“As it comes to jazz - I have had lessons 20 yr.'s ago. - however, I am learning things now that I didn't get back then and now understand what was told to me 20 years ago. Love the GPS with Adam.”

“Too overwhelming. The number of lessons that showed on one page was just too much and discouraged me from continuing. Also, reading sheet music extensively to learn is not what I want. I want to learn piano the way a blind person would learn to play even though, I'm not blind. I cannot find anything on the internet about how to teach blind people jazz piano. Please consider bringing someone into Open Studio who teaches blind players and start a course on that.”

“The pentatonic course (just finished "Take the Coltrane") is of great help because for me it's the first time that I really know what and how to practice! :-) Nevertheless, I do have a request: As there is no way around practicing it would be extremely helpful to have a nice play-along for the four tunes. Ideally in like three different tempos. It would be great if you could provide this or give me an idea of where to get this to make practicing happy. :-))”

“After tossing up in my mind the option of several interesting online Jazz tutors, I opted for Open Studio last week and am now convinced I made the right choice. Entertaining, easy to follow, very professionally presented, produced and edited. But above all done with an obvious love for the music and a strong desire to turn their students into real jazz players. And for the piano student, Peter and Adam make it lots of fun.”

“Only on my 1st week but boy I'm glad I chose this site over one or two others I was considering,I'd done the trials at the others and though very good they weren't for me as too much variety whereas Open Sudio is pure jazz based so I can focus on what I love. The quality of the videos is way and above what I've tried at others. One feels a sense of I am really in a Holy place where jazz is king and the teachers are spot on right for me,I'm over the moon I've made a great choice. Onwards and upwards.....”

“As a dedicated non-musician, who has after 30 years been occasionally mistaken for a professional musician, as someone who has diligently utilized, lots of Internet resources and years of ear training, along with well-known jazz textbooks, for my money, Open Studio offers the most experienced, teachers I feel I’m ready for the pace of the lessons, and the patience that goes along with internalizing the lessons. But I don’t think that was true, until I practiced fairly regularly for a few decades using other materials”
