Better than a taxi if you live a distance from airport, and will be better when work outside terminal building finished which is a pain when its chucking it down and you have to struggle through works with a case etc.

Large areas of the car park were closed, while those in use were FULL. There were no blue badge spaces available

Main problem the ticket on departure from the car park never registers and I always have to use the attendant to get out.

As a regular visitor it is disappointing that the only discount offers are on premium fast track bookings which means I book elsewhere

As we are disabled we found it very difficult to get a disabled parking space. We always have trouble. On the way back to the car we ended up on a bus full of people, half of whom didn't put their bags in the racks. When we tried to get off it, it was a case of trying to get our case's out of the rack & get off the bus with the aisle full of people & suitcases. You need a big disabled car park close enough as to not need the bus. You should also be able to book a disabled parking space. At least you then know you are guaranteed a disabled space near to the airport.

Have used this service for years but recently they hiked up their prices considerably, so now not such a good option, will consider other methods.

Booked & paid for car parking in advance. Booking process easy, car parking very handy for airport and car park recently upgraded. On leaving the car park, we were faced with £75 bill at the barrier, despite having pre-booked and prepaid in advance. Not sure what happened, but had to contact customers services to get the issue sorted, before we could leave the airport.

I always use Newcastle airport parking as it is more convenient for me with me being disabled, however the past 2 times I have booked i have been unable to get into a disabled bay which i need due to a lot of the car parks being closed for some reason even though there are lots of visible empty spaces. This has been very frustrating and inconvenient as i have to struggle to find another suitable space this time all the way up at the furthest end near bus stop 15 and it was not a disabled bay. I think with the price of the parking there should always be the relevant spaces available ( I know they are subject to availability) but it does not help when most of the car parks are closed and blocked with cones.

The courtesy bus was a farce. Took a long time to arrive by which time a big queue had developed. The driver got everyone on. so there were cases in the aisle and people trying to get off couldn't get past them. In the darkness I would have thought the stops would have been announced. Don't suppose the bus belongs to the car parking company anyway.

As for all airports charges are excessive,but reason for low rating is a lack of directional aids into departure from short term two during improvement work. It’s not a good situation in pouring rain at 3.30am.

We booked the long stay carpark for a weeks trip to Ibiza. Unfortunately there was very heavy rain both on our outbound and return journey. Although fairly reasonably priced both trips were rather chaotic. The buses were very busy ; on the return trip we waited some time for the bus and you struggled to get your luggage when you arrived at your bus stop as the driver was also picking up pqssengers to return to the airport. I would suggest 1 bus going to the airport and 1 coming back. Not sure I would use this stressful service again.

I love Newcastle airport but have to say I wasn’t thrilled using the long stay car park. I parked my car and went to the shelter to catch the transfer bus. A sign said to use the phone in the shelter to call for the bus. The phone didn’t work (stop 6). I walked to another shelter where other people were waiting and a bus did arrive. When leaving the car park I put my ticket in the green flashing slot (seemed obvious to me) but after many unsuccessful attempts and aware of cars behind me I pressed for help and was told I needed to put my ticket in the red slot. I’ll hold my hands up here and say I didn’t have my reading glasses on but that colour system seems wrong to me. I was very flustered!!

The car parking is handy for the airport with good signage, however we had a very long wait for the courtesy bus when we returned (on a cold, rainy night). Prices are going up and although we used a discount code, I think we will be looking at alternatives for our next trip as the value for money and service isn’t as good as it used to be.

When I got to the ticket barrier and inserted ticket I was asked to pay a further £111.00 the machine did not return my ticket! Luckily u I had my paperwork with me went to the office and a new ticket was issued to me so that I could exit.

Car parking barrier stopped me from exiting the car park although I had prepaid - said I had to pay £111.00 to exit. I required assistance from staff member on the desk - did not find him particularly helpful. Queues at passport control were very long and slow moving - not what you want when you arrive late at night. Seemed quite wasteful to have 2 officers just sitting at their booth whilst passengers were struggling with automated

We have found we have to pay drop off and pick up fees as well as long term parking when holidaying with my elderly parents as they are unable to ascend/descent the shuttle bus to and from the long term car parking. This can be costly when travelling with an elderly wheelchair chair user and luggage for four people, as it takes time to load the car. The fees for short term pick up parking is extortionate for up to 30 minutes. Also recently I needed to collect someone from the airport after holiday and was astounded at being charged to drive in and load up less than 5 minutes as they were wanting for me in the carpark.

The signage to the new meet and greet car park is poor, making it difficult to locate the entrance gate There was a shortage of seating in departure lounge if anyone chose not to go into the bars etc

When we where leaving. The machine said that we owed 58 GBP. Which did not make sense since we prepaid. But it seemed 2 cars next to us had similar problems. We called for help. And they let us go. There was a glitch.. you should take care off these systems better. People get a bit of a fright... Ps. Pressed the call button for help and waited for a long...time.
