“LOVE letting the bag each week, makes cooking so much easier. A good variety of meals for the whole family. portion sizes, especially of the protein, are often on the slim side but otherwise love it!”

“I really like the recipes, and variety of food. We do eat many different veges now - asparagus being one of them! We repeat some of the sauces and couscous for other meals during the week. I am however unimpressed with the cuts of beef - I end up cutting so much fat off there’s not much left.”

“Mostly great , enjoy not having to think about what to cook . Recipes usually very good and interesting ingredients / combinations are incorporated . Food almost always fresh and of high quality . Reasons for me not rating m f b 5 are : Expensive Too much unnecessary packaging Sometimes requires too many pots and pans. Sometimes it would be good to have a one pot meal ( like biryani) Lastly - not enough choice for vegetarians ( I say this as an after thought as recently m f b started veg for 4 - and I’m greatful .... but a few more veg choices would be awesome eg no eggs , choice of 3 meals out of the 4 veg for 2 , and even dairy free / vegan !!! I’m sure within 18 months it will appear ! Fingers crossed ) I don’t use m f b often ( prob would if I could afford to ) but mostly it really is great and even us foodies need a little inspiration sometimes !”

“The delivery of my food bag is very good, around the same time each week and they pick up the recycleables well. At the start the vegatables were always very fresh and lasted the 4 days, of recent weeks I have noticed some of the vegatables are not as fresh, especially lettuce, asparagas.”

“I love getting My Food Bag Fresh Start. The food is generally lovely and fresh. I don't need to think, everything and the recipe are just there and all I have to do is put it all together, cooking as required. Meals are low calorie and tasty, (except the miso, I hate miso). So good not having to plan what to cook for dinner every night.”

“I love cooking new recipes and the ease of having things all at hand. Sometimes the meals are a bit bland so I add flavour. Sending frozen peas and corn isn’t working for my delivery. They don’t arrive frozen. It isn’t an issue because I always have frozens on hand.”

“So nice to be spending less time at the supermarket and having more variety in what we eat for dinner. Generous portion sizes and great quality ingredients. Love having two heat and eat meals a week too!”

“We have tried 3 different bags now. Started with the standard one which was nice but we didn’t feel it was too different from the meals I cook myself. Next up was gluten free which was even better. Now we’re onto week 8 of the low carb bag and this is top notch- loads of vegetables, great quality cuts of meat, delicious dressings and spice mixes and plenty of everything. Love it!!”

“We love my foodbag but unfortunately there are always mistakes. Mostly with the delivery - courier forgets to drop off my heat and eat at least 50% of the time.”

“We get the classic for 2 food box every week and it feeds 3 easily. I love it because I don't do all the cooking, anyone can choose a meal and start cooking. Everything they need is in the fridge and the recipes are easy to follow. We eat food I would never think to cook and they are tasty and healthy.”

“Thank you Nadia & Mint Mctavish :-) We love my food bag. My husband who used to struggle to make a sandwich is slowly gaining confidence in the kitchen. He can follow the recipient and pictures and produce something yummy that looks impressive too. Recommendation: when your food bag arrives I unpack and bag all the meals ingredients separately, this means when I get home after work I just grab a bag and begin cooking. We would love an option of 3 days as we are out quite a bit with work etc. I currently give them to co-workers but only having 3 days would save us money. Overall love your guys work and have got a lot of friends and workmates cooking up a storm.”

My expectation of quality meals has been raised and I don’t want to eat out because it’s often not up to the same standard as My Food bag meals!”

“Love how My Foodbag takes the hassle out of trying to decide what to have for dinner. We have 2 teenage boys who are real foodies and we switch between Classic bag, Express bag, Vege bag and Heat and eat meals. We try and avoid any week with pork on the menu as we all hate pork so there's enough menus to choose from to make this work. We often feel that the menus sre very meat heavy and when we feel bogged down by meat we order the Vegetarian for 4 bag. With growing teenage boys in our house I sometimes have to bulk out the menu by adding extra carbs like bread or potatoes. I do think with more competition in the market My Food Bag does need to ensure that they don't skimp on quality and quantity. We have noticed the quantity of ingredients is a bit light some weeks. Unfortnately that's often what happens when private equity companies get involved! Overall we really enjoy My Foodbag and would recommend it.”

“I do find that the fresh produce start to wilt by the time I need to use it. This past week the potatoes was extremely soft already. the selection of carrots has also been disappointing. Overall I do enjoy my food bag, and my family loves it.”

“Love receiving My Food Bag every Sunday and knowing our meals for the week, saves the hassle of planning what to have each night and shopping for it. Being able to swap a meal is also great as we don't eat fish. Gives us a much better variety of meals than when we were doing our own. Only thing is some weeks the odd ingredient is missing out of our Food Bag but this is quickly remedied with a credit from customer service.”
