“This was a very convenient way of parking our car and cost effective too. However, we had a problem when we tried to leave the car park late on the Saturday night. The ticket we had would not lift the barrier and when we pressed the help button we were told that the machine did not recognise our private number plate. The lady did lift the barrier for us but it would be a good idea to let people know of this problem. Would definitely use the service again though.”

“The online process was very good, clear and easy to use. On arriving at Newcastle Airport car park in the early afternoon I was surprised at how full the car parks were, many were already closed. I had to drive around until I found a space, the whole thing was completely random. That was ok, but I had assumed that when you booked you would have been allocated a particular car park. On the way home the service bus came just as we left the airport and so we didn't have to wait at all and the car park we were in happened to be the first stop. However, on leaving the car park we got stuck in a jam due to the fact that the barrier machines were not registering any of the pre paid bookings and some poor assistant had to keep hopping from one barrier to the other over-riding them manually. This was a real shame. Having said that I would definitely use the on site parking again.”

“Convenient and pretty close to the airport. It's a pity you have to pay a pound to use the short stay car park even to drop your bags off at the door. As it would make getting on and off the complimentary bus a lot easier and faster.”

“Ideal location, easy access into the car park and close to the airport entrance, I use short stay park whenever given the option, on my last visit it was quite full and I had to park in the outer areas of the park which doesn't provide easy pedestrian access to the airport.”

“After entering our parking space we went to the bus stop No 15. after waiting for 20 mins a bus came along that was full and the driver would not pick anyone up, by this time there were 15 people waiting at the stop. We rang the help line and were told that they would get a bus along asap. More people arrived and also a second bus again that was full but dropped people off but would but pick anyone up. Called help line again and was told that the area was closed, we told operator that no barrier was down and a lot of people were driving into the area and waiting. it ended up that about 30-35 people had to walk to the terminal. Which after waiting 40 mins by now we were really peeved off!!. TOTALLY DISORGINISED”

“For the last two journeys away we have experienced trouble finding our car.This was probably our fault but could it be possible to display the alphabet car parking more prominent when leaving the airport.The entry/exit online etc was good.”

“Although I pre booked for parking I had to pick a departure day that found the car park very full, Thank god you have added to the capacity of the car parks. I had to drive around the car park for ages trying to find a space, this was not your fault is was all those other people who took there holidays at the same time as me. The courtesy bus was quick both on departure and my return. I always find that Newcastle airport has a really good parking service weld one to all those who help this service run.”

“Pick-up bus was posted missing and a queue formed quickly - some chose to walk but with a pregnant wife and two kids, plus luggage, that wasn't an option for us. After some used the helpline to call for the bus, one finally arrived and made it to the airport for checking in. Thankfully there was no such problem on our return, however this was dinner time compared to our pickup which was early morning. Overall no issues with the car - safe parking & reasonably priced, so cant complain and would certainly use again.”

“The only issue we had was that when our return flight was delayed we were unable to contact anyone to get advice on potential excess charges. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star rating.”

“Really easy to use to leave the car at the airport. Little on the pricey side and after upgrading to short stay it looks a little more expensive than a couple of taxi's would have been. Might need to look at the cost to attract more people. Whilst it was convenient I could have done it cheaper in 2 taxi's. I paid a little over £60 pounds for 2 weeks. Realistically more people would use it if it were cheaper and the return would be higher due to the number of customers. I would estimate that at least 50% of enquiries on price don't result in a sale. Even with voucher codes etc it still puts additional cost onto your holiday. I might think twice next time about using the service.”

“No problems going. Found a space, parked and caught coutesy bus to entrance. Forgot to make a note of exactly where parked. Can't think of a solution at present. Perhaps a stamp machine at the bus stops with the number on. So you get off at the same stop you got on. Quite a queue at the exit. People were having to reverse and go to the office. So maybe an escape lane so others are not held up while they sort out why their ticket problems.”

“Easy to book online and get reduced rate. Very large car park, well organized and safe. Can take some time driving round to find a space as it is very popular. If you have booked there will be a space for you, just a matter of finding it as there are many car parks. Before you get on the free shuttle bus to the terminal make a note of which car park you are in and the bus shelter number as some car parks have more than one. Makes finding you're car easier, especially in the middle of the night.”
