Love the variety and break down of the many jazz concepts into their course offerings.

Great content, the lessons are really based on "core" of musical vocabulary, that helps to go in deepth with concepts. Also, the masters teaching on OSJ have nice personnalities and contact with audience. Also, some ideas are totally new and sounds really modern (the OpenStudio Mu for instance). Also, the variety of lessons on different instruments available. Also, the flexible tempo possibilities and scores available with soundslice. Also, the extra zoom videos (recently Adam made a session of listening and commenting some jazz album - Oscar Peterson.) Really great ideas, beside of music lessons. Also,... I am a very fan new suscriber, and learned so much so far! Thank you guys !

Amazing programs. For now I'm only with the jazz piano jumpstart but I've learned so much. I knew a lot of stuff, but had holes, not in the theory but in practice, I did not have a routine, didn't know what to practice first, etc. Thank you for helping so much. I'll stay with you as long as I can and will learn as much as I can. And you are amazing Teachers, Adam and Peter. Thank you for the huge favor you do to music and musicians who are new to the piano and jazz.

Great content, funny and engaging. At times a bit oversimplified, but most of it is very useful. Very clever idea to have the content delivered as a dialogue, instead of a monologue. P.S. I really want Adam to make a video on the topic of secondary dominants of the 7th degree. There is beauty in it, Adam! 😃

Thank you for all the great work . I’m a jazz vocalist and it helps me a lot to get through my barriers. What helps me lot is your vunerability in your tutorials . That’s empowerment for all musicians and their musical envelopment . Again : keep up the good work!

So far, great! I just have to keep at it in all keys, and in unison. Peter Martin is that rare musician who is unbelievable at his craft and can convey it to others in a practical, understandable way.

I am using now one course "27 essential jazz piano etudes". I was already fan of the reels I found on facebook, always a challenge and perfect for my level of playing. So now I'm working on the 27 essential etudes and I llke it very much. I still use other books and scores, but at this moment my focus stays with the course of Peter Martin. Thank you for this nice material! Also, the video material that comes with it is encouraging to exercise.

I’d like to thank Rachel Morgan(Director of Operations & Member Experience) for helping our organization "Pittsburgh Bassists" in assisting us with gifting courses we bought and gifted to our members at our annual "Pittsburgh Bass Day" celebration. Our raffle winners told me they were really thoughtful gifts and will be looking to Open Studio Jazz for more courses. Thank you Racheal Gordon Gary

I love the Thelonious Monk lessons I purchased ,it’s so obvious that much effort has been put into each minute of the lesson, there’s no extraneous fluff , just pure info ! The living notation is a lot of help too! I am not ready to purchase a membership yet as I have to save up for a little while but if your other lessons are like the Monk the price and wait will definitely be worth it .

My main complaint is that Peter plays way too much in the videos. It really gets annoying after awhile. Adam is much more restrained. Hearing Peter play some really fast bebop is just not productive.
