“I've been using the My Food Bag classic option to bless some friends in Auckland after their new baby arrived. Me now living in Hamilton I couldn't pop in so easily with meals for them and this was a great solution to support them practically in those tricky first weeks. They have loved it so much they have signed up for their own subscription. Thank you My Food Bag for being such a wonderful tool to bless others with.”

“I love experimenting with new to me ingredients and recipes. The ingredients are of high quality and fresh, recipes are easy to follow and tasty. A few times there were errors in the instructions. I'd like less leftover veggies, like half broccolis not used. Including new veggi varieties is great and I strongly encourage you to support local/small growers. Best improvements would be distribution from the South Island to reduce transport and offsetting your Carbon emissions.”

“We really enjoy new recipes and have never had the same twice. Always fresh ingredients and interesting combinations of vegetables. Very tasty dinners and thoroughly recommend them. Hardly ever find out now as meals are even more wholesome and nutritious than dining out. The bonus is that my hubby enjoys cooking them as well.”

“Life changing!!! The best way I can describe my food bag. We buy the classic five nights for four, we are three full time working adults and it’s taken the frustration and thinking out of planning dinner when all you want to do it blob! We are eating a lot more veg, and even loving the vegetarian options (including the meat eating, “dinner isn’t dinner without meat, male). So happy with the quality of the food! Any errors are fixed immediately without delay! Love the little surprise you get, free drinks, oats, sauces and CUPCAKES!! Can’t wait for our treat in three bags time! What a great idea! Keep up the hard work My Food Bag and a huge thank you from my family! 😁😁😁”

“Meals are generally really good and quite interesting. It's great not to have to think about what's for dinner. Some of the steps in the food prep sound a bit complicated even though they are not really, but you quickly get used to the way the recipes work. It would be good to opt out of the day 1 fish meal as neither of our kids like fish.”

“Really good. Have had one instance where some produce was rotten and items were missing from the bag. Although it took a couple of days for an emailed reply, the issues were well dealt with. Overall good meals: large portions and a good range of ingredients. Very happy overall, and often recommend to friends.”

“I would rate it very good except for some reason we have to go and collect our My Food Bag delivery from three minutes down the road because they don't deliver to Arthurs Point in Queenstown (which is central Queenstown?!). Please keep me updated if this changes. Thanks, Juliana”

“We’ve recently started ‘budgeting’ and absolutely stunned that since we started getting MFB, our spend on groceries/takeaways/meals out reduced by over $1,000 last month. Less trips to supermarket and not the urge to go for meals out when we have a gourmet meal to enjoy at home by the fire with a glass of wine and the candles lit. Who wants to go out??”
