On return when leaving the car park i inserted the ticket & barrier did not open - had to go to the customer service cabin & ticket had to be validated !!! These things happen but obviously when you have paid in advance & just want to away it does become an inconvenience !!!! Other small point - why is parking area A not in use which is the closest to the airport around the customer service cabin. Obviously not everyone can get into A but it seemed to be a massive waste of space especially at 4.00 am in the morning when you just want to park quickly & close to the terminal building.

Easy to book; easy to park but dreadful to exit. Have used twice in the last two weeks and despite leaving earlier than time booked to it has said I have exceeded time. Frustration when you are keen to get home

We use this Parking about 3 times each year and the bus frequency from/to has improved this year. But now I have a problem getting out the car park as the automatic system does not recognise my personal number plate?? Tried to overcharge me on the way out? You must get your computer system sorted out! JS

I paid extra for flexible booking as due to an illness in my family in China it was always likely that my return date may change. I telephoned your office from Dubai airport so that I may pay by card for the extra day. This was not possible so I returned to your car park with additional hassle whilst heavily jet lagged and without sleep for 24 hrs. I think you have charged me for a service that you could not fullfill

Large areas closer to the terminal blocked off for no apparent reason are frustrating

I guess the parking is ok overall but there are one or two issues - large sections of the car parking area can be blocked off making it difficult to find a space - depending on how far you drove into a parking zone, to get out, you can have a long drive back and forth along all the rows remaining in that block. The 'Exit' is not clearly signposted and there isn't a throughway at each end of a row, only every alternate, opposite end - hence the irritating drive back and forth - especially irritating when you are tired after a long haul flight. On the plus side - the system of paying in advance and number plate recognition at the barrier (albeit with a ticket issued by the machine at the barrier) works well and saves money - the buses are big enough to take nearly everyone waiting at the bus stops - at some airports you have to wait for the little bus to go round again - the buses go round frequently, or at quiet times, if not circulating continuously, will come immediately if you call using the telephone in the bus shelter - the drivers are very friendly - the staff in the office/cabin at the exit are efficient and helpful if you have to pay or sort out a problem. So full marks to staff and buses, the payment system, and entry & exit mechanism, but the design layout of the parking sectors could be improved, as could operation of the overall car park in deciding whether to open or close individual sectors.

There were good instructions for admission to the car park, but none for leaving. I did not understand that the parking ticket on arrival would identify my car on leaving. I went to car park office, the ticket was tested and I was told it would work on exit. This could have been avoided, if the instructions explained this excellent technological advance.

Used the short stay park for the first time. Very convienient a fifty yard walk from the terminal However the exit machine did not recognise my ticket and I was sent back to a pay machine which tried to charge a very large amount for a one week stay On contacting the help desk and giving the car registration nember the computer had no record of my booking. A booking reference number finally got us out of the park So if you have a problem make sure that you have both booking reference and car number to sort out a problem

Not to far to walk to the terminal which is just as well as the shuttle bus does not seem to run that often especially out of season its a pity the empty car parks nearer the entrance do not seem to be in use

I had a good experience at Newcastle airport (departures and arrivals) however I feel I should mention when walking from the plane to the terminal I slipped on the icy ground and fell. I got up quickly and felt fine however I did actually hurt my lower back quite badly. Please can you ensure some kind of precautions are taken going forward as I feel this to be a real hazard. This won't stop me using the airport as it is the closest one to me but it does make me think how well you prepare for weather and it's effects with regards to passengers safety.

The car park is quoted as being a few minutes walk from the terminal, it is not, i'm seventy years of age, not unfit and neither is my wife, but the walk, pulling luggage was a daunting prospect in the rain and cold. I will not be using this car park again.

Easy to book online, entrance to park simple, quick and easy, on exit when we returned our prepaid ticket did not work only to be told by a very rude person that we were not on the list, I gave our name and reg no, there was no apology or anything and the barrier went up. Not very good customer service at all..

No better or worse than other airport parking. I really object to being ripped off each time I drop someone off at this airport, so to save a couple of quid I try to get visitors to fly to somewhere else. It's cutting off my nose to spite my face, because it costs more in time & fuel, but I hate this kind of money grubbing activity.

Any chance you can stop or clamp people who park at the end of the parking bays where there is no white lines? It makes getting into and out of the car park difficult. Also there seems to be a lot of empty car parks closer to the terminal. Why is this?
