“They don’t allow returns. I ordered a smaller size than I needed, when I realized it I just order the next size up thinking I could return the first dress. But because of their crazy policy now I am stuck with 2 identical dresses!!! It’s crazy now to allow returns/ exchanges!!!”

“Earlier this month I made two orders; order number 447115 amount $1,000 and order number 446371 amount $1,000. The total value of my orders is $2,000 And I just found out that those two items that I already purchased are offered at a very attractive discount, each is offered at $700 which lead to saving of $300 each ($600 in totalfor my future purchase at your website. “I bought a gown for a wedding and the posted the UK size which is not the same as the US size. When I got the dress is was too small. I ordered the US size and paid $492 again. When I called to return the smaller dress I was told it couldn’t be returned. The return policy on the website is very confusing. The basic told me it was a custom made dress, but it wasn’t. It was available to order just like every other dress. The dress was $492 and I had to pay twice.”

“I give them two stars only because James was great, sweet, and helpful. And I was able to select the dress I liked. However, if I knew what was going to happen after, I would never come here. The dress was dirty, and I got a discount on it. James said it needed some minor alterations and gave me the phone number of a seamstress Heidi. As far as I was concerned about the dress, dry cleaning was my priority. I bought the dress on Thursday night and needed it by Sunday. I connected with Heidi, who said that she'd do alterations and cleaning for me. Because I raised my concerns about the cleaningness of the dress and my priority to do that instead of alterations, she was fully aware of my situation but told me to come in the morning to Queens. To make a long story short, I spent over $200 on Uber to bring the dress on Friday morning before my work and then to pick up late at night. When I brought the dress home, I realized, Heidi (real name Hatice) not only didn't clean it, she didn't fix one of the most important parts - missing hooks that are essential for me to be able to wear the dress (see pics). She did a poor job with alterations (threads are sticking out). There are marks from a red pencil she used. And she charged me $220!!! I called her, and she sent me back $40. Nevertheless, it's Saturday before the ceremony. My day is planned to the minute. And I don't have a dress I can wear. I recommend the New York Dress for buying dresses but stay away from their referrals. What a scam!”
