“Very happy with Bargain Box. It’s helped me to learn how to more confidentially prep food and has reduced our time at the supermarket which is important during COVID. It’s helped us be healthier and also reduced the stress of weeknight cooking. Only gripes are sometimes the ingredients don’t arrive in the best condition, would appreciate more delivery time options and more diverse recipes. But overall thanks!”

“I really like the recipes. Even though I have been cooking for a long time and would be considered a good cook, I am learning lots of new tricks that has really improved my knowledge. I have often in the past told my husband to make the decisions on what we eat because the hardest part is the choice so it is great to know that I can choose from a week of meals and all the ingredients will be there.”

“I would normally have given five stars but this week the spinach was SLIMY and we had to wash and re bag it as soon as it arrived! Also the past few weeks the tomatos have not been fresh,they have been old and over ripe.(Had to use my own) I have just sung my food bag praises to family members, so I hope that there is an improvment. Otherwise very happy with my food bag.”

“My Food Bag is so delicious, fresh and easy to make. We started Fresh Start a few months ago. It is so healthy and has established healthy eating habits for us. It is fantastic because everything arrives to make your meals and you don't need to go to the supermarket for anything. It arrives about the same time every week so you can rely on it being on time. Loads of flavours and the meat is of very good quality. We love it and would recommend it to other families to help take the stress out of the week and to ensure you eat healthy and save money.”

“I have been using My Food Bag for a few months now and it has been a game changer. We are a busy household and healthy dinners just weren't happening. In fact dinners sometimes didn't happen at all - toast for dinner kids? With foodie teens, My Food Bag satisfies all their expectations! My tip: I pre prep all the meals. I spend an hour or so on delivery day getting everything ready - meat into marinades or rubs and veges cut. They all go into glass containers in the fridge so all I have to do is pull it out and cook.”

“We started using Bargain Box after having our baby. It has been such a easy way to eat healthy and easy meals. So great with a young baby because we don’t have to put any effort into shopping or coming up with ideas of what to have for dinner. We also have no food wastage now abs the food is so budget friendly. When we had a issue with food leaking the team member we dealt with efficiently sorted the problem for us by crediting some money to our account and sendin links for substitutes of what had leaked.”

“Bargain box has been a game changer for us. Takes the hassle out of buying big jars of things, only to use a little and the rest goes to waste. We've tried lots of different types of foods I never would have cooked normally. Our only problem is we don't know what to cook on our non-bargain box days as nothing lives up to them! lol”

“Heaps of beautiful local ingredients and great recipes. We've had a few we didn't love but compared to other meal delivery services this is easily the best. Also love getting local snacks and new products to try every now and then. Highly recommend you try it. I've had 2 experiences with customer service and both were fantastic! Highly recommend.”

“My experience with My Food Bag is that it doesn't save time, money or dishes, but it gets us to try many different meals and ingredients that I never would have tried otherwise. After getting the Bargain Box for a while I found the portions, especially the portions of meat, excessive compared to what we normally would cook, so are now getting the Vege Box for 2, and subbing in our own meat when we want to. It's working well so far but it still needs creativity on my part, especially as there is no way for us to opt out of mushroom based meals (allergy). As the person in the house who cooks, I enjoy preparing these meals, but I probably won't still be doing it in 6 months. I should mention that I had a couple of experiences with things missing or damaged in in the box and they were really great to deal with!”
