Absolutely dreadful experience. The booking system is lengthy and confusing; customer service is appalling and even if you do manage to get past the bots, the humans seem to have neither the will nor the knowledge to resolve any issues. It might be a bit cheaper but definitely not worth the hassle - you’re much better going direct to the airline. I would never use Opodo again. Do yourself a favour and don’t touch them with a barge pole!

I'd give no stars if I could. Booked return flights to Rome from Gatwick. Get an email saying 'all booked' then half an hour later I get another message saying that the return trip wasn't accepted. So I have to re-book. Re-book through Opodo. Big hassle, especially as we're booking hotels, trains, cars etc. at the same time. Three weeks later I get my credit card statement and they've taken the money for the initial bookings AND the return that I had to book separately. I call the helpline - getting through the appalling automated system took far too long. After much discussion I'm assured that the refund will be credited to my card within 10 working days! I've already got interest accrued on their incorrect charge and now I could have up to 10 days more. I got a receipt from my Airline for the return flight and it was around £178.00, but Opodo charged me £284! So I have asked for a copy of the invoice for BOTH transactions. The invoices indicate a different amount than what was charged. Basically even with a £167 refund I'm paying OPODO almost DOUBLE what the airline has charged for the flights. So much trouble and expense for what should have been a simple booking. I won't be using them again

Absolutely awful. I booked a flight with Ryanair to Oslo through them, They did not provide the boarding passes until I should have already been on the plane and when I did a Section 75 against them on my credit card card, they disputed it. I’m currently going through cancer treatment and they disgust me

Opodo said my flight had been canceled by the flight operator I asked for a refund but Opodo refused to send the money they owe me £783 I have tried their on line chat and was told a pack of lies, they said my refund was on its way but it never arrived. beware don't use this company, they are rip of merchants.

I booked with Opodo to KL via Doha. Initially there was a 4 hour stopover then 7, then 15 hours! I talked online to an agent and asked for to find earlier flights with better connections. They still haven’t got back to me and said I would get less than half the flight cost back if I wanted a refund. The app still has my original flight booking 11 hours later. After reading the other reviews I’m worried I’m not on the flight.

You charged me £60 for prime saying you saved me money . I booked again and compared you with Ryan air and you was more expensive Evan tho you charged me for prime with no refund . Total scam not behind the door not happy will bad mouth you to everyone as you are a total blah and scam

The worst ever experience I had. I was left with my family without any support when the airline cancelled my last flight leg to my final destination. Even though I bought flexible tickets, I was told later that I could not make any changes to any of my return flights. AVOID, DO NOT BUY YOUR MONEY WILL BE TAKEN WITHOUT ANY VALUE.

Con company, be careful you don't click the wrong thing or they will sign you up for a £59.99 per annum service that you didn't ask for with no way of being refunded. With regards to their service, they cancelled my flight to brazil, then offered me a replacement that would take 7 hours longer for the same cost.

it is so good to see people are reading these reviews about OPODO/EDREAMMS and after reading them they decide not to book with this scam company it is the only way to stop them DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH OPODO/EDREAMS they have scammed and robbed so many people thank you to this site for exposing this scam i am still waiting after 2 years for my refund they are thieves

Received confirmation via the app that my flights were booked for my family holiday. But then when I went to cancel my Opodo prime membership, discovered that the outgoing flight was not confirmed due to the payment being declined. Which was not true because Opodo had taken the full amount from my credit card 14 days prior. Only the return flight was confirmed (what’s the point of that?) yet Opodo kept the full amount for all flights and only initiated a refund once I’d queried the status of the booking. I will never use them again. Theives.

Stay away from these thieves!! They sold us tickets to a flight that never existed and they ruined 3 days of our vacation that costed us 2,000 dlls and we have not yet received our money back. They make everything to delay and make you loose your patience. Once on a phone call the opodo guy on the other end of the line made me wait 30 minutes ( 18 euros) and never sent me anything. The government should shut these bandits down!!!!! They are shameless!! I am still waiting for my money. I wont let go!!!

Opoodo never again, one star too many Opodo Prime amount 74.99 euros was deducted from my paypal account without my will and consent! As part of my booking of a flight, I did not agree to pay 74.99 euros because no options were displayed for Opodo Prime, so the customer can choose or ignore his wishes. Everything happens behind the Opodo Process This payment was not shown transparently during the booking and no strong customer authentication was required for this payment. The consumer can therefore only see the paid booking of a flight, but not the purchase of a paid "Opodo Prime" membership at the same time. She also does not respond to emails or phone calls for confirmation of termination after 12 months

Never got a refund of my cancelled flight. The claim status even dissapeared from my account. I called Singapore Airlines to ask for a follow up, and after cheking my flight status, they confirmed nobody claimed for a refund and that my flight was "open". Can we all report Opodo to the consumer protection of UK? They shouldn't be operating if they are scammers. I have just did it, and if we all do it we will be louder. Thank you.

Hello, we’ve spent the last two days trying to get a confirmation email for our booking, but every time we are told we need the booking reference that can be found on our confirmation email, which we don’t have. We can’t call the help centre because they also need the booking reference, which is in the confirmation email. What can we do???!!

Absolute joke. Paid for opodo prime without even knowing it. When they give you the price and tell you what you save. When finally paying the amount it tells you the price has changed and you pay more than all the other sites!!! Please don't get sucked in like we did 😣
