“Have been getting Bargain Box since Jan and most recipes have been really good - however I have noticed just in the last month or so that they don't seem to be as good as before and I have considered other providers. Quite a few recently have been quite bland and boring.”

“We enjoy 90% of our meals. Most are tasty, easy to make and have plenty of ingredients. Somethings they do get a bit the same. Very pleased to get free range eggs and pork. Please keep on finding ways of reducing packaging, it would be great if you could reuse the ice packs.”

“The recipes are easy to follow l don't have to plan the weeks menu it's all done for me there is plenty of variety and tasty the whole family enjoys them. Just one suggestion could we have less chicken breast perhaps some thighs or legs a bit more of a mixture.”

“Take the worry and stress out of deciding what to eat every night! Easy to follow instructions and super fresh ingredients, its easy to leave out certain ingredients for the fussy eaters in the house and there is always leftovers! A great choice for a busy family.”

“The recipes are always really good, it's convenient and relatively easy, but the listed times can be a bit off unless you're ridiculously fast at chopping (and sometimes there can be a lot of prep), and we have had one or two delivery issues with things not being in the box. It's good value for money, and our one year old usually loves the meals, which is not easy to achieve.”

“Not all meals are outstanding but none are ever terrible, some are great and I want to make again. Lots of variations of the same thing but that is fine. Instructions aren't always in the best order but they have listened to reviews people have given them and made changes. Have had one complaint and it was dealt with immediately and to a high level. It is exactly as advertised and works really well for us most weeks because a lot of the meals are toddler appropriate.”

“I love the variety of vegetables included in each meal. The sauces are also always simple but so tasty. There is a great variety and the quality of meat is fantastic. I do usually need to cut the salad serving down pretty significantly for my household. We’re otherwise thrilled with the service.”

“My Food Bag has made dinners massively easier for us! I love not having to think up something to cook everyday. I really like the healthiness of the meals - lots of veggies is great. Plus the spices, dressings and aiolis are going down a treat with everyone. The food is fresh and high quality which I really value. What could be better? We would like to be able to avoid lamb permanently, but that's not an option online. I would like to have more vegetarian options to swap into. I would like some different fish varieties than just Hoki. I would like to know if the pork is free farmed before I choose it. Overall I am happy with MFB but these things would make me happier.”

“Easy and tasty meals are key. Over 10 weeks every meal has been different and, while they take about the same amount of time, are much more inventive than my classic go tos. Would be a 5 star rating but every once in a while there’s been a few mix ups with what makes it into the box (once they forgot the beef!) but the customer care team are super on to it, and sort it out if something goes wrong”
