd been charged anyway. Got home and found that two hours after I had been told order was picked, they sent an e mail telling me they had cancelled order. Staff in store had no idea. What kind of system is this ?”
“Pasted from "Angry" review below. I agree 100%. People will not forget. "Why can other stores open for the elderly between 8am and 9am but Morrisons cannot, I sent an email to their head office on the 22nd March and was told they could not send a reply. I rang my local Morrisons store last Monday and today and was told they had not been told by head office to open for the elderly. I rang head office no reply. So it means queueing outside in the cold for all elderly people. The government want the elderly to stay away from young people to protect them from this virus, but morrisons do not care. Profit before people seems to be their answer".”
“Online delivery did not arrive on day stated. No contact from the company at all. Got an email the next day stating it would be delivered later that days I had already gone shopping as I needed items for my elderly mother. Rejected it and now fighting for a refund.”

“Morrison’s queue-it system does not work!
Every time I get to the front of the queue it directs to the Morrison’s website and then bounces straight back to the back of the queue.”
“Been to killingworth Morrisons today,it's a disgrace, no social distancing even from the staff, there walking straight into you,or standing talking to each other with no distance between them even the lady on the till said she had watched two staff standing together having a conversation for about 5minutes. Come on everyone keep your distance, especially at this scarry time.maureen”
“On 16 March 2020, having been advised by the Government that I was at-risk and should stay in for 12 weeks, I made two Morrisons online grocery orders.
The first was due on 21 March between 9 and 10pm. I received an email stating that the order had been dispatched at 7.15pm and which items had been replaced. No delivery materialised and at 11.47pm I was informed that the delivery had been cancelled. There was no response from the Customer Service number and, having emailed, I received a response apologising that online slots are not available!
My second delivery also did not turn up despite an email again confirming dispatch and replaced items.
I shall never shop at this store again as, frankly, they have lost my trust and confidence and have let me down. In a time where there are some true heroes in the community, Morrisons have been found wanting.”
“i ordered 3 chickens £9 and one pack of sausages for a disabled lady together with other shopping which most did not arrive, some substitutes costing double, and then the DELIVERY DRIVERS DELIVERED ONLY ONE CHICKEN INSTEAD OF 3 (bill for 3 chickens £17.46 as free range only) no sausages either.
MORRISONS DELIVERY DRIVERS ARE THIEVES AND STEALING PEOPLES FOOD, DISGRACEFUL AND SHOULD GET THE SACK!!!!!!”
