Firstly, the search feature seems incapable of picking-up on keywords. I saw this item in store, but the packaging was damaged, so I decided I'd order it online. In store, the item was labelled 'Clare Cat Bed Socks'. This did not come up in the search at all. I had a look through socks on the women's department, and could not see these socks anywhere, but could see 'Fox/Penguin/Oatmeal Sock In A Box' so thought maybe searching for 'Cat Sock In A Box' would work. Nope. Apparently, this item would only appear if one searched for BLACK sock in a box. I'm not even going to get into the fact that whilst scrolling through the women's" sock page I was presented with men's socks!? Secondly, once item was added to basket, the basket/checkout link at the top of the screen disappeared entirely. Refreshing the page made no difference. I had to re-add the item so that the little dialog box would appear again, in order to get to the checkout. Finally, once completing 'stage 5' of the ordering process - entering my payment details - there was no link to press in order to submit payment! I was stuck on stage 5. Couldn't go anywhere. Checked, checked, and checked again and everything I had inputted was correct, green ticks next to every box, but no 'submit' or 'continue' button. Couldn't paid if I tried. Incredibly irritating. Decided to use Internet Explorer instead, worked fine, must be a problem with the website's compatibility with Google Chrome. Will not be ordering online again.

tried to put more money on the voucher 2 minutes after placing order and told not possible, tried to cancel order and told couldnt do it, asked for manager and told they can put the money back in 3-5 days ha ha ? .....and all from,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yep you got it......India, we need Donald Trump here to stop the money going abroad, put our people in work, people we can understand and trust our card numbers are not stolen, I`ll let you know when the money is back in my account.....Grumpy Pip

Last week I ordered Nike shoes and was sent an old used shoes. I was told that the warehouse had mixed up returned items with the new ones. This week placed an order for my sweatshirt for next day delivery amd thus has not arrived till now. Called customer service umpteen times but in vain ????????

have order ugg boots on Thursday to be delivered on Friday never came so phoned said I would get them Saturday but never came so phoned them wee will deliver them tomorrow for you o they are out off stock then they hang up on me so still not any the wiser off whats happening seams to me they should get a decent courier service as herms are terrible will not be shopping with next again

I went into my local next which was the wandsworth branch 6/11/2016 I had trouble finding a few sizes which I would have thought would have been frustrating for someone to deal with but a really lovely lady called charley helped and acted as if nothing was too big ... found everything I needed including a nice present for my wife for christmas

If I could rate this less I would. Ordered complete set of bedroom furniture on 3rd July. It took 3 weeks for the wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables to come. The bed did not arrive till late September which meant we were sleeping on a mattress for 3 months. We have contacted the complaints department over 5 times and have only received a response once. PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM the service was disgusting and when the bed did turn up it was scuffed to bits! Absolutely terrible I will not order from them again.

I have been a account holder for many years. Spent 1000s of pounds. Reason for this is mainly because the next day deliver... latey I am being drawn to shop at other outlets. NEXT I'm sorry to say, the reason I use next is for the next day delivery, I recently ordered 7 jackets, 5 of which were 3 weeks delivery.i cancelled the whole order and shopped else where. This is happening everytime I order latey. Never had a problem with customer service, store assistance are very helpful too but you should not offer a service that you cannot give....

I would like to say what a excellent customer service I have had from shaista from the complaint department I rang up Thursday to say my light had not arrive and I had book next day delivery before 1 took my details and say she y ring me back in about 1/2 hour which she did she explained she could not got hold of the driver and she will ring me back about 7-8 Thursday night which she did still could not get hold of the driver she apology that she was not in until Monday but would got someone to ring Friday morning I miss the call but they left a message say be delivery today which it wasn't so I ring back Friday night they could not got hold of driver but said it be sat before 1 on sat someone ring to say it might get up to 4 clock it come at 1 shaista said she would ring Monday night about 7-8 and she did excellent service from start to finish Mrs Mcnulty Sent from my iPad

On trying to order folklore curtains on line, on Friday the 23rd Sept 16 at £ 90.00 a pair, they where all out of stock. They where going in the sale on the 24 th Sept 16, (so where taken off for account holders to purchase early, ref customer services). I was willing to buy then at £90, but I could'nt. Wanted to buy other folklore goods 2x12 dinner sets £30 a set, 2x mugs £12 a set and 2x wallpaper £15 a roll, total price £204.00. None of which I will be purchasing, due to curtains being sold out. Marks and Spencer allow card holders to purchase on line before sale starts, they take it off at the checkout, so it's still available to none card holders, at the full price, this is something next should think about, so next have lost a £204.00 sale, due to having no curtains.

Literally sick to death of trying to order clothes for my son online and every item I seem to choose is SOLD OUT! Why is there never enough stock? This has been the case on a numerous amount of occasions, it's really frustrating and Next should be more prepared for high demand

Ehm ordered 2 pairs of jeans from their website but had to do over phone as didn't have my password for online banking so they took card details on phone and said I couldn't pick up from store for security reasons and that it would have to be my address at first which cost £3.99 which were supposed to arrive next day which was bit of pain to wait in. So luckily I phoned them that day as they said w were having problems with deliveries and wouldn't get to during week which was no good to me as I as working so we arranged for me to pick up in store which would have been easier on Mon and got the postage supposedly payed back onto my card but then the strangest thing happend they arrived at my door saying one of the neibor had parcel which this wasent to be the case and instead of 2 pairs jeans they were 3 which 2 pairs was the same?? And when I looked at my online statement they had took it upon themselves to open an account for £900! Absolutely a disgrace they didnt know wot they were doing at all on phone, it's a shame as there stuff fits like a glove but probs with deliveries now I am going to have to sort all this mess out.

I cant tell you how angry and disappointed I am with this company. All they have done is let me down. First I ordered a suit for next day delivery before 12 and they rang me at 2pm saying the payment on my American express hasn't gone through and need my address when I was six years old but only had my credit card for 1 year. DOESNT MAKE SENSE!! Then they got the suit sent out but the delivery driver rang me saying he hasn't got the whole suit as the stores haven't sorted it out. 2 hours later they sorted the suit out and it got delivered with a hole in it. so we couldn't wear it. Rang next obviously very upset and annoyed but they arranged fed ex to collect the ruined suit and didn't let me know it arrived back at next. 1 week later I have been chasing a refund, they informed me they couldn't find the hole in the suit. lucky for them I took a picture because I knew this would happen. SUCH A JOKE! now they are finally refunding me after 2 weeks of fighting.. worse company ever.

After a stressful day touring many stores in the Manchester area for dining room furniture items, we arrived at Next Elk mill store in Oldham. Having been bombarded with sales talk and warned that "these prices will double by tomorrow etc." It was like entering a different world. The staff at Next were superb. No harassment, no pressure or sales talk. just pleasant helpful staff. Adele, Marme, and Nadine helped us with our requirements in a professional manner with no sales pressure or harassment. Just pleasant friendly service. it was a pleasure to shop in this store. Two male staff (one called Rob) helped us to our car with our rather heavy purchases which would not fit in the car resulting in 3 separate journeys. They were available each time I went back. This level of service is outstanding.

My friend recently bought two Harlow dining chairs from Next. We visited the Fort Kinnaird branch in Edinburgh and found the staff very pleasant and helpful (young man in home department phoned other branch to find out if they had the Harlow on display- unfortunately did not get his name). The Edinburgh Straiton branch were also very helpful particularly Sarah who was very pleasant and ordered the chairs which were delivered in a couple of days - remarkable service. The delivery service was also first class (extremely reasonable charge). The chairs look terrific, good quality and great value for money. I would like to think that these comments will find their way to the store managers in question and also to the staff who deserve to be recognised. Many Thanks - a very happy customer. I went shopping last week at Next Holmbush, Shoreham the service I received was exceptional and made my experience very pleasurable . Firstly in the children's department Paula proactively approached me and offered to look after my purchases while I continued my shopping, then Jon Luc in the shoe department offered his assistance and advice helping to make the right choices. I was so impressed by the level of service and customer engagement , it really does make a difference. Thank you and long may it continue.

I bought 4 candles from next home thinking they would be good candles as they were £8 each when I started burning them I noticed they started burning unevenly they just burn in the middle so don't buy candles from next.

Trying to make a purchase online, very poor website firstly could not have the item delivered to my local store the site said not available, rang customer service the answer i got was it may be because the store manager has no room to take stock even though I am paying for the goods, I also explained that I was having trouble entering my gift card towards the payment I was told to proceed to the end and that option will be available and sure it was but when I put the gift card details in it was rejected back on the phone, I have at this point spoken to five different people in India, the last person I spoke to and explained the problem explained that because I was redeeming a gift card he could not put the order through he said he would get someone to phone me back !!! no one has phoned. Throughout this whole process I tried customer services but just got e are sorry for keeping you waiting we will speak to you as soon as we can this went on for over 15 minuets I gave up !!! I rang the order line and guess what I got through strait away, but still no goods. I THINK NEXT NEED TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER !!!

GENUINELY THE WORST - I ordered a gift card online as a Christmas present. The next day I was called and told that I needed to give my date of birth in order to complete the order. Having already paid by credit card I found this strange, and said I did not want an account. They said they would cancel the account after this purchase. I then emailed Next to give them some feedback about their system which I found ridiculous. Their response to the criticism was to ask for my date of birth, they cannot discuss customer experience without it apparently. A week later, when the gift card had not arrived I telephoned, spoke to approximately 400 people (this may be an exaggeration), each one of whom wanted my date of birth ,my shoe size, inside leg and every address I have lived at since birth. It turns out that they had taken my money but had not sent out the gift card and in order to refund me they now needed my bank details. UNBE-F******-LIEVABLE!!!!!!! The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced - I had previously believed them to be a decent enough company.
