I feel that if parking has been paid for in advance ticket should be issued which could be simply scanned to get back out of the barriers instead of having to go into the office to have parking ticket verified. Overall the parking is fine.

Why are all the car parking spaces near the entry and exit gate are not available ,the last three times we have parked within your park we needed to wait for the bus because to far to walk

parking could have been easier if there were disabled parking spaces. i had a disabled daughter and mother and 3 suit cases to get onto the bus but getting them to the bus wasnt easy. i have used the off site parking last year and it was so much easier than your on site parking.

i arrived back in Newcastle after a late flight. The ticket I had did not trigger the release of the barrier when I tried to exit the car park. I had to park up and visit the cabin. The staff there quickly established my identity and provided me with a new ticket. BUT, clarting on at the exit is the last thing you need after a busy day.

more accurate signage when car parks are full would be helpful.drove around three car parks before finding a vacant space.other than that the vehicle recognition system worked well for exit.

Fairly long wait for bus to and from car park and at 3 in the morning was no joke!

(1) Entry signage required a very rapid change of lane, from right to left (from drop-off to car parks). (2) Bays for cars rather narrow.

My expectations of the meet and greet car parking were not met. The payment of the extra money was not good value. Admittedly it was the nearest car park to the terminal, and someone parked my car in it. We then walked to the terminal. On return no one brought the car to the terminal, we walked to the same car park. True the walking distance is very small, but the extra cost is not justified.

Although we paid on line etc, we were unable to exit and had to call into office for a further ticket to be printed, this was not hardship to us personally, as it was 1.am the people behind us in the queue seemed to be a bit miffed

ludicrously expensive as usual - over £30 to leave a car just standing still for just over 24 hours

Overall, Newcastle Parking works well, with easy online booking, good staff (when you need to speak with them, which isn't often because of the online experience) and easy access to the airport itself. Disappointingly, however, comments from a previous review have clearly fallen on deaf ears. It has galled me every time since then to arrive and see the car parks to my left and my right out of use. In the past six or seven years I think I have parked in each one time apiece only. Even more irritating is to see the two cars parks ahead of me at the roundabout not just empty, but completely out of commission. Last time I mentioned that I was told they were being repaved - is that being repaved with good intentions? Because I sure haven't seen any sign of that in the past couple of years. What gives? It makes no sense to me to make your customers walk further than necessary (by choice I don't take the bus but in any case find its operation intermittent), and it's about time that they were put back into use, to our obvious benefit. Parking is fine as close to departures. Expensive for shorter stays & it is difficult to get out at the barriers, I prepay but still have to wait upto 5 minutes plus for somebody to let me out 2 out of 3 times.

Ticket on last three or four occasions has not worked on exit. Each time I press the button to contact Customer Services when my parking reference is checked the barrier is then lifted. On a couple of occasions the operator has said it is because I have a private plate - surely this is a system error that can be resolved to avoid the inconvenience?

Good, as a first time user I would help if I had been advised how to use the system. I.e. Drive in. Take the ticket and then present it when going out. Simple but as a first time user of the airport and car park. It would have been less stressful had I known how to work the system.

AS USUAL WHEN WE GOT TO THE MACHINE ON LEAVING CARPARK THE TICKET DID NOT WORK AND WE HAD TO GO INTO THE OFFICE TO GET THE TICKET CHANGED. THIS IS HAPPENING ALL THE TIME AND MAKES ME WONDER WHAT IS THE POINT OF MACHINES, YOU MIGHT AS WELL PUT A PERSON ON AS YOU HAVE TO GO AND FIND ONE ANYWAY TO GET OUT.

Bus pickup was fine but still overpriced.

Arrived and no sign of shuttle buses (saw two parked at customer service building) so walked briskly for 5 mins to airport. Upon return at night I could see many signs for other shuttles but not for long stay and no one in airport could direct me. There was no sign at the pay station to say where the shuttle pick up was. So I walked in the dark and cold. It seems the shuttle comes to the entrance at the international arrivals and they only send bus if they see someone on CCTV waiting there. So, feedback is better signage to shuttle pick up from both ends of airport and if a car drives in to carpark, assume they will want a shuttle and set off please .
