Absolutely disgusted! Bought a leather reclining chair and within a year the leather discoloured. I had taken out the insurance policy they push as point of sale only for Homeserve to come out and say I am not covered. A leather chair that lasts months?? Avoid!!!

Stay away. Do not buy from them. The leather dining chairs are not leather but PVC. They cracked and peeled off.

Extreme poor quality. We have spent a huge amount of money on bedroom furniture over the past few years and have been very happy up until now. We decided to purchase a bed and mattress also...Both arrivedpromptly, however after only 4 weeks of using the bed the mattress (an Orthopedic one) started to dip where we slept. I registered a complaint and they sent out a young boy to check measurements etc. He advised it was normal and this was known as a North/South divide !!!!!...My husband and I disagreed but gave the benefit of the doubt..after a further 2 weeks we noticed it has worsened, so again put in a complaint. Please note at no stage did we get a copy of any report and NOBODY from Oak Furnitureland contacted us. Customer Services (when I finally got through to them) moaned saying no point in sending a 2nd person out as Id already had 1 report....The 2nd person arrived did same measurement and stated it was in legal requirements and all mattresses have this issue.... I dont think so, we previously had a mattress for 10 years that never went like that....they refused to replace or even give me my money back, even when I stated I had been sold sub standard goods....so now I have had to purchase another mattress (definately not from them). Inthe meantime I have emailed theChief Executive to state he has poor customer service staff as well as selling sub standard goods....absolutely disgusting service, no loyalty to any customers whatsoever

Stay away from this company. Brought some what we thought were good quality sofas only to find after 2yrs that they looked like 20yrs old. Reported it only to be told that was general wear and tear. We also took out protection plan, that was the biggest waste of money ever. The leather is definitely not leather. Don't go anywhere near this store, rubbish quality. Might last 12 months if you are lucky.

I was in the Inverness store and was disgusted at how rude the Three horrable guys were i was looking to buy furniture but would never enter the store again...

Terrible company ! Bought a leather 3 piece recliner suite and after 2 weeks of use the leather became distorted and uneven. Complained to Oakfurnitureland who sent Homeserve to inspect it. He merely used a hot air gun to try and shrink the leather but this did not work. His comments where, we do not class this as a fault. Disgusting.

Ordered the Roman desk on a 13 week delivery and was expecting it on 28/09/20. On the morning of the 28th I got a text telling me to rebook delivery, when I checked the first available date was the 11th Jan 21. ANOTHER 15 WEEKS!!!!! How on earth can they tell me this on the day I was expecting it to come??? Surely they must have known sooner. 45 Minutes waiting on the phone I finally got through and asked for a refund. I am now stuck with no desk as most are out of stock around the country with people working from home. I will never shop there again. Please be warned.

I was shopping online for a new bed, having previously looked. Decided to put some details in and begin the checkout process to see delivery slots... didn't want to pay £50 for ddelivery, so thought I'd give it a couple of weeks. Was also planning on a double/triple wardrobe and bedside to match so worth waiting. Received a call from Kai at 8pm the same day (Sunday) asking me what the problem was. I explained that I'd wait for free delivery and he kept pushing for the sale. I said I'd wait as I don't need the bed this instant and he asked me why I was shopping for one then. Bad attitude, aggressive sales people calling me without consent... too many red flags and a picture of what's to come with these people. I'll be looking anywhere BUT Oak Furnitureland.

Useless delivery men! Left two wardrobes outside on my drive after saying they wouldn't fit through front door although they made no attempt to try! Refused to unpack them from boxes to help the situation and then just jumped in their van and drove off without another word! I paid extra for delivery to have the wardrobes placed in the bedroom but now have to wait until my partner gets home to sort out the problem ourselves. Delivery men lazy and useless, if you want something done, do it yourself!

Sofa I bought stitching underneath has come apart Footstool the material has gone baggy I was told it’s not A manufacturing fault so can not exchange it also it’s been in my house for 11 months it was to late for a exchange I told the customer service manger I live on my own and was away a lot of the time so it hardly been used and also with lock down I couldn’t have complain earlier I’m still waiting to find out if I can exchange it

I've only gave 1 star as 0 isn't available. I ordered the Roman range desk and bookcase on line after several calls to customer services about shade etc during COVID. When it came it wasn't as we had discussed but I appreciate that colour is not the same to everyone and it was acceptable. What wasn't acceptable was the horrendous delivery men who lit up a cigarette as soon as he got out the van and moaned about the size of the items I had ordered. I unpacked the items and seen that there were faults with both items. Desk- cracked paint, cracked wood, dodgy hinges and drawers that don't open and close properly. Bookcase - Holes inside that looked as if they hadn't been finished doff properly. On top of that the items looked cheap and poorly made. It was at this point that I had several conversation with customer service whereby I was ASSURED that the items were solid oak when I questioned the quality. Having had enough I decided to email the CEO office.....safe to say that was worse. I received a call from a woman in customer relations who again ASSURED me the items were sold oak. I had to send in photos of the problems and I could either return the items or choose another range....My problem was the other ranges didn't fit. Still not convinced at the quality I called a store and was told instantly that the items weren't oak they were painted hardwood !!! That in itself isn't a problem..... however customer service and customer relations staff not knowing is a problem. As the other ranges didn't fit I agreed that I would have the desk replaced but this didn't deal with the issue of the holes in the bookcase. Again, customer relations had no idea.....even to the point that they told me Quality Control had looked at one and it didn't have holes so mine must be faulty. it took them 4 days to come back with that information. I got a picture online, zoomed in and could clearly see the holes. Again I called a store and instantly they stated that it was so you could move the shelves.....they did however agree that there was nothing online or in the installation manual stating this. The person I was dealing with in customer relations then got someone else to call me and refused to take my calls. Very poor display of service from a CEO office. Replacement desk will not be delivered for 14 weeks and no refund allowed for the poor quality of the bookcase or for the appalling service that I have received. If you are looking for quality DO NOT buy this range. I have bought from OFL in the past and been happy with the products and service but they are definitely going downhill in both areas. I won't be back.

I ordered two wardrobes in store. At no point on purchasing these did anyone tell me I had to measure the access in my house to ensure they would fit and if they didn’t I’d have to pay £150 to return them. Nothing was mentioned what so ever. Delivery day came, I’d paid extra to have them delivered upstairs, they couldn’t fit them up. They said they were unable to remove them the boxes to try either. My only option was to pay £150 to have them taken back, money which I don’t have. I don’t understand how it’s £40 for delivery but £150 to have them returned. I spoke to customer services who were really unhelpful and said it’s my fault because someone in tiny writing on an email they sent me AFTER buying the wardrobes it said Id have to measure them or pay £150. I’m pregnant so can’t move the furniture myself. I’m stuck with 2 wardrobes taking up my entire living room that I can’t afford to send back. Also their selling point is that furniture isn’t supposed to be self assembly, however they came in two halves so I have no idea how they expect me to put them together they’re very heavy. Overall awful experience, appalling customer service, they only care about making a sale. They want as much money out of you as possible which is why they don’t openly fully inform you when you buy products. They couldn’t give a **** about their customers. AVOID.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. We’ve waited 11 weeks for delivery of our bedroom furniture and have just found out a week before delivery that our bedroom furniture will not be delivered until 30th November - another 10 weeks away meaning we would have waited a total of 21 weeks. We’ve been living out of cardboard boxes and bin bags waiting 11 weeks for this delivery only to find it is going to take another 10 weeks. Absolutely disgraceful. Avoid at all costs.

Disgusting company. Purchased a sofa for £2000 18 months ago. It now looks so misshapen and saggy and has no support left at all. We thought this would be no problem as we purchased a 5 year warranty at the time of purchase for a further £200. Apparently the product looking awful and not being fit to sit on is not a fault. Some quotes that have come from staffs mouths. “This is how they make them now so you have to buy a new one regularly” “The 12 month warranty doesn’t mean the product will last 12 months” “I would never buy one of these for myself, they’re a night mare” Leaving as many reviews as possible in the hope that no one else is ripped off and taken the poss out of. Fuming.

Very over priced poorly made furniture. The chest of draws we purchased was made from all small pieces off cuts, we sent the first set back with a fault, then waited 3 weeks for someone to call and try and repair, which failed then waited another 3 week for a replacement. I would advise to look else where.

Ordered wardrobe, dresser and drawers 3 months ago , given delivery date 10th August: few days before, gold another 13 weeks, had got rid of old furniture, now living out of suitcases, never again, wouldn’t touch them with a barge pole, ready for receivers to move in, so don’t pay up front
