“Love the convenience of MFB Fresh Start Lite. Easy to prepare and sooo much food that sometimes I cant even finish the meals. Certainly have my favourites which I tick so that I can prepare them myself when I reach my goal weight. I am eating more vegetables with more variety than I have ever done and feel so much better for it. The low carb meals also mean I don't feel bloated after a meal. With the weight loss and daily exercise I feel so much better.”

“I'm enjoying the meals, recipes are easy, quick and tasty. There are several I'm attempting to copy, the seasoning/sauces sometimes tricky to recreate! I'd have rated as VERY GOOD if the delivery system kept all the items cold/cool enough, e.g. the 'frozen' peas and corn are always thawed on arrival. Never know whether to refreeze, or just leave in the fridge. In our town, goods slowly trundle around town behind the Postie on her Electric Scooter in the sun!!”

“Most meals are pretty good and its so handy not to have to go to the supermarket all the time! Would love a fresh start that has 3 or 4 meals though and an option to swap out meals that aren't appealing to us.”

“Good variety of meals and some real winners with the recipes. I'm encouraging other family members to make up some of the meals and they're enjoying the challenge. They do comment that it's sometimes fiddly but the tastes are worth it. Loving the baking box for Christmas.”

“My food bag has changed our evening dynamics- I love how the kids are getting more involved in the kitchen and hubby is trying to cook more often. having all the ingredients and an easy recipe to follow sure has given him a 'small nudge' and advebture himself in the kitchen again!!! Great work my food bag team!!! The only thing i would say is to never put nachos again :) pizzas are ok but only in seldom occasions ;)”

“Great to have tasty recipes, with all the ingredients in one place: reduces the mental load of meal planning! The non-veg menus seem to be pretty heavy on red meat, and there is a lot more frying than I'm used to.”

“I like how you can adapt meals to suit the needs of your family. For instance it shows a kid friendly version and an Adult version. We have a child with Autism who has sensory issues and have had some success with getting him to try new foods. My youngest son enjoys preparing the my food bag meals with me and it is nice to have this quality time in the kitchen together..”

“The vege food bag we get is giving us 4 great dinners,with enough for second helpings or lunch the next day.I'm sure we spend less at the super market,we don't go as often,which is a time and money saver .The meals are varied,with lots of interesting textures and flavours, I love the abundant use of herbs ! but the chopped pumpkin is not so good,it has a chlorine smell from the water it was rinsed in.and is mushy by the time i use it.Every thing is there for the recipes ,except a packet of dressing was missing in one box.”

“Generally the food is great quality, although I've had a it of rotten fruit recently and some ingredients missed out of the box. We love that there are fantastic recipes and they are always different. The whole family loves the recipes. Thank you for making our lives easier at tea time :)”

“Great meals. I started with the 450 cal lunch and dinner for two people. Really enjoyed the variety and out of the roughly 5 weeks of meals I only didn’t like 2 or 3. Only some of the meals weren’t great to reheat for lunch. One problem I ran into was how long the veges stayed fresh. It doesn’t work if you need to push the meals back a day. Had to deal with the customer service team too and they were epically awesome to deal with. The live chat was super quick and painless Have moved to the heat 2 cook 2 (week one) - the reheated meals so far have been delicious. Especially the chimchurri beef. It is quite expensive tho esp when you consider the price of the first package I mentioned. Otherwise, a lot of care put into the recipes, easy to follow and not complex”

“Since I started my food bag fresh start I was hooked! Some recipes that I thought I wouldn’t like I liked, the flavours and ingredients just always work so well. I’ve found that following the recipes is so easy and they turn out EVERY time so obviously fool proof. I feel like I’ve turned into quite the chef in the family and also have really enjoyed trying new flavours and recipes.”

“I love the variety that My Food Bag provides and interesting flavours as well. I also love the freebies that occasionally come along. My only downside is not being able to swap a protein out because I don’t really enjoy fish and the bag always seems to have fish.”

“I’m really enjoying trying out new recipes and most of the meals are delicious. It makes eating healthy a lot easier when the food is so good. It would be nice to have the option to swap meals on the fresh start programme as I’m not a huge fan of fish which appears most weeks.”
