I have had one parcel 'with my courier for delivery today' since 18th December. I contacted the seller (as contacting Hermes is impossible - all you get is a bot that just goes around in circles and tells you nothing) and they reported that Hermes confirmed the item was lost. Thanks for updating the tracking or letting me know Hermes. Second item, delivered today - the padded envelope had been ripped open full length, the box crushed and the lid of the enclosed perfume, broken. Pointless even trying to contact Hermes. I wish sellers would take their custom elsewhere.

Hermes should be shut down by trading standards. First parcel delivered to incorrect address and they refused to recover. Second parcel stolen within Hermes and compensation refused despite having insurance. So lost the price of the goods and the shipping cost. What a truly awful company, good luck trying to contact them...A disgrace.... never again.

Hands down the worst customer experience in my lifetime. Total contempt for the customer. No ability to communicate via email or reach a human being. Automated phone and chat "support" impossible to access unless you have a tracking number. My problem is that 9 days after dropping off an Amazon return I have not received a confirmation email/tracking number. Their website does not recognize the receipt reference number. Instead of making it easy to resolve problems Hermes wants to torture people who have the misfortune of needing to engage with them.

My parcel was received by hermes over a week ago, the click and collect shop are no help at all and it says when I track package sender requested return. I contacted sender and she has not requested return or received it. Can't speak to any1 at hermes,can't email them.Absolutely useless. I shall never buy anything again if hermes is the courier. Couldn't give my friend her Xmas prez as no1 knows where my parcel is. Disgraceful service. Not worth a quarter of a star!!

Well, over the run up to Christmas, Hermes lost one parcel with a carefully themed set of Christmas presents for a child obtained from different sources, some of which are now sold out. The parcel lockers weren’t working properly either, opening doors with another person’s parcel in already. They then delivered one smashed to smithereens from John Lewis, which I was able to return via Waitrose, but it was too late to get another in time for Christmas. And finally today they claim to have tried to collect a return which I had waited in for, when it is clear from my video doorbell that no one came to the house. Are they really this useless all the time? I shan’t be using them again.

I sent a laptop in a big box- WAS DELIVERED taped differently and instaed of laptop there were some clothes inside!! Disgusting HERMES!!! You stole it! Laptop were under insurance before and now you took it off.. what a coincidence. The worst company who LIES & STEALS THE GOODS!!!!!!

Would give them Minus if I could Informed my parcel was at warehouse from 19th December.. No further communication from them It was a Christmas Gift They could have at least kept me informed that it wouldn't be arriving.. So that I could have had time to buy replacement gift.. My order was from QVC.. I really don't think that reputable companies like QVC should use Hermes as a Courier. It's not the first time that this as happened with Hermes AVOID AT ALL COSTS TERRIBLE SERVICE NO COMMUNICATION VERY DISAPPOINTED

Should be minus stars for this useless company ! 10 parcels now missing including medical supplies. Tracked to local hub and then nothing. Buying online has become a real nightmare now as we have to make sure the sellers are not using Hermes. If I see the item is posted by Hermes I have to buy an alternative as I know this won't arrive. If you want to buy an item and don't want it to arrive = use hermes.

Avoid using this company at all costs!! I posted 2 items in the space of 30 days and not one of them has been delivered! You cannot get a straight answer from the customer service team they are absolutely useless!! Wish I had read the reviews before posting my item!! Thieves!!

Placed order 8th December, plenty of time for Christmas. Still not arrived. Tracking says tried to deliver 4 times and I was out. It was an office address and very much open. Why can't drivers ring the customer if they are having trouble to deliver. I will not order anything from companies who use hermes again. It doesn't help when the customer cant even contact you, after searching i found a contact email, no reply in 4 days so far. Thanks hermes some are going without presents because you can't organise your deliveries.

Been texting me all day saying its on its way, changing times to earlier than later and in the end it didn't turn up, a Christmas present! I paid next day delivery on the 21st and now it the 24th and it doesn't look like its coming

I placed an order to arrive on a next day delivery on Saturday 18th December. Even now nothing has arrived and all I have is a status saying sorry for the delay. Impossible to speak to a human being it’s just a useless automated system that doesn’t recognise the tracking number and a bot on the live chat that just churns out a repeated message. Terrible company and total lack of service and now I am going down the claims route. Do not use this company.

What can I say super company outstanding customer service. Oh sorry wrong company Hermes is by far the worst courier company in the UK. There complaints team are absolutely clueless and are unable to do their jobs. As for customer service and experience I don’t seriously think this lot have any understanding of the words. There needs to be a governing body set up to regulate people like Hermes, then they wouldn’t get away with anything!

Unfortunately there was nit a zero star option. Parcel delivered today - parents were home - courier did not knock just left parcel in the wheely bin!!!! Luckily my dad saw the courier walking back down the drive and he had seen they had been in the bin so retrieved my parcel- yes it was bin day. Trying to raise a complaint is like trying to raise the dead!

Item was posted 17/12. In transit to national hub on 18th. No movement since then. Delivery was suppose to be days ago. So now someone won't be getting a present this Christmas. Hermes support is shocking. Don't even try, a useless live chat bot, and a useless phone bot. No human contacts. They only respond to the big verified users on twitter... I only got my response when I emailed their CEO directly (Martijn De Lange) and copied in support, that is the level of we simply don't care you are dealing with. And after all that, it took Hermes CS 15 hours to respond that "after extensive investigations we were unable to locate the parcel" so they advised I submit a Lost claim form (which they will assess in 28days). Funny that my Parcel was likely in a large box, and apparently never made it to the national hub. I dare say the driver thought it was a PS5 and nabbed it. Online videos+images of Hermes drivers have shown: -Staff launching Christmas parcels about at a depot -Drivers hurling parcels to driveways from their car -Drivers dumping large piles of parcels in bushes -Parcels delivered ripped apart, taped back together -Drivers stealing parcels This company simply does not care. Go and look at their Twitter page, the amount of people posting very damning images/videos should encourage anyone not to use Hermes ever again.

10 parcels now tracked to my local depot and nothing ! Nobody brings them out. I have been refunded by the sellers but I actually need the stuff I have ordered. Customer support is non existent and nobody cares. Please do not use these useless people ! Boycott them until they go under !

This is now the 4th day I have waited in to receive a parcel from Next which was to be delivered by Hermes on a Monday. The delivery never turned up and Hermes informed us it needed a 2 man lift so they were arranging this. The next day we were informed it would arrive on that day between 12 and 2pm. We waited in and guess what, no delivery. It is now late Thursday and when we have tried to track it we have been informed it is with the courier and on its way and will be delivered between 12 and 2pm 3 days ago. We cannot get hold of Next to get them to chase the parcel and cannot get hold of Hermes. Sounds like a marriage made in hell. I have now made 22 calls including online chats and the best information I can get is, yep, you've guessed it, "IT'S ON THE WAY, YOU WILL RECEIVE IT TODAY BETWEEN 12 AND 2PM" and the date on which I will receive it, yep, 3 days ago. Come back real people and face a spoken enquiry where we can expect to be treated in a respectful manner. I am instructing my company employees to not use Next again whenever a delivery service will be needed and that Hermes will be involved. The service is proving to itself and its customers that they are happy to insult us and clearly could not care less.

NEVER trust this company. Heard about bad experiences before but this is just ridiculous! My iPad was sent to me via Hermes in a black parcel bag within a box, sealed well and with bubble wrap. Someone from the company carefully opened the black bag, ripped open the box inside and pulled out the iPad from all the bubble wrap. Then they had the audacity to tape the black outer packaging back up so no one noticed! I was sent an empty box!! How can anyone be so cruel?!
