“I love the freshness of the meat and produce. The recipes mean I don't have to think about what I'm going to cook until cooking time. I love the variety of the meals and how they are extending my family's palates. I would like to have the option to repeat a favourite recipe more often, ie, before we forget what it was.”

“Great inspiration for a variety of vegetarian meals. Some of the recipes have started to get a bit confusing. Disappointed in the large amount of plastic packaging involved in the box which makes me consider stopping my subscription.”

“Really enjoy receiving this on a Sunday, especially when it’s recipes I wouldn’t normally cook myself! No negative feedback, there’s only been a couple of meals the whole time I’ve been ordering where I wouldn’t want it again (personal taste) and only one ingredient missing over the whole time (wasn’t an essential ingredient so I didn’t report it). Overall I really enjoy the ready in 20 bags and will keep ordering. Only suggestion is that I’d love a flexiterian option for a bag as I prefer to eat less meat, so if one meal could be vegetarian each week I would LOVE that.”

“I have enjoyed almost every meal so far, and love that my husband is also rolling up his sleeves and helping with the preparation and cooking. We also stretch some meals to include our son, giving him new things to try. Not having to think about planning meals is awesome as I am a busy working mum. I've had a couple of problems with a missing item and a fruit box that didn't arrive, but things seems to get sorted when I contact MFB. Thanks for making my life a little but easier.”

“My son brought me a my food bag for my birthday. And we have just kept getting them. We have been impressed with the flavour, variety and healthiness. Prior to getting my food bag I was struggling to think of things for meals now it's not such a chore as have been reverting back to some of the recipes. Looking forward to seeing the summer meals.”

“we all really liked the Fresh Start bag, there are 3 of us eating a bag for 2 and there is plenty of food in it. We feel like we have eaten enough after dinner but never feel stuffed which is great. recipes are usually easy to prepare, some a little bit more laborious but worth the effort!”

“I love the convenience of My Food Bag (fresh start) the recipes always get a 4-5 star rating, love the fresh produce, love that it’s low calorie, love that all meat is free range and of top quality. My only negatives (and this is nit picking) would be that it is at the more expensive side of food delivery options and some of the meals could be spicier, but this is probably personal taste, so I often add a few extra chilli or spices myself. We used My food bag in the past, but some of the meals could be quite high in calories, and the meat was not all free range. So in summary I am very pleased with My Food Bag (Fresh Start), keep up the good work.”

“We enjoy most of the meals in the 2 heat & 2 eat option which we get each week. It would be nice to have an option of choosing 4 out of 5 options though. And we find the meat portions quite small even for just 2 of us. Otherwise very yummy & enjoyable!”

“Love it. Sometimes the instructions aren't very clear and the picture doesn't quite correspond to the actual meal but its okay. I really wouldn't recommend saying "boil a full jug of water" for cooking rice. This is too vague and that is WAY too much water for cooking rice. Rice should also be washed first and i suggest this be recommended in the recipe as rice is a huge part of MFB and can break the dish if you don't cook it right. It has taken a hell of a lot of trial and error for me to get rice done right so its not gluggy and sticky. The "full jug of water" is an insane amount of water for 1 cup of rice. 1.25 cups of water is perfect for 1 cup of rice, not 1.25 litres from the jug. Apart from that i am loving it. The occasional extras make it amazing. Thanks!”

“Have got back into My Food bag after a break. Heat two cook two. Very easy on the busy nights to heat up a meal that has all the flavours of the cook two, just not as much prep. Kids love helping with the cook two also. So all is going well so far. Cheers.”

Makes the week so much easier love opening the fridge and seeing my weeks food all ready to prepare into delicious meals. Great generous portion sizes measured out to how many calories. “Love that the food arrives to the door, recipes mostly good but of course it's hard to accommodate everyone palate. Sometimes the packets of seeds, spices etc are wet, they need to be placed in a corner next to other dry foods.”
