“the whole process was so easy and not complicated, never had had to wait long for any appointments. On surgery day was very calm nurses made me feel comfortable and reassured me. Nice people, and friendly. I am so pleased with my vision now, but I get dizzy spells now and then when i think my eyes are trying to adjust to things, and sensative to light. i will deffinatley recommend friends and family. best thing i have done”

“Before the surgery i couldnt see anything past my nose with my glasses of and it was something I had to push my self towards doing, but the results have been well worth it. so far I feel it has improved my life giving me freedom from my glasses allowing me to comftarbly do sports and give my confidence in life in general.I would recomemd having surgery to any one who has even just had the slitest thought of doing it, if they dont try they will just never know.”

“I wore contact lenses for over 40 years but eventually had to wear glasses due to dry eyes. I considered my vision to be much poorer when wearing glasses and did not feel as confident driving (had bi-focals). I also hated wearing glasses so having this surgery has transformed my life! The process was painless and very quick and extremely professional.”

“I was very nervous about having the laser treatment but the team were amazing and the reassurance of Jackie the laser manager while having the treatment in the background really helped. I have been very pleased with my aftercare and feel that if I were to have any problems or questions to ask you are only a phone call away.”

“The surgery was uncomfortable but not painful. The day following procedure was unpleasant, but after the first 24hrs to be able to see clearly without glasses made everything worthwhile. Deffinitely recommend to others.”

“Overall, with all my doubts and fears the actual process is so insignificant to the results that there is no real comparision. The discomfort during surgery and afterwards is worth it if it was twice as much, its one of the best decisions i have ever made! The staff are very friendly and organised and my only slight complaint is that its very difficult to book a check up at a local branch for people who live outside of london.”

“I had RLE on both eyes in the past week. Apart from a completely painfree and thoroughly professional treatment, I have been astonished at the instant improvement to my vision. Within 24 hours my sight was almost as good as with my specs and after the second eye was done a week later, my vision both near and far is measurably better than with my varifocal specs. Colours seem sharper and I have no difficulty in changing from distant to near focus. I am now seeing a distinct improvement and clarity as each day goes by. I was particularly impressed with the entire process by all the staff at Bristol. From front desk to surgery, their caring attention and professional approach was just outstanding. I was never left waiting and they were all extremely well briefed and knew exactly who I was and what treatment I was expecting. The procedure was explained to me on several occasions and at no time was I ever pressurised or cajoled into 'signing up' for the operation. Indeed the option to opt out at any stage was frequently emphasised. The surgeon Mr Alex George and his theatre team were particularly attentive both before and after the procedure. I felt entirely comfortable and confident throughout. What a brilliant team! Several of my friends are equally impressed by the immediate change to my vision and I have already referred several for an initial consultation. It is no understatement that this treatment is a serious 'life-changer'. Fantastic!”

“Having Worn Glasses for the last 27 years and been hampered by the restrictions wearing glasses has had on my life, all I can say is I truly have beeen blown away by how much of an Improvement I have experienced in my life since having LASIK eye surgery. The standard of service from Optical Express has been second to none - and all through my journey from initial consultation to the surgery and the follow-up care I have been thoroughly impressed, kept fully informed and able to voice any concerns that I may have had (I had none!). Many Thanks to all concerned who helped me through this journey, a special mention must go to Danielle at the Liverpool One store who demonstrates just how much of a professional she is as her customer dedication was second-to-none. “No real discomfort after treatment. An instantaneous improvement in vision following the treatment. Still feel that my eyes are in the process of settling, as they appear to vary from day to day. Overall fairly impressed, and its great to do without glasses or contacts.”
