Warning to all - Avoid 'OneCom' at all costs (a 'middle man' mobile network provider). I got a very long cold call from OneCom. They talked me into changing networks and to a business tariff on my mobile (I didn't know B2B consumer laws do not offer the same rights as a private buyer) Follow this link for more info on B2B contracts:- https://reducer.co.uk/blog/understanding-business-to-business-contracts I did sign up for the mobile tariff they offered me after over 30 mins of hard sell but changed my mind 3 days later and tried to cancel (within the 14 day cool off period!) I have been told there is no 14 day cooling off period for business customers! So I am pretty much stuck with this bad contract for at least 2 years if not longer. The Deal: OneCom offer you an expensive phone tariff (i.e. £44.81/per month/ sim only) then give you a monthly discount of £35 making the total plan £9.81 (sounds good!). This was the price I was quoted (I missed they said it was ex VAT !). Ex VAT – Not Plus VAT which is more understandable terminology! What they don't tell you is you pay VAT on the full amount (£44.81 + VAT = £53.77) not the quoted plan cost of £9.81. So my actual monthly cost will be £18.77 (+ £8.96 VAT on the £44.81). This is never made clear, double the amount I was quoted. The contract is with OneCom for 2 years with a tariff review at 18 months. The discount is only for 17 months. So if you don't call for the tariff review the price bounces up to the full expensive price for the remaining 6 months of the contract. If you DO call them for a tariff review you can negotiate a new tariff BUT essentially you may be signing up to another 2 years! Please:- do not use this company do your homework before signing up to a new contract (especially business customers) always look at the One Star reviews on review sites. OneCom have lots of disturbing one star reviews on Trust Pilot https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.onecom.co.uk?stars=1 I can't tell you how very stupid and annoyed I feel with myself right now. I have now recieved a deadlock letter from OneCom to take this matter to Ofcom/ CISAS. One Com use CISAS instead of Ofcom you can call them on 02075202814 to lodge you complaint.

All of these reviews are clearly fake, if you look through far enough on trust pilot there is even ex employees admitting to the fake reviews! Some of them even say the same thing or refer to the same person, it's actually embarrassing. SCAM ARTISTS, FRAUD, DISGUSTING COMPANY, DISGUSTING PEOPLE!! Please anyone who has taken a contract recently and realised they have been scammed like I did please go onto OneCom's website and go to the OFcom terms and conditions C8 document. This states that on the sales call they are to disclose termination rights, procedures and the early termination fee which mine is £10500 LOL. Please report them to CISAS, trading standards, the BBC, these seem to be the only people able to take action and cancel your contract. They mis sell, distract you on the call and tell you terms and conditions while in conversation, they do not specify they are about to read terms and conditions, they dont at any point tell you what your signing is a contract and the document says order form not contract. They dont say this is a legally binding contract! They then try to bind by the fact you have signed the document on the phone and they whispered mid convo about no cooling off period and then straight away ask you a question so you dont process what theyve said! They also tell you all these add ons such a entertainment packages are free and included and then on the order form your actually going to end up paying £75 for each of these “Free” add ons which is breaching terms and conditions and trading standards you cannot advise something as free when it is not! NO, absolutely not having this. I will not stop until this company has been taken to the ground. There is a Facebook group called Onecom problems and mis selling LOL an actual Facebook group dedicated to people who have been conned and scammed by the disgusting people working for them. Post your reviews everywhere, post them into Facebook groups in your area, groups for tradespeople, get people sharing, do NOT let them get away with this and do not let them continue to do self employed tradespeople over! The amount of stress, time, sleepless night ive had over this is horrendous!

STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE We are a scaffolding company based in Iver i got a call 2 or 3 times last year that an engineer is waiting at our yard when I am the director and I am the only one authorised to place orders if we wanted anything or not. Our yard than it was far to small so we were thinking of moving from there so no way we were going to install a broadband I didn't even know these crooks existed in the first place. They wanted to charge us for their attendance. Long story short I got another phone call today since some time has passed the man called himself Max presentet himself as being from BT reach and not Onecom. Did not agree to anything until I thought I would see the reviews and I was amazed how these people do business when every 10 worse reviews one is good. DO NOT TRUST THEM STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS UNSCRUPULOUS CROOCKS. Hope my review will stop people falling in to their spider net called ONECOM. You will be forever sorry. Thank you

I was cold called by onecom a month ago. I usually never answer sales calls, but this came from a local number and the man on the phone inferred he was from EE looking to upgrade my tariff. They promised me £15 pound a month for unlimited data and an entertainment package. Sounds great! What isn't CLEARLY stated is that this is a middle man company who partially reimburses you for the cost of a contract with Vodaphone. And £15 is the price BEFORE vat ON THE FULL CONTRACT. Which means I'm actually paying £40 a month! I would've never agreed to this had they been clear about costs. Also I distinctly remember the guy on the phone saying you're tied in for 18 months - looked at my contract and it's 36??? What actually happens after 18 months is that I will have to pay the full contract price at over £100!! I cannot afford this. Looking at my bill from Vodaphone I'm being charged for 2 numbers. This is because the salesman said he could include a WiFi dongle. I thought this would just be using my existing number, but no, I'm now being charged for 2 numbers. Again this was not stated. And because they call it a business contract (I have a tiny limited company that makes me a part time wage) I have practically no consumer rights. Appalling.

A very devious, corrupt company who take joy in miss-selling customers. Be very careful checking your contract with OneCom, I verbally signed up to an £18 a month contract (cheaper than my previous deal). After a month my first bill arrived at nearly £200 !!! I called to cancel and was quoted a fee of about £5000+ to get out of my contract as there was no cooling off period. After 2 months the telecoms governing body CISAS instructed OneCom to cancel my contract, refund me and send me a letter of apology. Google the words OneCom and SCAM or FRAUD and get a true picture of this company. My advice would be run for the hills and don't even entertain a conversation with them or it'll cost you x10 what you're expecting.

Avoid like the plague!!! They use misleading sales tactics to sell phone contracts without a cooling off period. They mis represent the cost and discounts, they don't tell you the discounts do not last the full contract length and they don't state the full monthly figure inc VAT on the contract that they hard sell you over the phone. You end up paying way more than stated. Terrible, unscrupulous company, please avoid ONECOM !!! I am waiting on a deadlock letter so I can take it to CISAS, I wish I had seen the reviews prior to answering the call!

I thankfully got my contract cancelled with Onecom through CISAS as I was criminally mis-sold. I thought it was £30 a month and the first bill was over £360. Their deceiptful and misleading practices caused me so much stress and hassle. They continue to deny any wrongdoing even after they were instructed to cancel the contract. I've had no apologies. They know what they are doing is wrong and they continue to do it to vulnerable people.

DO NOT BOTHER with this company, its the worst company ive ever dealt with in my life, they are seriously rude, there has been so many things that have gone wrong i dont know where to start, the biggest issue being they offer cashback but then keep your money!!! u get all this jargon about consumer rights etc and its just all BS,no one will do anything and they expect u to be out of pocket for years while they decide to resolve disputes, i am never ever going for cashback on anything again, i even had a guy put the phone down on me and say he didnt want to talk to me! if your foreign you will have problems here (know what i mean)

Awful customer service. They owe us ~£240 and are refusing to acknowledge or address the issue. This has been ongoing since November. Avoid at all costs. The deals / discounts are not worth the hassle at the end of the contract.

Avoid at all costs!! I was mis-sold a mobile plan that they will not let me out of. All the quick talk on the phone was entirely misleading, whilst signing up to a contract with them. They said they could beat my current monthly cost of £16 per month and I'm now paying almost £100 per month for a SIM only deal!!! I tried complaining to Vodafone as that's my network whilst with Onecom, but they take no responsibility saying they are a separate entity and that they are apparently inindated with similiar complaints. There was a problem between my bank and Onecom where my direct debit could not be taken and rather than contacting me giving me the opportunity to fix the problem, they shut off all my phone services including outbound calling and the Internet!! I am extremely angry with Onecom and will do my best to spread my poor experience. Craig

6 months of stress has thankfully come to an end after going to the adjudicator. Considering writing about my case, with examples of other people's horror stories.

We are a small charity. We were cold called by a Onecom salesman who promised to provide mobile phone service for us for less than the £15 per month we were already paying our provider at that time. We have the recording of the conversations with their two salesmen in which they told us no less than 7 times that we would pay less if we transferred to them. Unfortunately, they were telling barefaced LIES and when the first bills for their service arrived we discovered our 36 month contract was not going to cost less than we were paying at the time but 8 times MORE. Onecom do not deny their salesman lied to me but refuse to cancel the contract unless we pay them £6000. Please, please do not answer calls from these people - you will regret it if you do.

This is from a Norwegian customer. After 3 days of waiting for the technician where I had been promised by your customer service to be visited later the same day. I gave up after following up my case for 2 days now and I am still waiting. It is a simple finer optic terminal which has to be replaced.

Mis-lead and manipulated in short, after a cold call that sounded too good to be true, I told them what I wanted and could afford and they changed things covertly leading me to believe I would be paying a certain amount. Even though asking multiple times they cleverly manipulated me into the contract with no cool down period. They recorded calls without letting me know(which I now have a copy of for evidence). The said I was entitled to stuff that wasn't available anymore and I am set to pay a lot more money than agreed. Their customer services and care is vague and never answers your questions properly deflecting questions. DO NOT trust this company. I have an official complaint logged with ofcom/Cisas, and even though I know I will win I will waste a lot more time on this dis-honest company. Please avoid. I am also expecting a 'I am sorry yo are unhappy, email us' response even though they have not helped at all every time I have asked.

I signed up to one com believing they would lower my bill from the previous supplier. They told me that I would be paying £14 per month. I asked multiple times if that was the total amount and if there were any hidden charges. The answer was always no. When I had signed up and got my first 2 months bills they were at full price plus vat(no mention of hidden vat charge) 3rd month I found out I'm paying £24 pounds per month as there is a hidden line rental charge as well on the mobile contract. They didn't send a breakdown or welcome email with charges etc until I complained and made a query about it all. Total misrepresentation of pricing and how it all works. Wish I'd never changed.

Slippery and callous sales technique. They said the contract would be £20.08 + VAT for 2 phones which would save me money and instead it has worked out at nearly £58. I specifically asked them the total cost and the salesmen said £20.08 + VAT. The contract is not transparent although I saw the number £20.08 so I thought it was OK but check what they offer as a discount. In my case, it was £172 discountfrom a cost of £192.08 - which is £20.08. HOWEVER - the £192.08 needs to show VAT added which would take it to £230.39. £230.49 less £172 = £58.49. If they said the cost was £58.49 I would not have done it but they said £20.08 + VAT. If I do not get a reasonable resolution, I will take legal advice and will probably report to Trading Standards and an organisation called CISAS plus also Vodafone who I am sure would not want to be associated with their sales technique. For anyone thinking of using OneCom, my strong recommendation is to avoid them
