“My eyes are very comfortable now I am a month post surgery. My vision is now better than 20/20 and although I still need glasses for close up work, it is lovely not to have to put contact lenses in each day or wear distance glasses which I always found very uncomfortable. I am told that my eyes have healed up very well which I am relieved about. My night vision is still not quite right at this stage as I am experiencing halos around lights but I am confident that this will improve in time. I found the procedure extremely traumatic but now I have better than 20/20 vision I am glad I had it done. I just wish it could have cured my longsightedness at the same time then I would never need to wear glasses again!”

“It is so good not to have to mess about with glasses. imagine waking uo, looking out of the window and seeing the stars clearly! I can honestly say I had absolutely no pain whatsoever. It was a little uncomfortable when the clamps were put in but that was all.”

“I wish I had had the surgery sooner - it is much easier to swim and do the sports I like now I've had the surgery. It was only the cost that prevented me getting the surgery before and if you think about it I will recoup that cost in a few years now I don't have to pay for lenses, solutions etc... It is literally only a very short time of discomfort on the day of surgery for hopefully a lifetime of improved vision.”

“Vision correction laser surgery, is something that I have always wanted to do. Since my vision started to get bad at the age of 15, I have been wearing contact lenses or glasses. I waited a few years after I was eligible for surgery, to ensure that my vision became stable. When I came for my consultation, I had 101 questions to ask, this made me feel very confident, and I knew that I had made the right choice, and that the time was just right. It feels very good to be able to see without having to rely on glasses or contact lenses. Especially when travelling. I would definitely recommend it to anyone I know who may need it.”

“Whilst the level of customer service leading up to my surgery was not very good, on the day the staff were wonderful. I felt very well taken care of and in safe hands. Everything was quick, efficient and painless. The care after has also been very good and any questions I've had have been answered as best they could.”

“I was a little aprehensive about the treatment to start, but after knowing a number of different people who had been through the treatment I felt hopeful. The day of the procedure I was very surprised at how quick and effortless the procedure seemed to be. Now a month later there is some slight difference to my left and right eye, but on the whole I am satisfied and pleased to know that, if needed, I can have have this redone in one eye.”

“My laser surery was done swifltly and I was looked after well . the after care has been good and I haev been given lenses and drops as required to help in the meantime i have been offerd for my glasses to be tweekd as an interim measure and altogether very helpful. altogether very good. I have been given extremely good attnetion throughout and have been given extra lenses and drops as needed. very satisfied . The optician in parrticular was most reassuring.”

“After my father in law had his laser eye surgery with Opitcal Express, he was keen to suggest I try it, although sceptical, I went for a consultation and decided to go ahead. I suffered discomfort on the day following surgery, but this quickly diminished over the next 48 hours. My distance vision is really good, the only thing I have to remind myself about now is taking sun-glasses with me.”

“I was naturally apprehensive about surgery on my eyes but any worries were dissipated by the assurances given by staff, who were very serious and straightforward about the treatment. No false promises were made. The surgery itself was painless and quick. Some discomfort for the first day but immediate clarity of eyesight and after that nothing but gradual improvement.”

“Laser eye surgery with Optical Express is the Bees Knees..... My eye sight has been corrected from always needing glasses to now none at all. The procedure was painless and quick. The only glitch was that one eye needed a further 'top up' treatment but this hasn't detracted from the experience or result. The staff have always been helpful and considerate. I would and have recommended this to other people”

“I hated wearing glasses and could not wear contact lenses for longer than 3 hours without discomfort. Laser surgery has changed my life and I am so grateful. It is amazing to wake up in the morning and see clearly or look at the bed side clock and see the time without having to lean closer or reach for my glasses. My right eye has not healed as quickly as my left eye but after todays appointment I feel confident that all will be well and I will not need reenhancement surgery. Many thanks to you all.”
