“the sale of my house was so much easier than I expected. I expected a parade of people going through my house. Delays and excuses, That never happened, IT was quick and Simple Opendoor kept right on schedule and the paperwork was quick and simple. Everything was right on schedule. the only problem I had was finding a mover during a pandemic. When I buy my next home I will go through Opendoor.”

“BS company. Cannot get a hold of them ever. I have been on hold for 10 minutes. How can you do business as complicated as a real estate transaction without being able to communicate with the purchaser/seller? They also offer about 20% less than market value in my experience. I have offers and actual sold comps to back up this data. 10 years experience as a realtor.”

“Opendoor is the best! Keith Matthews is a pleasure to work with and he made the home buying process a breeze in this seller's market! “We closed on the sale of my daughter’s property recently. I would like to thank Raul Villarroel, for his attention to our transaction. Raul took time to explain the process and your transaction cost estimates were spot on. Communication was easy and answers timely. No surprises at closing - just as promised. “Our experience with OpenDoor was pretty fantastic. John, our main contact, made the process very easy and explained very clearly through email and a phone call what we needed to do for the process. All we needed was a half hour zoom call to show them the inside of the house, and then someone came out to look at the front and backyard for about 10 minutes a few days later. We had a final offer 24 hours later, and it was a great offer. Unlike selling on the market through a realtor, we didn’t have to schedule an inspection, get our toddler out of the house every day for showings, or make the house show ready. We got to choose our own closing/move out date, and OpenDoor along with their title company they use made the entire process extremely easy and streamlined. We highly recommend OpenDoor, and thank them for making it easy for us to make a big family move.”

“As a real estate professional in California my advice is to run far far away from Open Door. My clients purchased an Open Door inventory home and thus were subjected to the full force of the tragically apathetic and incompetent staff. The decentralized structure of the company means you have zero personal service and there is almost no communication whatsoever. The had customer service reps replying to my emails using the "listing agent's" email signature and BRE license #, and they forced my clients to use their title company (spruce title). between open door and spruce this 25 day escrow is on day 45 and is still not closed. no one seems to know anything and you can NEVER get anyone on the phone. it's been two weeks since the open door "listing agent" has returned a call or email from me. two weeks. They are losing money at a shocking rate here in CA so my only hope is that they are out of business soon so I never have to deal with them again.”
