“Selling a house without involving realtors was a first for me. Opendoor made the process so easy to navigate and with minimal steps that it was a breeze. Their offer was all cash and transparent with no hidden fees and allowed flexibility of closing date. I made the transition from getting a hand off from my renter to the final virtual hand off to open door within a day and was done. No hassles, negotiations, or unexpected delays. I was remote and it saved me a lot of time and anxiety dealing with them. Kudos to the team at Opendoor for making this a great experience.”

“We research and read reviews about Opendoor from other customers. But Dan at Opendoor, I can't remember what his title was, was wonderful. Dan was there from the beginning to the end, explaining and answering any questions we might have. We decided to go with the cash offer. What was quoted to us, was what happened. No mis-understanding. We closed on the date we picked. So easy. We would definitely recommend Opendoor to others to use.”

“This was the easiest process I have ever done! Hats off to the pioneer who thought of this idea. Its absolutely seamless! Its almost too good to be true, but it is. They take the stress out of saleing and closing on your home. I would highly recommend anyone to Open Door. Tim was very patient and answered all my questions without hesitation! Awesome job Tim and thank you for everything! Terri from Fidelity was friendly and kept me updated frequently, and I was able to sign my papers at home! Now that’s WoW service! I can’t say enough Good things about this service except “Its exceptional and the best way to go to way to go to sale your home! Thanks again to everyone who assisted me in this process, I will utilize in the future when I purchase another home! Excellent service all around!”

“Opendoor made the entire home selling experience easy and as stress free as possible. With two kids ages 3 and under I did not want to keep my house clean for showings, or have people traipsing through our space during nap time/lunch time/bed time, etc. Opendoor offered us a fair price and remained true to their offer throughout. It honestly felt a little too good to be true! If you are looking to sell your home I highly recommend Opendoor. Their customer service was excellent, available and responsive throughout the whole process. Helpful, kind, and respectful. Would sell to them again!”

“Please avoid using their lender/loan services. They do not have enough employees for the booming market and made it an absolute nightmare to close. They were late every step of the way and delayed closing multiple times. They would not respond to phone calls or emails until they had to start paying us (as written in the contract- it is $100 per business day past closing if it the fault of Opendoor). They changed closing 3 times without even telling us until AFTER a missed date. They didn’t verify closing until the day before, 30 minutes before our bank closed and we needed to wire money to the law office. Since everything was so last minute, we did not have time to call and verify our wiring instructions and lo and behold a scammer emailed us incorrect (but extremely real looking) information and we lost $17,000. We have no idea if we will get it back. While this isn’t directly the fault of Opendoor, it could have been avoided if they would have answered calls and verified sooner than 4:30 the evening before closing. The day of closing, we received an email ONE HOUR before we were to be at the law office (which was an hour away) that our closing costs were actually $1,500 more than they told us the day before and we were stressing to figure out how to get that money to the attorney handling the closing. This was overall the most stressful, frustrating, and upsetting 3 months of our lives and I will warn anyone I meet not to use this company.”

“We were originally offer $555k for our home. When I had to update the offer to schedule the virtual walk through, it dropped the offer to $533k (8 days after the first offer). Was told that offers usually go back up after the walkthrough. After the walk through - they dropped the offer to 530k and had over 6k in “repairs” required. When I inquired about the repairs, they said the A/C will need to be replaced (it doesn’t) along with paint. The home was just repainted. When I pressed them on their offer and asked why they were not using a comp 2 houses down from ours that just sold for $589k, they stated that they purposedly excluded that due to the other home having superior lot location and “upgrades”. All if this was fodder and completely inaccurate. Our home has nicer furnishings and a far superior lot. When I asked them what they would list our home for after they purchase and make the “repairs” to the home, they refused to answer. Their 530k minus “fees” was essentially a 495k offer for a house that will list and sell around 590k - 600k in the open market. Highly disappointed around the process, lack of transparency and clearly trying to take advantage of uneducated home owners to allow Opendoor to come in and reap massive profits and not provide any real answers to their ridiculous low offers. Either be transparent, real or not. There is not a single appraiser who wouldn’t use the house 2 doors down to use as a comp…. Unless they work for Opendoor…. - Avoid like the plague if you want a real offer and to maximize your returns and equity in your home.”

“I had so many independent individuals give me poor deals for selling my home in Atlanta GA until I looked up Opendoor online and saw good reviews about them. I decided to call and give them a try and was truly impressed. Opendoor gave me such a fair deal that a realtor we planned to use admitted it was a good deal and he could not compete. To make it easier, it was an all cash offer on our terms. We said when we wanted to leave, what we wanted to take and Jennifer worked with us to make it happen. It was easy to do the initial video walkthrough to get an offer within days and the online app kept us abreast of where we were. The digital checkout before closing was convenient and easy to upload pics from my phone before being cleared for closing. The cash was in our bank within 2 hours of closing. Kudos to Opendoor, you have a great business plan to make it easy to sell houses to you.”

“I don’t even know where to begin ! The process was so simple. I went with Opendoor because I got more for my house and paid much less in fees. Plus no headaches of inspections Or worrying about whether or not the buyer can actually make good on the offer. I received my money on the same day I closed so that was very nice”
