“Recipes are easy to follow and plenty of variations as long as you choose what you want, only downside is they supply far too much salad and veg, and the protein is lacking for our family of six.”

“I love the ease of ordering and not having to think about what to cook for dinner each night. I am finding the meals a bit repetitive now, and seem to be using smoked paprika a lot (a flavour I really dislike). But overall I am really happy with the service, including the chat feature for any order issues.”

“Super easy recipes to follow and they have all been tasty. The food box arrives well chilled. My only criticisms are the veggies are not always at their best which is disappointing. It would be awesome if you could have single serve sizes of some of the spices otherwise I end up with little packets all over the place and I have started throwing them out for that reason which is a shame.”

“We found it more convenient and quicker than the leading competitors product as their ones took so much preparation effort. The dishes are tasty the only downside has been sometimes the overuse of chicken and rice in meals and while the quality has generally been good we have had issues with the mince being grisly and a little fatty which was disappointing and stop me from giving it five stars. I did advise my food bag of the issue and they gave me a credit which was good”

“Frozen peas don't stay frozen. Sometimes the vege isn't always the best quality.”

(Bargain Box (3 Nights For 2)) - Posted 9 months ago

Hi Ange, thanks for sharing your review. We're sorry to hear that some of the vegetables you have received aren't of the best quality. We'll pass this feedback to our team to review. Regarding the frozen peas, these are expected to defrost during their journey to you! When you receive them, you can either pop them back into the freezer or the fridge, whichever suits best. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us at hello@myfoodbag.co.nz if you would like to discuss anything further! - Bargain Box Buddies 🧡
