Dress is superp quality but customer service is just plain horrible. Was not given any tracking details and shipping took longer than stated on website. Customer service requested I pay expidited shipping same day I finally received the dress!! Unbelievable but true.

I purchase three dresses for my daughter, she did not like one of the dress. I am not happy when I was told I will be charged a 15% restock fee and I will be given credit for the balance. Not happy with this policy.

The variety is good, website easy to navigate. However, a policy of not accepting returns or exchanges on any merchandise is unacceptable. It is not possible to know if a garment is going to work until it is tried on. Due to time constraints for an upcoming event, I was forced to order several dresses, knowing I'd have to return at least two (which I did) and eat the costs. I do not think I will be using NYD again.

I am a first time customer . Purchasing of my dress was relatively easy and the dress arrived in sturdy packaging ; however , the dress I received had a long tear along the seam. I believe the website sold me a defective dress as the packaging had not been tampered with when it arrived . I was very disappointed as I bought the dress for a destination wedding and was forced to look for tailoring services in an international country last minute . I likely will not be purchasing with this company again .

Bought this dress for my 50th this July. Disappointed because material seemed cheap rather than something you would expect for $400 dress. Ended up having to custom order a dress for $1050.

Dress was nice but fired too small. The day I received the dress I tried it on and sent an email out to let you know about an issue and asked for change of the dress size but the support was not really there. I purchased twice from ny dresses.com and I suggested friends and family as well which they purchased from your web. Not satisfied!

I ordered the Cinderella Divine CH182 Dress Rose-Gold in a size 8 based on the size chart, but the dress is huge; I recommend trying the dress in person before purchasing since the sizing seems very off

I was not satisfied with my dress. I ordered a pink color Jovani dress 02245BG for my brother's wedding. Before placing my order, I called NYdress customer service and the rep confirmed that the color I'm seeing in the picture (light pink) is the same as the one I'm getting. I received a dark (rose) pink dress, almost 5 shades darker than the one in the picture. And to add on top of this disappointment the dress was final sale, so they wouldn't accept a return. I had to purchase another dress to wear to the wedding from a different store to wear.

The dress was very small for stated size ( I even sized up ) AND when I tried to return, you deducted a "restocking fee" which was not mentioned anywhere in the ordering or check out process! This is extremely unfair business - taking money from people at will!

One of the dresses (the black one) was very very small even though 8 is my size. It was not slightly small it was almost half my size. As for the second dress the fit was ok however the colour was much brighter than the one in the picture.

The dress order kept on being cancelled because they ran out of stock on the site. To make matters worse, they would only send the email that the order didn’t go through a couple days later which had me worried since prom was getting closer and closer. The lady also advised me on getting the wrong dress size, but it was too close to prom for me to return it because of how delayed my delivery was.

unfortunately the descriptionwas not accurate. it said it was beaded but was much more sequined tan beaded. its fit was not becoming due to the boning being used to shape the breast cup. the were stiff and deformed that part of the dress. i am returning this dress. for the price, the quality of construction and materials were not there.

i have to say your FINAL SALE policy is NOT customer service friendly and it is NOT well relayed on the website. i believe you should have to check a singular box and agree to a FINAL SALE agreement that is very clearly worded and obvious. i understand that evening wear has a high potential for return fraud; but there is a way to tag your gowns that will discourage customers from attempting to wear and return them. And i have never shopped on any other website in the last 20 years that does not allow returns within a reasonable time period. It is just good customer service to allow a client to try on a piece of clothing that they have never seen in person before with a return grace period.

I am not pleased that I can’t return the dress that I purchased. You stated that due to COVID you can’t accept returns however all other stores still give returns during this time

I received the dress in a timely manner however the zipper stuck on several places so I couldn’t try it on without tipping the material or breaking the zipper! So I’m spending more $$$ to have the zipper removed and put back in correctly! It’s really put a crunch for me to even try it on before the evening o need it!!!!

Quality of dress is bad, quality of fabric is bad, quality of lace is horrible. Sloppy work I could not return it,it is over 700$ I lost,and I will not wear it.I am going to sell it on Ebay,hopefully I can get 100$, never again
