“I was skeptical to sell my home non traditional way. ESP as is aight unseen but they shocked me with a solid offer ease of communication and closing was a breez and getting paid timely for my home. I highly recommend and when I’m ready to sell my condo I’ll look to them again. Well done a++++++++”

“Run!! Everything went smooth and the docs were signed 1 day ahead of closing date. After docs were signed, Opendoor changed the closing date several times. 1 week later, still has not funded. So they have recorded a property without funding several days later. Not only unethical, but per a consult with a real estate attorney, not legal. I will now have to take legal action to get paid. Not worth it!”

“My first contact OPENDOOR was great was offered $436,200 for my home and was told after a video walkthrough most offers go up. After my video walkthrough my offer went down $50k, WOW. Their employee David said they pulled comps in 1/2 mile radius ( this should have been done before first offer ) and were much lower, well smaller homes are cheaper. Their assessment of video was my house needs 25% painted, even though it was painted in 2019, only 2 adults live in home. Was asked if we have pets yes we have 2 pets less than 12lbs, as result their letter to me was theres a strong pet odor in home, must compete a chlorine dioxide cleaning for the whole home and duck work due to the strong pet odor. Yard was nick picked over twigs and small limbs from 3 very large pin oaks. I need to trim bushes. There were several other items nick picking items. This company is very insulting to the prospective customers, no one from OPENDOOR has been in my home to smell any odor and when I questioned David about it his response was the home inspector that came out to see the exterior of home smelled the odor. THE INSPECTOR NEVER ENTERED MY HOME. I said so odor is so bad he smelled it out side through the walls. David said I'm sorry for that being on report. The company makes you fix issues ( I agree with fixing TRUE issues) and charges a 5% service fee which is a 5% sells commission. Why would anyone pay OPENDOOR a 5% commission to buy their home when they don't do anything to earn the money, at least a realtor does list and show home. I will never ever do business with or recommend OPENDOOR to anyone. I would honestly give them a NEGATIVE star rating if I could.”

“If you are pressed with working from home and can't break away for showings, Opendoor would be a great alternative for you. You will receive a competitive offer and free you up from the significant stress of listing and showing your home. Recommended!”

“I purchase a home recently (July, 2021) though Open door in Austin and my experience was really bad. Even agent was not good and he did not have much experience with Open door. There were multiple issues where I or my agent had to follow up with their sales agent and response was horrible. The house took about 4 weeks to close and Open door did not maintain the property inside and outside. When they had over it was not in livable condition (Did not lean the house or the backyard). I did not got my mail box key and mail box no as well. I had to take the handover remotely and cloud not come to the sites. Primary Home buying come with lots of emotion with the home owners and Open door did not respect any of these. I called up many times their customer service to share my experience and asked them to escalate my case, but did not help at all.”

“The overall outcome in working with Opendoor on selling our house and buying a new one through them was great. We ended up getting a good price without the hassle of listing and having to mess with showing our house to the masses. However Opendoor communication leaves a lot to be desired particularly at the end of the process leading to closing. Getting call backs/txt response and clear information is a challenge with Opendoor. In the end though everything was as advertised and there was no bait and switch.”

“Working with Opendoor was absolutely wonderful! Every single step of the process was easy and streamlined. If I had any questions, they were always available to answer quickly. We received an incredible offer on our home from Opendoor. One that provided us with a substantial down payment on a brand new home...our Forever Home. “This was a great experience, everything went very smooth. Opendoor was very easy to work with. Quick and easy process, and they gave us a very competitive and fair price for our home. Also, their online tools and process was very easy as well. Our Opendoor contact, Dillon was fantastic! He was always accessible via phone or text and was very prompt to answer any questons. “OpenDoor took almost all the stress and hassle out of selling my home. Logistics of moving are never stress-free :) but OpenDoor made it so easy to concentrate on the move by streamlining the selling process. I was a bit skeptical at first, but our neighbors had a great experience with OpenDoor and I was equally as thrilled with the ease of the process. No delays, staging, repairs, etc - they just did the assessment quickly (had very competitive offer) and I signed for closing. I would highly recommend OpenDoor to anyone looking to sell their home!”

“Amazing! I encourage anyone selling a house to request an offer from Open Door. In our case we were 100% satisfied with the amount they paid for our home. There was zero stress during the process. They were incredibly flexible with the closing date and even allowed us to do a "late checkout" meaning we were allowed to stay in our home for up to seven days free of charge after closing. Thank you Open Door for making our sale so easy!”

“The experience was just advertised! They have you take a few photos before the offer, they come by to inspect your home outside, didn't even need to be at home for this. Gave us an offer for house as is. Got us to title company and transaction was done. Of course any house closing involves lots of paper work, but OpenDoor was there at every step!”
