“I booked a flight and stay with them for four. They provided a wrong telephone number for the apartment so I wasn’t able to get the access login to enter. I contacted their customer service but they were unable to help us. We ended up booking another hotel. They won’t refund and take accountability of their mistakes. It is unsafe to book with them. Worst customer service ever. There was no assurance of investigation and escalation. I hope this review will help others NOT TO BOOK with Opodo. They are unreliable when things go wrong.”

“I bought a plane ticket through Oppdon, and a week later they charged an additional €89.90 to my card. Apparently, during the ticket purchase I was automatically registered for their Prime membership, but I never received any information about this and I wasn’t even aware of it. This is a huge scam. On top of that, they are impossible to reach — I tried calling them 16 times before anyone answered. AND IT’S NOT FREE!!! The phone call cost me €20, and it led nowhere. So be warned! They are scammers!”

“Beware of Opodo liers cheats Beware of Opodo they have no credibility and they try hard to take your money without providing any service. I had an experience with a woman who deceived us. We bought a ticket, the price was more expensive than the price of a ticket directly from the company, and we bought insurance. We wanted to change the travel time, but we were shocked by their truth and their lies to their customers. They returned to us 44 pounds out of 163 pounds, and this was after he lied to us in every detail and evaded returning our money under the pretext of a technical faul every time we call They lied to us and we couldn't travel and we canceled the trip”

“The worst travel agent. Terrible. I am overseas, and trying to change a business class flight. Its going to cost me some 2000 pounds to change, if I ever get to change it. Landline calls from here are super expensive. I have called 7 times...7 times!...working on this for three days....a couple of times the line went dead, and no one called back. Another time no one answered for over 15 minutes. Another couple of times they said I would get a call back to make the payment, and they didnt call back Once they sent the link and I used three different cards to make the payment and their site would not accept them. I still havent been able to make the change, I am still waiting for someone to call back. I probably will lose the ticket... THIS IS A COMPANY IS THE WORST....A COMPANY THAT DOSENT CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!...AVOID IT”

“I tried to cancel before I was going to be charged annual Prime membership fee and it took me days of calling various numbers without any answer. I finally ended up calling the UK number and was able to cancel, however I was charged $160 in international calling fees that of course I will never get refunded for. Their US number is a scam and there was no other way to reach a human unless you call the international number and random directory dial because of course nobody picks up when you dial the cancellation option. I would not recommend this service. I used it the 1st year and saved a little on a trip, but on the 2nd year their deals weren't good enough for the locations I was traveling.”

“Beware!! I Purchased a flight through Opodo via Google Flights. Opodo stealth packaged a Membership trial with the booking. I’ve never received an email about neither the trial nor membership. Only today from a PayPal notification did I notice Opodo taking £90 from my account, twice the value of the flight! (Note: still haven’t received an email saying ‘welcome to your membership’, this payment is designed to go unnoticed!)”

“try to cancel opodo prime that I never enrolled. its impossible to cancel. I phoned the number to cancel, mind this is VIP number, you should be able to speak to them immediately. but no. they ask you to stated the last digit of your card even though you put the correct 4 digit Opodo will always said the card number you provided is incorrect. and then they'll try to say we'll put you try try an agent. then no one ever pick up the phone. and the anytime free cancellation flights is a joke. you get only fraction of the refund. not 80% as stated. won't use this service ever. disgusting business practice. To OPODO PLEASE CANCEL MY PRIME MEMBESHIP THAT I NEVER ENROLLED!, it's now 11 AUGUST 2025. I DONT WANT YOU TO CHARGE ANOTHER RENEWAL FEE. PICK UP THE PHONE!!, YOU ONLY PICK UP THE PHONE!!”

“Almost impossible to cancel Opodo Prime when not used. Opodo charged auto-renewal without any prior notice. It's impossible to cancel the Prime in their website or Mobile app. I called in and need 17 minutes just to cancel it. I need to call twice. Feel being deceived by the company. Subscription is easy, but cancellation feel almost impossible. It's a bad business practice that derail trust in the platform. Feel like fraud or deceptive business practice.”

“Very sketchy setup. While trying to book a rental car through Opodo, I wasn’t clearly informed that a 900 euro deposit would be charged before the booking was even finalized. The whole process felt intentionally vague. Worse, when I noticed the charge just 5 minutes later and tried to cancel, they refused to refund even half of the amount. That’s completely unreasonable. Feels like a trap for customers who trust the interface too quickly. I expected more transparency and fairness. Definitely not booking through Opodo again.”

“Booked through Opodo. Great deal, but it cost me 2x 9.99 for a membership that I cancelled. The cancellation takes 2 months to complete, hence the 2x payments. No saving at all. Book direct is my advice, 3rd party bookings don't save u any money. Hidden costs. Lesson learned”

“I clicked on the subscription by mistake while buying a 5ticket and it was the worst mistake ever. I called them to cancel and refund telling them i would pay the 20 pounds of discount i got (their discounts are actually not good) and they didnt want to refund. So i accepted that i will have a subscription that i wont be using but i told them to cancel it for me. Next year, it turns out they didnt cancel in our call and charge me another 80 euros. I have been trying to contact them via email because i am in another country and i cant call without paying extra, and it's impossible to contact them, either their emails are fake or they dont reply. I waited to write this review few weeks to see if they solved something,no success. Never have i been so angry with a company before.”

“I requested invoice when booking my flights because it was business trip. I provided the company name and the VAT ID. Not only I did not get the invoice but when I requested it later it was sent to my name only not company. When I asked to change it they said it's not possible.”
