“Not giving 5 stars as I think there’s still room for refining the portions to eliminate waste. I have a cupboard full on sachets as I just don’t use them all. Also please please pleeeeease update the recipe cards to what type of vinegar is required in the dish. Last nights dinner just said vinegar. That could be balsamic, white wine or red wine, white or malt, rice etc etc. I ended up using nothing as I clearly had no idea..... I could be missing out on flavour which is a shame. Hope this gets taken into account for future ☺️”

“It's good to be creating new, interesting meals for the family knowing that all the ingredients are present. We are trying to eat less meat so the vegetarian meal bag is giving us ideas about how to do this going forward. At times the recipes get a bit repetitive, but so does my cooking.”

“Both my husband and I enjoy cooking and have always been adventurous with flavors. But when I needed to have surgery we thought my food bag would help simplify meal time. I have to say it has done more than that..... not only has our 13 year old suddenly taken an interest in cooking (she prepares the my food bag meals alone....by choice). She has also gone from a fussy, barely eating vegetable teenager to a healthy foodie wanting cook books for Christmas and asking for more asparagus!! A vegetable she would never have had sitting on her plate before never mind eaten!!! Thank you my food bag you have freed up my evening routine, inspired my daughter to eat and cook healthy, whilst providing us with great gluten free options. What was initially going to be a temporarily solution has turned into a permanent fixture in our week.”

“The meals are faster to prepare and the carbs in the Fresh Start bags are lower than previously, which is why I have returned as a customer. A couple of the meals haven't been as flavoursome as I remember, maybe I need to add more salt?? Overall the first week has been a good experience.”

“I love the variety and the instructions. I would prefer to supply my own herbs in the summer as mine are fresher given I pick them for use. I would like the seasons to take South Island seasonal produce into consideration a little more. I would like you to consider rural delivery where it’s only 1 km from non rural delivery and we are reasonably densely populated. My food bag has taught me to try new foods and combinations and I’m loving it!!”

“Overall a really great experience. We get to try foods that we normally wouldn't eat or cook. Some meals are much better than others but all part of learning what you like. Recipes are fairly easy to follow, I would personally prefer a better layout. There is usually vegies left over as well which help with other non-FoodBag meals. It wouldn't be cheaper than my normal shopping but the variety and ease make up for it.”

“Really enjoy the concept. Enjoy most of the recipes. Some are a bit basic. A bit disappointed with the freshness of some of the vegetables. Recently the carrots have been very soft and limp (not even peelable). This week the Cos lettuce was slimy, smelley and well past use by date, before we got to use it. It ended up in the compost bin.”

“I love that I have a nutritionalist do the thinking for me and have definitely been eating a lot more vegetables on Fresh Start. Ways to improve; the packaging worries me and my husband is not very happy about that, it would be great if not every meal inluded meat, because I am eating a lot more meat on your programme than I normally would, and lastly it would be good if the numbers were more flexible as I want food for three and that isn't an available option.”

“I love my food bag. Cooking for myself can get boring and repetitive. I love having a weekly plan and great new recipes that are healthy and easy ! Knowing all the ingredients are there and ready is a big relief after a big day and knowing your going to have a yummy healthy dinner is also great. Very impressed so far.”
