Purchased two units and spent over £1000 on them. Once arrived both units was damaged. It took a while with customer service but managed to get replaced. When the replacements arrived these went into storage. Due to COVID the project was delayed and we have only managed to use the items. Yet again one you is damaged. As it out of the normal time frame Oakworld are not helping and say we have damaged the item item. The screws that are holding the back on has been put in incorrectly and split the side wood. Clearly a manufacturing issue but they are not taking responsibility. Been told these are quality checked.. mmm really! I have been advised of my rights but yet still not interested. Very poor service as keep sending the same content emails as a response. I have gone legal on this. Please avoid Oakworld due to poor service and item

Do not use this company. Bought large sideboard. I shelf broken so agreed to discount. However before I could use 2 of the doors warped. Will not fit at all Although they say 12 month guarantee refuse to do anything as I accepted with shelf broken.

I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Absolutely appalling service. Wish I had read reviews before ordering. Attempted a delivery without informing myself the chairs had even been dispatched. How can you possibly be home for a delivery when you had no idea it was happening??? Called numerous times to be told different information EVERY single time. Do not order from this company!! No chairs and also still awaiting a refund. Shocking!!!!

Avoid at all costs! I would give 0 stars I could. I don't like complaining. I've never bothered to write a bad review in my life but I feel absolutely compelled to in this case given how atrocious their customer service is. We moved about a month ago. When my wife ordered online, she accidentally provided our old postcode. The rest of the address is correct (house number, street, city and county). Somehow, DHL delivered our package to our old address (completely different number and street name). Anyway, we reached out to the company to explain the situation as we no longer have access to the old address. They said it was our fault as we provided the wrong postcode. We explained that, while we did give the wrong postcode, it doesn't match the rest of the address. The address we provided is, essentially, a non-existent address. We explained that they should have reached out to clarify the delivery address instead of assuming what the house number and street was. We asked how they were able to determine the precise house number we used to live in as that was not provided. We can see from the DHL tracking photo that it was left behind the bin of our old address. They said they have no idea. This is where we hit a brick wall. They say the courier only goes by the postcode and nothing else. The rest of the address not matching the postcode is irrelevant. They told us to go around to the old address to see if we could retrieve the package. Even though it is an hour away, we went and checked. The place is unoccupied at the moment. The package, now gone. Someone else took it. Our point is that DHL should not have delivered the package at all without checking with the sender and obtaining confirmation of our full valid address. It's is obvious that an address is Oxfordshire with a Berkshire postcode is simply not correct. We went back and forth with Georgia on emails, Dionne on the phone and Lucy (the manager) and all we got was the same thing over and over again ... "You're at fault, the courier only uses the postcode, we don't know how the courier determined which number to deliver to, we cannot offer a replacement or refund". I told them to put a claim with DHL.... they refused... and by the way, this was not a polite interaction. Georgia was flippant and abrupt in her emails and Lucy was just horrible and rude. Dionne was at least polite, but I got nowhere with these people. It is not a hyperbole when I say this is the worst customer service I ever received in my life. So basically, if a customer fat-fingers the postcode when placing an order and doesn't notice, the package can be delivered anywhere in the country as "the courier only goes by the postcode". You have got to be joking. If an address is clearly a non-existent address, they should reach out and check, not just make assumptions and deliver it wherever they please... to a house number that was never ever provided. Worst customer service EVER.

Order took longer than eta date. I had to email customer service for info for them to reply and tell me it had been delivered. After me asking for where it had been delivered they then said it was still with courier company and they would be in touch. Next day at 11am whilst at work I got a text message saying it would be delivered today between 2 and 4. Had to then leave work early and got home at 2.15, no card left so assumed hadn't missed them. Nothing came, emailed again and they said they would rearrange. A few days later at 11am again whilst at work a text message to say will be delivered between 2 and 4. Had to leave work early again and got home at 1.45 this time. They didnt arrive, requested a refund that night. Next day when I get home from work the wardrobe I ordered was waiting in the garden in the pouring down rain. I checked my emails and had a reply to the refund request of 'item has now been delivered please enjoy'. I replied item has been left in pouring rain I still want a refund and item returning. Have had to now send pictures to prove item is still in boxes and now waiting for it to be picked up. Do not buy from this company, how can they deliver items with a few hours notice. Currently still waiting for item to be picked up and refund. AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! Its now the 1st of October and after waiting in all day for the item to be picked up the courier didnt arrive again. This company are crooks, steal your money, leave goods in pouring down rain, refuse to have item picked up, refuse to take any responsibility. I have had the nightmare of dealing with these clowns so you dont have to. Dont put yourself through the trouble of buying from these criminals.

We ordered a mango wood table and chairs and paid for the extra cover on them. The table was damaged when it arrived. A nice man came out to assess the damage and said it needed replacing. It’s never been replaced and is now coming apart. We have extra cover, we’ve contacted them but they don’t call back!!!! They are appalling. Nice when it’s not damaged but otherwise awful!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I wouldn't give them one star if it were possible to review without doing so. My advice would be to avoid this company like the plague, or probably more appropriately, Covid 19. I have never experienced such incompetency and extremely poor quality in my life. I'm not one for writing a review, as I generally can't be bothered and aren't one to complain. I just expect what I pay for, is that really too much to ask, in this day and age??? Sadly I had the misfortune to stumble across this company online whilst searching for new bedroom furniture. Here goes my nightmare of using this company and constantly receiving damaged goods. I ordered a set of bedroom furniture that was in stock with estimated delivery of one week, (how excited I was at this point), and yet 5 months later, I have still not received what I paid for. I have finally given up and insisted on a refund. I have had items delivered a total of 3 times in this period, each time causing more stress and inconvenience to myself due to the pure lack of care and accountability from this company. The only positive I can draw from this situation is the staff in customer service who have tried to be helpful by constantly apologising (what good that does) for the constant mistakes made. Sadly this alone does not help resolve the issues, and their hands are firmly tied. I was even promised on the second and third delivery that all items would be checked prior to sending, so that I didn't have to wait for further collections, re order and then to take more time off work to await delivery. To find yet again items were badly damaged. Out of the first delivery date. 5 out of 8 items were so badly damaged they had to be sent back. Although I did opt to keep the wardrobe even though it had been dropped prior to being packed, (even though it had been stamped 3 separate times for quality control). I guess this is where I have to take some ownership. I was so impressed with the professionalism of the website, never did it cross my mind that it wouldn't be perfect, so I had taken down my old fitted furniture and smashed it up ready to cater for the delivery the day after (how naive I was). It was a case of keeping the least damaged items so I could avoid my clothes being left on the floor. The second delivery took 3 months to sort due to the fact they gave me a new delivery date, then on the day of, supposed delivery, I was informed my order had been cancelled as one item was out of stock, and they refused to deliver the out of stock item separately. After another 8 weeks in which there had been constant emails, phone calls, and having to give picture evidence of damaged items I was given a delivery date. Feeling positive that this was the end of the situation and I would finally be happy with what I paid £2500 for. I received my delivery to find 3 out of 4 items so badly damaged they had to be returned. Again I reluctantly kept one item even though it had paint chips on the draw fronts, and scratches on the surface. For both items kept I was given, what they call a "gesture of good will" Talk about insults. In actual fact the gesture of good will, was on my part for accepting a pittance for damaged items that I could have insisted were replaced. This would cost them much more than the £60 they offered. After waiting another 4 weeks for them to collect items, and then yet again cancelling my order in full because one item had been lost in the factory, I received the 3rd delivery date. Again I insisted this be checked for quality before delivery, yet again this did not happen. That order arrived today. This time one item was so badly damaged it needs to be returned. Due to being so exhausted with this company I asked for a refund on this item and will have to get a set of draws from somewhere else. Which will not no match the ones I have waited 5 months for. I simply can't take anymore from this company as I am losing the will to live. After being promised compensation at the end of this I was told today to merely forget it and be grateful they were refunding my last item.

I was informed of my delivery date on ordering - actually it was somewhere in a 5 day window. Day 3 of that window I still don't know if and when it will be delivered and hence enquired. Their reply was - fill out this form as we don't deal with it Incredible - absolutely terrible customer service. Oh... did I mention they take your money straight away - thank you. Oh....you want customer service as well !! They won't last long !!

OK. We were thrilled to find 4 great looking dining chairs listed as "perfect" yet half price (apparently returned unneeded). Delivery was prompt but sadly, we had to send two back as they were badly damaged, definitely not perfect. Customer service was OK. They refunded the price of the 2 chairs and we paid significantly more to buy 2 more. However, they sent us the original, broken chairs! The exact same ones we'd returned! Eventually we sent all 4 chairs back as they said they have no more of these available. Asking for a refund (which is yet to arrive). But the shocking fact is .... they've immediately put these chairs back on sale again! Some other poor soul will buy them. OK so two of them are perfect, but sadly, two are definitely not. And most people will purchase more than two I guess.

Customer service non-existent Chairs were spindly & not as solid as they looked on site. Their first delivery didn't take place & took no responsibility for 3rd party courier company who failed to let us know they weren't going to deliver on the day they had confirmed. Oakworld said to write an email for potential goodwill gesture for inconvenience, which i did as was considering purchasing a table so thought i might get a small discount. Then asked to write another email after delivery, which i did. Then said it wasn't really inconvenient, having to have someone come home to receive delivery on a Friday afternoon so not offering anything...wouldn't have minded if that was said before the emails but will never buy anything from them again.

Absolutely awful quality. I received a badly damaged item , got it replaced and the replacement was just as badly damaged. It is very poorly made. None of the drawers fit properly. I would not order from this company again.

I ordered a garden bench. Shocking customer service. All their emails repeat the same message. I’m still waiting it’s my 4 th week!!!! I requested the contact details for their MD they won’t give me any details. I’ve telephoned emailed but nothing new. It’s a repeat of the other emails they sent me. They’ve taken my money under false pretences. Shocking!!!!!

Placed order 7th may on 14 to 21 days delivery. Message yesterday to say item is 7 to 8vweeksbdelivery as per the order. Checked order definitely 14 to 21 days, check website 14 to 21 days. Called customer service told i had the wrong order number hence the massage about the 7 to 8 weeks delivery. Asked to cancel and get refund. All of a sudden the order will be with courier today I am told. Message from delivery agent to say my order can be delivered in next 2 days. Great then checked what was being delivered, not my order but someone else's order. Contacted customer services( unlike others, got through hardly any wait time) they will look into it and get back to me. I wont hold my breath for an early response. Should have read these comments and ordered elsewhere!

Do not order from them! Ordered outdoor furniture on 13th March ..it stated 6/8 week delivery after numerous email delay after delay with current estimate 26th June ...take your money then can’t deliver goods . I have requested a refund ... Do not order from them ..atrocious company

I ordered the furniture in good faith, 2 flat pack wardrobes with drawers and one large chest of drawers. The 2 wardrobes + drawers arrived, NO SIGN of the chest of drawers. They had my order and my money and a week later I can get no coherent response from Customer Relations who have had all the details of the furniture which arrived. How hard can it be ? Why don't they answer their phones ? Worst service I have ever had. WHERE IS MY CHEST OF DRAWERS AND WHY DOES NOONE SORT IT OUT.

Was so excited when I placed my order for a Devonshire Sideboard and couldn't wait for it to be delivered. How wrong could I have been! Delivery drivers not even wearing masks and told my husband that the item would have to be left outside the house due to COVID. Incorrect item delivered so my husband told them not to bother offloading it so they took it back. Then....numerous emails to and from Customer Services...best part was when the courier company rang to say that they would collect the sideboard from my home and replace with...nothing! OMG! Apologies from Customer Services as wires crossed! Advised new delivery date of 15-19 April.....yes! No! dates came and went..advised item not ready to be shipped. I said I would cancel the order....then miraculously order ready! By then I`d had enough and cancelled the order completely. What a headache! Very stressful..Customer Service a joke! AVOID! Ended up buying flat pack but well worth it.

Furniture is fantastic but the delivery was shocking - rude, unprofessional staff. I would NEVER use this company again to deliver anything (ArrowXL). One of the delivery men was very threatening and abusive on the phone and kept calling me every few minutes demanding to know where I was! They are supposed to call you 30 mins before delivery but he left me a voicemail saying he was 10-15 mins away and when I phoned him he said if I wasn’t there in 5 mins he would leave and then he hung up on me. Just diabolical.

APPALLING customer service. DO NOT ORDER from them. There are better companies with better quality products. I ordered a oak wardrobe and paid £469. There was a delay in notifying me about delivery. I rang them and we confirmed a delivery date. They pointed out it may be a doorstep delivery. I said this was not suitable as I live alone and cannot move an oak wardrobe on my own to upstairs. I was told to speak to the driver and sort it out with him. The delivery email stated it MAY be a doorstep delivery. When they arrived today the delivery man refused to come in saying they were not allowed. It turns out all deliveries are doorstep. This should be made implicitly clear to all customers as I am sure there are many people like me. I had to open up the parcel and struggle upstairs piece by piece and some of it was so heavy it made me feel quite ill. Having now seen the items I am disappointed by the quality. I have alot of oak items and know good quality when I see it. This is not and many of the wooden joining pegs are broken. I have paid £469 for an unassembled, questionable quality wardrobe, just dumped in my hallway. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
