Short stay1 car park could do with some more disabled bays. Really struggled to find a bay let alone a disabled one. Also without fail the ANPR can NEVER recognise my personal registration number and I have to contact an operative which is very embarrassing when there is a queue of cars behind you. This has been happening for years now and really needs sorting out. Otherwise Newcastle airport parking is good.

Parking was fine. The problem I always seem to have is at the exit barrier. When I insert the ticket the machine always asks for a payment even thought I’ve pre booked and paid. Therefore I always need to speak to operator who checks the registration of car then raises the barrier.

Overall good but parking becoming expensive, now going to get taxi as its cheaper.having used parking 3 times in the last 5 months a loyalty card system would be good.dont lose customers.

4 stars, would have been 5 if the lettering on the poles ie C in our case was illuminated however, I believe the improvements to the car parking is incorporating this. Other wise great 👍

Prices increasing, shuttle bus removed, no special rates for using the site numerous times in a year. Fixed price return Taxi prices from South Shields now slightly less so will be using them in future especially when taking into account the added fuel price to drive there in my own car.

I always seem to have problems with the technical side of parking at the airport eg barrier won't open as it hasn't recognised number plate or flight changes and have to amend car parking etc however the staff at the car parking office have always been so very helpful and pleasant, nothing is too much trouble - they are great ! What I don't like is when you ring the airport is, automated voice refers you to the website or to email someone however the reason most people ring is because they have a problem that can't be solved online via the website or waiting for a response via email it's usually urgent/complicated. So a manned customer service would be nice and also not being charged for the phone call would be even better!

One star dropped due to poor directions to the Premium Fast Track parking area, we ended up at the Premium Meet & Greet area and had to get help from the operator to release us from there. On the return leg of our holiday the machine asked that I pay for 14 nights parking - A quick conversation with the operator and we were released and on our way. Suggest checking on line maps and airport instructions more than we did.

It is always easy to book and the car park is very handy, no matter what area you park in, however it about time the number plate recognition system worked correctly, I always have to insert the parking ticket, that is never recognised, and call the operator and wait for the barrier to be opened.
