The only problem I had was when I was leaving the car park as the number plate recognition system didn't work and I had to phone in order to exit

everything worked fine apart from leaving when the ticket barrier wouldn't recognise our ticket. Soon sorted by the nice men in the cabin but just glad it wasn't the middle of a cold and rainy night.

We were very happy with parking facilities which were so close to the terminal. The drop off was OK once we'd located the car park. On return from 28 degrees of sunshine, the car was not at the office waiting area ready for us to drive away as the parking company, somehow, had us down on the wrong flight. We had to wait whilst the car was found and warmed up, which wasn't quite as we had imagined the service. Would possibly use the service again if flying from Newcastle.

Your camera's did not recognise my registration and I had difficulty exiting the car park on my return. It took a while for the office to respond and I had a queue of cars behind me

the cost of parking is alway the main issue. your charges are expensive, but just cheaper than using the airport taxi service for a short two day trip, which is the most common use of your facilities.

Arrived in car park at lunchtime on a freezing cold day. We parked near a courtesy bus stop and waited for 15 minutes but no bus came round. We ended up walking to departures and at the entrance to the car park were two courtesy buses and one other courtesy vehicle. Do they all take lunch breaks at the same time. Needles to say we were freezing cold when we entered departures. A week later was a different story. We arrived late at night and the bus was there straight away.

The park and ride is a good idea and works very well. However, there are issues. Travellers board the bus at various places around the car park route. They all leave the bus at the same place. The bus stops at the bus stop and passengers have to exit the bus via the front door, struggling past returning passengers. Both of which have luggage. On returning passengers all board the bus at the same time but leave the bus at various places around the route. If you are at the rear of the bus and want to disembark early on the route you still have to get luggage past other passengers to reach the front door. All of these issues could easily be rectified by allowing the middle door to open. Problem solved.

It would be better if we could park closer to the airport as we used to. What about some kind of discount for frequent flyers?

Its easy to book on line, get a discount, choose where you park & the cost. Getting out is a different matter, you will of course have your receipt & booking confirmation with you to get out, but pressing that button & the wait for an answer before the gate lifts can see you wait an extra five minutes before you start your journey home ...

Placed ticket in machine it said needed to pay extra we had plenty of time left. Had to press for help gave ref no and reg no allowing us to leave. We think it might be with being in a 4x4 vehicle and the number plate up higher than a normal car.

We've parked at Newcastle Long Stay Car Park a few times now when going on holiday. Everything has been fine, you take your ticket when the camera reads your number plate, and park your car yourself. Then take the Courtesy Bus to the terminal building. Pick your car back up on return from you holiday, put the ticket in the barrier and drive off. If everything goes to plan it all works fine, if you have a problem with your car on return, as we did this time, you have problems. We arrived back late at night to find we had a flat battery on our car. I tried to contact the car park office to see if they had someone with a van that could jump start us. The phone number on our paperwork went to a call centre that was only open office hours. Despite looking online, I could find no phone number to contact the car park office directly. This is very unhelpful on a cold, dark, winters night. To add to it, after we called the RAC out to jump start us, the car park attendant made the breakdown van take a ticket and were going to charge him to get back out. A shocking state of affairs when he'd only come in to assist one of their customers. Very unprofessional. Eventually, after I had to go in the office to get my ticket activated again as it wouldn't work the barrier, they let the breakdown truck out without charging him...as they should have done in the first place. It makes me wary of using their services, and therefore the airport again, I've never had this trouble at Leeds/Bradford, which isn't much further to fly from.

I was quite pleased with the short stay car parking , but a bit dissapointed with the charges, as we had to come home because of a bereavment. I was booked in the first time from the 5th of Jjan untill the 23rd of jan, however I came out of the car park on the 17th of Jan, and rebooked from the 26th of Jan untill we came back again on 28th of Jan. i just thought my second booking was a little expensive. I would have thought I would have got a little allowance for the 4 days I did not use on my first booking Any way thankyou again Regards Peter Tate

No sign of the shuttle bus, would be handy if the stops could tell you how long the wait was. We walked from carpark to terminal and back again on our return. Apart from that the system worked fine.

Parked the car ...no problem. However when I came to exit, the barrier would not open, said I owed £82. Contacted the control room who asked to call in with my prepaid ticket. This is the second year this has happened to me. Apparently the exit barrier does not recognise personal number plates!!! Ridiculous and no warnings anywhere.

Signs from to the long term car park aren't good when its raining as they are different to normal Road signs. Why can't ye use the same font and colours as the public road? Main grip was the confusion as to where to get the bus from terminal. The signs inside are rubbish and lead you to a hotel courtesy bus stand! An A4 laminated sheet on the bus stand was the only positive clue. 4 to 5 different groups of people of different ages ( schoolkids to 80s) all got lost and couldn't find it so I felt that I wasn't the only idiot trying to find the appropriate bus stop. I booked online an your website is ok however it doesn't immediately tell you what to do when you come back to to the terminal. I.e. do you need to validate your ticket in the pay machine ... I had to look it up which I shouldn't hzve to The bus and Drivers on both occasions were very good and friendly and shouuted out the bus stop number. Pleases improve your signs and you y

The security and politeness were good however, the "Meet and Greet" which I paid for was definitely lacking in that you are not met at the terminal or departure or arrival and have to take your vehicle and collect it from the parking area. In fairness this area is adjacent to the terminal but "Meet and Greet" at other airports includes driving up to the terminal entrance for your vehicle to be collected and upon return for the vehicle to again be waiting for you at the terminal entrance. I cannot say what benefits are to be had from paying extra for a service that was really non-existent. I could have paid less and dropped and collected my car from the same parking area.

Your number plate recognition system does not recognise my personal plate even though it is a legal UK number plate and as such I have trouble exiting every time. Despite repeatedly informing you of this fault you fail to rectify the problem. Why ask for feedback if you are not going to act?
