“Everthing was relatively easy except the exit. Despite entering the ticket correctly it was not processed and we had to call for assistance. Our ref number confimed that we were Ok and the help came quickly. We just had a moment of concern.”

“Easy to book, medium stay parking was only a short walk to the terminal building, ANPR registers the car in/out so no problems at the barrier even though we had given ourselves plenty of time to anticipate delays. I would like to think the car was bring monitored while we were away but no damage on return which is always a bonus in a public car park.”

“Everything worked fine until we tried to exit the car park the machine did not read my ticket and it showed an excess of £85 to pay after trying to exit the car park again and with a queue building up behind me I decided to contact the controller after explaining the situation the barrier was raised and I was on my way butI retained the ticket as a precaution to being overcharged.”

“As always finding spare places in the early hours when its still dark is a problem ,which way to tun for the entrance to section A or C etc. Another point of concern, again its when its dark,cold or wet is the frequency of the buses. It can cold standing in your bus shelters and wearing extra clothing you then have to carry on holiday becomes an issue.”

“Good parking facility, But as for the shuttle bus what bus ? Me and my partner waited for 20mins but no bus appeared, so we had to walk to airport !”

“Newcastle Airport has excellent parking facilities, covering a vast area to he north of the Airport itself. Most of the year, there of plenty of spaces - only in the height of Summer Holiday time, things can be a bit tight but the staff do their best to manage, opening reserve areas and allowing some parking on the perimeter road. Although a regular shuttle bus operates, my wife and I prefer to walk - it isn't too far. My only gripe would be that, quite often, the nearest zones are the first to be cordoned off. There must be a reason but I have never worked it out to my satisfaction. Still, convenience and good value are the order of the day - but make sure you use go online before booking to find the various codes available to make it cheaper - they can make a big difference!!!”

“The parking is convenient and reasonably price for this sort of service. On my last trip the driver of the bus taking us from the parking to the terminal was especially helpful. As we parke we saw a bus approaching the nearby stop. The driver saw us and waited for us to get there. Once on board I became concerned because I could not remember locking my car in the rush. I asked the driver if he could let me off so that I could go back and check. His response was to drive back to our stop and wait for me while I checked my car. Really helpful, courteous and appreciated. Thank you. ( I had forgotten to lock my car!)”

“Very good on site car parking within a very short walk to the airport, there is a bus to transfer to the airport but unless it's raining it's quicker to walk. Easy to book online...would not consider other sites where I have to leave my car keys!”

“I use this car park every month and it's a great facility. Short-term car park within a very short walking distance of the Terminal. Just a couple of observations - the website needs to be looked at. I never receive confirmation on the website that my transaction has been successful - I always need to wait for the e-mail to confirm my booking. And how do I register on the website? I'd love to register onlne so that I don't have to enter my details every time but there seems to be no way to do it.”

“I choose to pay a little extra and park in the short stay car park. I have previously used meet and greet, which is the same distance as short stay from the terminal. On a previous visit my car was damaged by the meet and greet team, however they would not accept responsibility. With meet and greet you have no control of where your car is parked and who is parking it. For another £5 (over two/three days) you can park in short stay, pick your spot and know that no-one will be driving your car. Pre-booking online does save some money and also means that on exit you just drive off, put your ticket in the exit machine and don't have to think about payment”
