“We get Bargain Box fortnightly and sometimes add in extra weeks if the menu looks nice. There is some repetition but overall we really enjoy it. It would be nice to have more vegetarian options, one vege based dish a week would be fantastic as the meals are very meat heavy.”

“Our love bargain box, it has opened my 8 year old up to try new meals and be excited about dinner. The only thing we would like to see a change in is the prep time it takes, we don't get home from work untill 6pm and it usually takes 2 hours to prep and cook the meal it would be nice to have 2 or 3 super quick meals as well as the normal ones. Thanks bargain box!”

“The meals are generally good although there seems to be an abundance of some vegetables like carrots, peas and potatoes in each box. It seems wasteful. We’ve gone back to fortnightly because the variety is lacking and may even suspend for a while. Bargain box was chosen for affordability and it was the only option that catered for 4 adults and a teenager.”

“With a recommendation from a good friend of mine, I've started getting Bargain Box every week. So far, I'm very happy with the Bargain Box. The ingredients are fresh, the price of the box is quite reasonable considering the grocery cost, and the recipes are easy to follow.”

“Pretty good but I have skipped a couple of weeks as too much stir fry/Asian/pasta type meals and burger/sliders which not keen on. Would prefer only one stir fry/pasta type meal each week.”

“We love bargain box. Plenty of food enough to go round & my fussy one year old loves the meals and always finishes her bowl full. My only issue is that you can't choose your meals online but other then that perfect !!”

“High quality food makes it worthwhile, I just can't eat some of the options. Usually it's only one meal a week but sometimes it's the whole weeks food that i cant eat. It would be great if there were recommended substitutions for some meal items. I like the swap meals, this week I could swap a recipe when I couldn't eat one of the items.”

“Really like Bargain Box - and that you use free farmed pork/chicken. However I would really like one vegetarian meal included - just to reduce the amount of meat eaten each week. We are not vegetarian but we are trying to reduce our weekly meat intake for environmental reasons.”
